“Be cautious regarding their free trial period
Pros
Unfortunately I couldn't find any positive aspects to highlight.
Cons
As a general contractor (GC) seeking a scheduling and management tool I found Contractor Foreman appealing due to its free trial period. However after subscribing I realized the timing wouldn't work for me. I inquired about canceling my subscription but faced evasive responses until I surpassed the free trial period. Ultimately I was only offered a 75% refund despite paying for a one-year subscription. This was due to not completing the required information for the 100-day free trial period as mentioned in their fine print. I had evidence from emails I sent within the 30-day period but the company disregarded it citing their protocol. I felt deceived by the situation. I only logged into the system once or twice and I believe they had a way to track my activity and determine that I wasn't using the service during the trial period. Exercise caution when considering their trial period as additional steps are necessary to enjoy the full 100-day free trial.

Pros
Among the many features I appreciate the ability to track overall profit easily stands out. Adding bills labor and change orders is a straightforward process.

While not necessarily a con it would be helpful if estimates were saved automatically.

“Powerful Construction Management Software
Pros
After using Procore I sought alternative options when starting my own company and Contractor Foreman surpassed my expectations. It offers comparable functionality at a fraction of the cost. In my opinion it is more user-friendly and enhances client engagement.
Cons
I have noticed a few minor bugs in the mobile app and the user interface could be improved when uploading photos.

“Great product even better customer service
Pros
While we are still in the process of learning the ins and outs of Contractor Foreman we have been pleasantly surprised by the swift and easy resolution of most of our inquiries. The customer service team's responsiveness has been exceptional providing us with a sense of security and finally consolidating our needs into one comprehensive package. After 48 years of dealing with various software systems and struggling to integrate them Contractor Foreman has emerged as the solution that wraps everything we require into a single reliable platform.
Cons
A more comprehensive CRM element would be greatly appreciated. The ability to send emails and track tasks is excellent but having a history of these actions within the system would enhance its functionality. It's possible that this feature already exists and we as new users may have overlooked it.

“Best CRM for large sales workflow & project management pipeline
Pros
The ability to customize pipeline statuses and the kanban card view are standout features. Integrating all data into one cloud-based system accessible to everyone initiating mobile timecards with project coding and more make it a highly versatile solution.
Cons
Some required fields are unnecessary for my needs. The software's level of customization is not as extensive as I would prefer and it lacks automation capabilities.

“Got ripped off by Foreman
Pros
Unfortunately there's nothing outstanding about the features that other software companies also provide.
Cons
The software has a very rigid structure limiting customization options. Not all tables within the software communicate data with each other resulting in redundant data entry. The online chat support is not truly live chat but rather sends an email on your behalf leading to response times of 6-34 hours which is insufficient for resolving issues or obtaining timely answers.

“Terrible Usability. Sammy Terms & Conditions
Pros
The price may be affordable but the experience with the company has been disappointing.
Cons
The usability of the product is extremely poor. For instance I wanted my contractors to write daily logs but the process required four steps which was frustrating. Even after convincing them to do so the dashboard only displayed the project name without the daily log title. Due to these difficulties I decided to invoke the 100-day money-back guarantee but unfortunately it turned out to be a total scam. When I asked for guidance on invoking the guarantee they abruptly canceled my contract and refunded only $350 citing obscure terms and conditions. I caution against purchasing this software unless you want to bid farewell to your money.

“Extremely pleased so far
Pros
Within just a month of using Contractor Foreman we've already leveraged its employee management features like time cards and GPS location tracking. The integration with QuickBooks is yet to be explored and we eagerly anticipate how it will streamline our payroll process. One notable feature is the ability to translate the app into Spanish benefiting our Spanish-speaking employees. We've also begun utilizing the Projects tab which has proven helpful for cost tracking project information and daily reporting. So far our experience with Contractor Foreman has been positive and promising.
Cons
Although we haven't utilized the program to its full capacity yet we have no negative feedback to provide at this time.

Cons
It would be desirable for Contractor Foreman to have a more visually appealing interface. The ability to choose between dark mode and light mode would be a fantastic addition!
