This system offers a broad range of data entry and custom reporting that suits an engineering firm's needs. Customer service is the best I've experienced with any software company. New features are regularly added based on customer feedback.
Cons
Adding new features regularly can sometimes cause temporary bugs. More frequent updates or additions of learning resources would help reduce the need to contact Customer Service.

Pros
Great customer service. It's nice to speak directly to developers, and issues are usually resolved quickly. The system is intuitive and simple.
Cons
Some reports could be better. It's tough to use for forced account type contracts because it's too complex. Cost codes don't show up immediately for some transaction types.

Cons
The procurement workflow is robust but complicated. It's flexible, but some business workflows have to follow the software's assumed process. User license tiers are a bit confusing and overlap slightly; they could use some simplification. Serving multiple industries can add complexity to workflows.

The team at 4castplus is highly responsive and clearly dedicated to strong client partnerships. This is a refreshing change from my past experiences with software vendors. Their software is fast, easy to navigate, and you can see their commitment to top quality in every module. It's a very well-built system that I'd highly recommend.
Cons
Any cons I have are minor tweaks. The 4castplus team is very responsive about implementing my suggestions in their regular updates, so those cons don't last long.

“Everything in one central place”
Pros
As a mid-sized contractor, we handle many fixed-price contracts, so we must closely monitor our costs and margins. 4castplus has given us incredible visibility into everything happening in real time. It's all on one centralized platform with excellent reporting, which is a massive improvement over the spreadsheets we used before. We also appreciate that we can manage all our subcontracts along with our self-performed work in the same system, which is a huge benefit for contractors like us.
Cons
We handle a lot of mid-sized projects, so some 4castplus features designed for mega projects (like certain project controls and forecasting) aren't useful to us, but everything else is excellent.

“Would highly recommend this product as a Procurement tool”
Pros
I use 4castplus strictly as a Procurement tool. It's very easy to navigate and very flexible. I don't need any of the PM features, so it's nice that I can use only what I require in 4castplus. The support team is responsive, and I've always been able to get help when I need it.
Cons
I only use it for Procurement, and the project management features are useless to me as I don't need to track project-related data.

Pros
The UI is intuitive and easy for our field staff. You can access the tool anywhere, even offline. The reporting functions are excellent, especially for the diversity of divisions we work with.
Cons
4castplus has a ton of features, and we don't use all of them due to our business nature. You need to complete all the training to use the whole system.
