needs no training

Pros

Runs well across different environments, is very user friendly and is simple to roll out. I mean it hardly needs any user training at all because everything is user friendly and self-explanatory.

Cons

The browser popups that switch you over to the actual app can be a bit confusing to understand at times. On top of that some browsers occasionally crash when launchingit.

love the layout

Pros

Zoom Workplace keeps everything laid out in a very simple way so each function is pretty easy to find and use.

Cons

At times, the sheer number of features initcan feel a bit overwhelming. It's not really a downside but having better guidance for navigating everything would definitely help.

better suited to internal meetings

Pros

It is a user friendly tool and the video call layout works well for larger organizations. Plus the way the on-screen icons are arranged also feels practical making it accessible for users with different levels of experience and technical ability.

Cons

Itfeels a bit too generic whenitcomes to fit for purpose calls. For 1:1 client meetings, itcan come across as somewhat informal from a user perspective anditseems better suited to internal team meetings.

good audio video for remote

Pros

The software is pretty decent especially for getting work done remotely. Also the audio and video quality come through very clearly and accurately.

Cons

Honestly there isn't anything I disliked about the features init. The product just works well.

Files centered around meetings

Pros

Handling files is much better with it. Also it helps solve document management issues by centering everything around the meeting lifecycle which makes organizing and accessing materials feel more practical.

Cons

One annoying thing is how it sometimes tries to take over parts of your workflow. For example, it may open links in its own built-in browser or email client instead of using your default apps which can feel a bit pushy.

lag free sessions

Pros

Zoom Workplace has been a really great platform for online meetings, virtual classes and similar sessions. The video conferencing quality is also high and usually stays lag-free which makes the overall experience much better. It's also very simple to use and the customer support team has been quite helpful whenever needed. Another useful part is being able to schedule team meetings for a specific time without hassle.

Cons

Larger online meetings can come with a few connection issues for some participants. Still, these are usually minor problems and often get fixed through updates.

Budget friendly software

Pros

Being able to record meetings and save them in Zoom Workplace has been a big plus. Our business runs webinars and it's a budget-friendly way to make sure we always have a replay ready for attendees.

Cons

Usingitfor webinars took some time to figure out so there was definitely a bit of a learning curve. I also wanted to screen share my PowerPoint without showing the presenter notes andittook quite a bit of troubleshooting with ChatGPT to get that set up correctly.

Uses less CPU than teams

Pros

Their customer support has been very helpful. Plus compared to Teams, it uses much less CPU so my device doesn't slow down or lag during meetings.

Cons

The free plan still feels restrictive becauseitcomes with limits on meeting time and participant access.I feel like itwould be much better if they improved that so non-academic users could benefit more as well.

Clear video for multiple meetings

Pros

Zoom Workplace works really well for handling multiple video meetings, team collaboration and keeping the video quality clear throughout.

Cons

At times the link takes a bit longer to recognize and let other participants join while the host is still waiting to approve them.

Trusted more than other tools

Pros

After trying a bunch of other video calling tools, this still ends up being the one I trust most. My guests haven't enjoyed the alternatives nearly as much and one of them only records whoever is speaking which makes reviewing the video later pretty frustrating. It handles all of that really well. The AI note taker is useful, the summaries it generates save time and having both audio and video recordings available is a big plus. On top of that it gives you a lot to work with during calls, like screen sharing sound sharing and even filters that help everyone look a little better. At this point it really feels like they've thought of everything.

Cons

Honestly I am a little tired ofitand would love to switch things up with something new. I have tried other options for that reason but I always end up coming back becauseitstill feels like the best one out there.

Meet clients from anywhere

Pros

Being able to meet with my clients from wherever I am has been a huge plus. The way meeting invites tie into my email is something I really like as well.

Cons

Gettingitconnected with my email did require a bit of setup and that part ended up taking more time than I would have liked.

modern and easy organization

Pros

Zoom Workplace is clean, modern and very easy to use. The way everything is arranged helps teams stay organized and productive which I really like. Also collaboration feels simple and efficient because the layout is user friendly, even for someone who is new to the platform.

Cons

I really haven't come across any major downsides.Ithas been working well for what I need and I haven't had any issues that stand out or feel worth mentioning yet.

Reliable class hosting platform

Pros

It's still a very reliable platform for hosting classes for both presenters and attendees. The only thing I have noticed on the positive side is that the recordings seem to come out with slightly lower quality than before.

Cons

One annoying issue is that when I launchitfrom my iPhone, itsometimes triggers podcast apps to open as well, usually Apple Podcasts or Spotify.

pretty simple to setup

Pros

Zoom Workplace helps my one-person team come across as more polished and professional thanks to its user friendly features and simple setup.

Cons

The part I am not a fan of is the user interface. The menu options feel outdated and old-fashioned compared to newer web conferencing platforms and other modern tech tools.

decent option and widely used !

Pros

It is a great option because it's widely used and most of my colleagues already rely on it for business video calls. That makes it very convenient to use. It's also simple to navigate and the customer support is definitely a nice bonus.

Cons

Only part I don't enjoy is the time limititputs on meetings.Itcuts off after 40 minutes which feels restrictive.Italmost pushes you into upgrading and On top of that there are occasional bugs and technical issues.

Great for video calls

Pros

Zoom Meetings has been a great option for video calls and scheduling. The interface is also easy to navigate and it works well for team collaboration. I never really used the file management features but I also didn't run into any bugs or technical problems and there was never a need to contact customer support.

Cons

Well the issue is the value for money. Compared with some other tools, itfeels like you're paying more for the basic functionality rather than getting a broader set of features.

never notify when needed

Pros

Switching our coordination over to it should be a simple move with no extra cost and that part isn't usually a problem.

Cons

The bigger issue is how oftenitacts up during daily group use. When I am asked to take over as host, about half the time I never get notified that someone is sitting in the waiting room and the load times can be painfully slow.

Chat feature is good

Pros

One thing that really works well with it is the chat feature which makes communication during meetings much more convenient. The video call quality is also very good and the file management is impressive. Even screen sharing is available and very useful especially when collaborating with a team. The auto-record option is a big advantage for hosts and their customer support team has been helpful whenever needed. It's very simple to use, offers strong value for the price and works efficiently for team collaboration.

Cons

A downside is thatituses a lot of data which can be a problem at times.Italso has some bugs and occasional issues that affect the experience. On top of that the ads can be distracting and a bit annoying during use.

good for any team size

Pros

Scheduling and sending invites is really easy, whether it's a one on one meeting or a webinar with thousands of attendees. The annotation tools during screen sharing are also a very nice touch and make collaboration much better.

Cons

Microphone levels vary a lot from person to person.I feel like itwould be helpful to have better audio balancing so louder mics are toned down and quieter ones are boosted.Itwould also be useful if the platform highlighted people talking over each other because of lag since in larger meetingsitcan be difficult to tell who was speaking.

has basic key features

Pros

It is pretty basic and it includes the key features I need to stay productive. Creating, saving and sharing files is also very simple which makes day to day work a lot more convenient.

Cons

The biggest limitation right now is that not enough people are usingityet foritto be truly practical. Most people still rely on Google Drive so that ends up being the easier option. I do thinkitis the better product overall but I probably won't useitmuch until adoption becomes more widespread.
