Great Platform For Architects and Designers
Great Platform For Architects and Designers
Pros
I'm impressed with how this platform has transformed into a design oriented solution and is focused on supporting professionals in managing their businesses. Initially, our goal with Houzz was to have an easily discoverable portfolio for prospective clients. Additionally, we wanted to stay updated on customer satisfaction. Currently, we have been attracting better clients through Houzz, which clearly shows the company's commitment to continuous improvement.

Pros
Houzz is by far the best website for generating customer leads. The detailed information provided by Houzz about potential customers is so valuable that I can hit the ground running when we meet. Moreover, the website's aesthetics are as impressive as its functionality. It's renowned for showcasing "after" pictures for those outside the construction industry, while also offering a comprehensive and searchable repository of finished projects that builders can use in real time to assist customers during the planning phase of a renovation.

Houzz Pro is a complete waste of money
Houzz Pro is a complete waste of money
Pros
I couldn't be more dissatisfied with Houzz Pro. Their "Client Success Managers" are unhelpful and show no interest in my success. We were forced into a second year of subscription without receiving any meaningful leads, except for seemingly fake ones that never replied. They take your hard earned money without providing any value in return. I strongly advise all business owners to avoid using Houzz Pro under any circumstances. They only care about taking your money and couldn't care less about the value you receive, or more accurately, don't receive. Please don't make the same mistake we did.
Cons
They promise leads, but they don't deliver. It's a complete waste of money, offering no value whatsoever!

Pros
Houzz Pro excels at presenting our business to customers and bringing in potential opportunities. That's the main reason we invest in it.
Cons
Recently, you made changes to the way we can contact and connect with our customers by having all calls and texts go through your switchboard. This new process limits our communication with potential customers and slows down the entire process. It's even worse when the switchboard has connection problems or errors that prevent us from reaching our customers.

The best thing about Houzz Pro is the ability to stay on top of my projects, communicate effortlessly with my clients, and have all my project data centralized.
Cons
I dislike the frequent changes they make. Just when I get used to one thing, they go and change the layout again. Additionally, I'm not a fan of the fact that the customers' direct phone numbers no longer show up; instead, they go through the operator's number.

Houzz Pro Review
Pros
We particularly appreciate the leads and design aspects of Houzz.
Cons
I've noticed that the leads seem to disappear on Houzz, while we receive many calls from Google. The design tools don't allow me to create full home renovations, including exterior finishes. It would be great if the flooring and wall finishes matched popular vendor products, so I can provide clients with more realistic renderings and layouts for their projects. Pros
Over the years, I have used multiple 2D and 3D platforms. What I like about Houzz Pro is that it consolidates everything into a single location. I also love the convenience of scanning rooms and easily editing plans, then sharing a simple link with my clients to view their live design. Having the billing platform integrated within the same platform is incredibly convenient as well.
Cons

Pros
N/A (Regarding the service I intended to use this platform for, I didn't find any positives as I didn't receive any leads. Therefore, for me, there are no pros.)
Cons
Despite being a customer of Houzz since its early beginnings in London in 2017, I have to say that I've always found the Houzz platform very useful, somewhat like Facebook. It's an enjoyable tool that doesn't necessarily require payment but can still provide some benefits. However, I've long considered advertising on their platform, as it promised enticing client leads that would boost my business who wouldn't want that? Sadly, to make a long story short, after almost 10 months of service and receiving only three measly leads that weren't even relevant to the services we provide, I have to conclude that this has been (and sadly still is!!!) a complete waste of money for us. We haven't received a single good lead that could generate any revenue. I was told that the "magical system of Houzz" requires at least a six-month commitment, which is why they try to lock you into a 12-month contract. Needless to say, this is purely so they can profit from running their ads, and six months didn't change anything. I'm extremely disappointed as a frequent user of their platform prior to this membership. Even though we never received any direct leads, I was happy to promote our work. However, now that I'm paying for this service in a locked 12-month contract and still not getting any leadsNONE like before, I'm truly repulsed by the platform that brings me nothing but invoices. I hope that anyone who is considering their services thinks ten times before proceeding. Remember, you're signing up for 12, very, very long months of invoices with absolutely 0% chance of getting anything in return. I hope this helps someone, just as I wish someone had warned me beforehand. All the best, Dom.

Houzz Pro Extends Our Reach
Houzz Pro Extends Our Reach
Pros
The portfolio feature within Houzz is an excellent way to drive traffic to our website and secure initial consultations. The ability for potential clients to message us on Houzz and discuss their project is another fantastic feature that helps us prescreen leads and determine if an initial consultation aligns with their goals for their home. Overall, we have had success with these leads.
Cons
While having a link to our website is helpful as is the portfolio, it would be great if we could showcase our 360 tours of our kitchen and bath projects. I believe that would captivate visitors to our profile even more. Additionally I have found that the Houzz project match leads haven't aligned with our scope of work, making them cold leads for us.

Intuitive and Welcoming UI/UX!
Intuitive and Welcoming UI/UX!
Pros
As a new (and sole) business owner, Houzz has helped me put many moving pieces in place. I can manage projects, follow up on leads, and track them. In addition, I have built a sleek-looking website by just using the offered templates. I think this feature alone is enough to encourage businesses to invest in Houzz Pro.
Cons
Since Im the only one who uses this software in my business right now, it is sometimes a lot for me to understand new features. They add features (for the better), but it changes how I work, and it takes a while for me to get comfortable again. On the other hand, they make a lot of effort to look ahead, which I find endearing, so its ultimately worthwhile.

Pros
Houzz Pro excels at presenting our business to customers and bringing in potential opportunities. That's the main reason we invest in it.
Cons
Recently, you made changes to the way we can contact and connect with our customers by having all calls and texts go through your switchboard. Cons
I've noticed that the leads seem to disappear on Houzz, while we receive many calls from Google. The design tools don't allow me to create full home renovations, including exterior finishes.
