User-friendly and has the potential to grow

Pros

I am really impressed by how easily I can learn this software for daily use in various aspects of my job. Plus it includes all the basic features I need for efficient project management. So overall, it is a reliable choice for managing construction projects every day.

Cons

I think it could be improved by adding more advanced project management tools that would allow managers make better strategic decisions.

Support is nowhere to be found

Pros

It was great when we were a small company as it handled all of our business needs.

Cons

I came to conclusion that support is lacking. It feels like an act of Congress to get something as simple as an additional license.

A decision I regret

Pros

Jonas gets the job done when it is working, but to be honest, it is the least liked software in our organization. Because the big issue is that it breaks down a lot and when that happens, there is basically no customer support to help out. Also I find it really clunky to use and when it does fail which is pretty often getting any sort of technical support feels almost impossible.

Cons

The support is basically non existent, and it feels like they couldn't care less about their customers once they have got your money. When the product does not work right which happens a lot, there is no interest in helping or fixing things. For example we have been trying for two almost 2 to get technical support for an issue thats stopping us from completing our month-end financials. Even reaching out to our account manager hasn't helped, so now am just browsing the "Meet the Team" page, hoping to get someone important at Jonas to pay attention and help us out. And honestly at this point, I am looking for a replacement software because the lack of customer support has turned this system into a very expensive problem.

Offers the best customer service

Pros

Jonas has been proven to be a game changer for our manufacturing business. We've been able to benefit from its features to improve our project management and deliver top-notch services to our clients. One of my favorite features is the bookmark option as it is so easy to have multiple screens open at the same time. And the team behind Jonas is also great as they're always open to feedback and suggestions to keep the product fresh and updated. Especially our network administrators enjoyed the Jonas user conferences, where they gained valuable insights from the seminars and had the chance to network with other users.

Cons

Implementing Jonas is not at all easy as it has been really time-consuming for us. And the new Jonas dispatcher and scheduler, which is very different from the prior dispatch board, comes with a steep learning curve. Plus working with the customer team to prepare an eMobile app has been tedious at best. But it is a relief that the customer care team actually cares enough to give us all the time that we need in order to prepare the required information. We are hoping that it will simplify our operations and eventually flatten the learning curve as well.

My experience with Jonas was pleasant

Pros

Well I did say my experience with this has been really good, enjoyable and very helpful. What I like the most is how easy it is to use and how unique it feels compared to other options available.

Cons

One thing I disliked most was the greeting, which seemed to be caused by a sudden failure, possibly due to internet issues and its quality.

Exceptional yet affordable

Pros

I am going to make it simple for the readers. When selecting CM software, you are supposed to ask three fundamental questions and Jonas is the answer to all of them. First, Jonas is reasonably priced. Second, they have amazing customer care service. Third, they really appreciate the feedback.

Cons

In the 20 years we have been with the company, the dispatch board is really the only thing that stands out as a problem. It still works the way it's supposed to but it could definitely be more efficient when it comes to scheduling daily calls.

A complete software it is!

Pros

Jonas software covers everything we need it to and it works really well for us. If something goes wrong, the Jonas team is quick to step in. They can even take over your computer (with your permission, of course) and fix the issue remotely while you watch. The best thing is that they are always pretty quick about it. So overall I find Jonas simply the best because of everything it can do. From payroll and billing to AR/AP, job costing and service dispatch it is an all in one solution.

Cons

Me personally find it way easier to use the arrow keys instead of the mouse to navigate in Jonas. That said, some other users here prefer using the mouse, so it is really a matter of personal choice.

Minimize data entry errors

Pros

I love how Jonas gives me a real-time view of everything going on in the business. It is quite helpful in cutting down on data entry errors, which eventually allows us to get more accurate accounting data.

Cons

I had to fill out a ton of forms at the start and give out an endless amount of information.

Reliable software for construction firms!

Pros

It's a solid enterprise solution for construction companies with a clean and user-friendly admin dashboard, and the report writer is definitely a step above the rest.

Cons

Our balance sheet sometimes gets out of balance and no one knows why. Plus UI is a bit outdated too.

Has made everything easy for me

Pros

It has totally eliminated the need to run two separate systems for us. Also I love that one system is enough to extract information from accounting, service and maintenance.

Cons

Creating your own documents isn't easy at all and the process for making reports is pretty messy too.

Worth the money you spend

Pros

They really consider your business their own! Constantly working on our feedback and partnering with other companies that are commonly used in the field. They have successfully created a tool that is suitable for all levels of your organization.

Cons

We usually deal with big invoices, like in millions, and the software does not automatically include comas in the bills so we have to manually adjust before forwarding them which is a bit annoying.

Proven to be the best for our business

Pros

This software has integrated very well with our system and improved productivity. Dispatch scheduler has made our responses to customer queries more organized and timely.

Cons

The Job Costing module is one thing that I find really cumbersome. Also the job invoicing is a bit of a hassle. Like when I'm working with multiple customers for monthly draws, it takes so much time having to go in and out of each job just to create the invoice. Plus, if you don't have a bill set up in accounts receivable, you have to leave the job master, go into AR to set up the bill and then go back into the job master to finish everything. It is just a lot of extra steps.

Thanks to Jonas, our productivity is improved

Pros

One of our main concerns while picking a solution was to go paperless. Jonas excellent features such as eMobile and Field time applications have helped us achieve just that. Plus it offers great customer service as well.

Cons

Jonas was the best choice after figuring out exactly what package we needed. So no complaints to report for now!

A Valuable tool!

Pros

Jonas enterprise is an excellent option when you want to integrate multiple aspects of your business in one straight package. Now all our departments are on the same page at the same time which is of great value to us.

Cons

Fits our needs

Pros

Jonas fits our needs very well especially when it comes to multiple operating divisions at multiple locations. We are way more organized as compared to when we were using our previous software.

Cons

Like with any software, it took us a bit of time to get used to Jonas. The test company they set up before we went live was helpful but it still took some time to figure out how everything works. Now that we have had some time with it, we're all pretty comfortable navigating the software and getting the info we need.

Started rough but ended smoothly

Pros

Program adapts to our needs fairly quickly. Also any recommendations we make often end up included in the updates which is great.

Cons

There are not any major issues we came across But yes, there are times when we need a "workaround" but Jonas has been really helpful in guiding us through those. The biggest challenge for us was the complete system changeover (which we chose to do). Along with that, it required us to think a little differently about how we handle things.

Poor customer support!

Pros

The good thing about it is that you can very quickly and easily start a case. And it's generally easy to get around.

Cons

The fixes often feel more complicated than they need to be and when I call in for help on something urgent, the person I talk to does not always seem to understand what I am asking about.

Quite impressed with the product!

Pros

Well I am really impressed with the schedule dispatching feature as it is simply amazing. Plus, the way it integrates accounting and time tracking is absolutely top-notch.

Cons

We handle a lot of custom home projects with lots of client involvement, but the client-side interface is not great. Since it's Windows-based, it caused some issues for a few of our workstations.
