Great product and easy to work with
Pros

This product is really impressive, tailored to what I needed, and was delivered quickly and effortlessly. Working with the company has been great; their communication is clear, and they have solid technical knowledge across various topics and solutions.

Cons

It runs really well already, and I think they just need to get their name out there to gain more experience. I believe all companies benefit from growing!

Collaboration & Embracing BIM
Pros

The software offers a rich feature set at a great price, with excellent support and seamless integration with our LOB applications from top-notch developers! It works well with various operating systems, devices, and browsers, all based in the cloud and accessible from any device, anywhere. If I want to work from any device, in any location, and collaborate with my team, company, branch office, customers, or subcontractors, Builderstorm is the way to go! Other file-sharing platforms don't offer this level of functionality. Consider if you need a revision audit trail for documents, drawings, and other important files. Do you need to capture photos, complete daily diaries, or submit timesheets for a team working on different projects? Do you need to report defects, RFIs, or record plant information? Do you want to store these on local servers and open your private network to the internet for access? Think about the costs of procuring servers (CAPEX), operating system licenses (OPEX), and disaster recovery. With Builderstorm being cloud-based, these concerns are a thing of the past!

Cons

Project photos can be a bit slow to upload and view.

Great digital package
Pros

I work for Southway Housing Trust, a social landlord in Manchester. Last year, we were looking for a company to help us create a new digital package for our tenants. We wanted to transition the sign-up process to a digital format to streamline it. BuilderStorm did a fantastic job designing software tailored to our needs and helping us manage our social housing requirements and challenges.

Cons

NO CONS. We've had a very positive experience. BuilderStorm has put in a lot of effort to customize the functionality and reporting to fit our business and projects.

Pros

BuilderStorm is very intuitive. The customer support is excellent and willing to adapt the software to meet my needs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to other contractors.

Cons

Many of the elements weren't useful to me, which made things quite confusing.

Comprehensive, Project & User Focussed Software
Pros

The team is customer-focused and responsive, based in the UK. The cloud-based system is straightforward. Modules for drawings, documents, RFIs, emails, training, and inductions are simple to use. The permission system is good for providing tailored access for different users. There's a free trial available to assess if it suits my business needs.

Cons

Having a more detailed level of control for document viewing permissions would be really useful.

Builderstorm, where have ypu been all my working life.....
Pros

This software is fantastic; it makes my workday much easier and gives me more time to spend on-site. Plus, I can update anything from my phone while on-site. It's so simple and easy to navigate.

Cons

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to other contractors.

Excellent UK software - great support
Pros

The customer support is top-notch. They reply to emails within minutes and are available by phone. They are enthusiastic about customizing the software to my preferences, which is a huge advantage.

Cons

They're still working on developing the software, so some features I want are not available yet, but they're coming soon. The price will stay the same, which is a nice bonus.

Just Brilliant
Pros

BuilderStorm is quite intuitive and simple to set up. The vendor is very eager to help, and their assistance is really valuable.

Cons

It does have some limitations when it comes to issuing drawings, but that's being quite picky about it.

Excellent Software and first class support
Pros

The software meets all our needs. As a small scaffolding company, we rely on remote daily diaries, timesheets, and document management. We also use the training register to track tickets and expiry dates. Customer support is fantastic, they respond quickly to issues or changes and even adapted the software to fit our methods at no extra cost.

Cons

At first, the software was a bit overwhelming with lots of elements that were not useful to me, making things confusing. But after discussing it with James, I got the unnecessary features turned off. It became much more straightforward then.

Excellent and unique product for the construction industry!
Pros

Project Management I can upload as many projects as I want onto the software, and old ones can be archived rather than deleted. 2. Text SMS Service I can send bulk texts to many people for job ads or to communicate with numerous employees at once. 3. Timesheets Since this is cloud-based, timesheets can be updated by anyone at any time (depending on permissions I grant). Everything is saved and can be submitted to payroll for processing. Hours and wages are calculated automatically, with costs assigned to the specific sites where people have worked. 4. Induction System I can give new users a link to the page where they can click to enroll and register their details. Once approved, their details are automatically added to the user management section, helping to build up the user base. If there are any issues, I can email customer support, who will resolve the problem and are always available to assist if I have any questions or need help using parts of the software.

Cons

Assigning permissions to users might be a bit confusing at first, but after using the software a few times, it becomes easier to understand and manage. 2. Project photos can be a bit slow to upload and view.
