“You said it was how much?
Pros
As a small company the initial cost and annual expenses of Procore seemed quite high making it a less viable option for us. Given our yearly project volume of 10 million we decided it wasn't a necessary investment.
Cons
Using Procore feels like walking into a wood shop equipped with top-of-the-line tools where exceptional furniture can be crafted. However it would be more justifiable if the software offered a greater level of automation as it currently requires significant user input considering the price. This becomes a concern when budget constraints come into play.

“Procore Rocks!
Pros
The ability to log in from any device whether it's a computer tablet or phone is a standout feature of Procore.
Cons
While I appreciate the availability of custom reports in Procore it would be beneficial if all company-specific fields such as those used for subcontract agreements and purchase orders could be included without requiring additional customization fees. Additionally the ability to insert image snippets within email content and eliminating the extra space between sentences in emails would be valuable enhancements.

Pros
The best aspect of Procore is its ability to compartmentalize multiple projects in one place making it easy to manage and use.
Cons
Certain tasks such as updating personal contact information take longer than expected. The price may be slightly high but considering the quality of the software it remains reasonable.

“Use determined by contractor
Pros
The tracking of technical submittals and RFIs on Procore is crystal clear providing a comprehensive understanding of any outstanding items.
Cons
Some subcontractors struggle to use Procore effectively which can lead to issues. Incorrectly labeled drawings can cause significant problems but these issues are typically related to other users who lack proper training.

“Overall it's great!
Pros
Procore's usability is outstanding overall and their customer service is exceptional. The reminders for due dates submittals and more are highly appreciated.
Cons
The appearance of Procore's emails resembles spam which leads to them being treated as such by subcontractors and others. It would be beneficial if emails appeared as regular emails with customizable titles. Additionally the consistency of drop-down menus needs improvement.

“Procore Accounting
Pros
The features for commitments change orders and budgets in Procore are incredibly helpful for efficient project management.
Cons
There is a basic financial need that Procore should fulfill which includes displaying retention amounts and paid invoices in the financial statements. Moreover having a "note" column for every cost code during budget meetings would facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.

“Great software for managing and organizing multiple projects
Pros
One of the standout advantages of Procore is its seamless integration with our existing software suite. It consolidates all the necessary information in a single platform allowing us to easily monitor project progress and subcontractor updates. This is particularly beneficial for our team which operates across various locations in Southern California ensuring efficient communication and collaboration between office-based staff and project managers.
Cons
There have been instances where technical issues have caused payments to sync twice leading to discrepancies. It would be beneficial to have the ability to manually adjust PCO and PCCO numbers in case of errors ensuring everything aligns properly. Additionally being able to approve the status of PCOs or invoices independently even if subsequent ones require adjustments would be advantageous. Organizing commitments by different Prime Contracts similar to client invoices rather than lumping them together would enhance clarity. Furthermore automating the setup of new billing periods at the beginning of each period would reduce the manual effort required.

“Procore is my first and last choice when it comes to construction.
Pros
I must admit that I first opposed my companys decision to utilize Procore. I was essentially forced to learn how to use it as it became a more frequently used tool by contractors on my projects. In the end, the features that worry me the most as an architect—such as tracking RFIs and submittals, making personalized logs, and monitoring field issues—have me reasonably satisfied. Since they were also utilizing Procore for accounting, the general contractors in each case handled the majority of the setup work. Its also incredibly useful to be able to keep track of drawing updates and modifications.
Cons
It is still a little bit of a hassle, but Im still delighted to use this software to make the contractors life easier. When trying to build something straightforward, like an "Open RFI" template to utilize for meetings, there can occasionally seem to be too many options. In addition, the programs design for meeting minutes is, to put it mildly, trash. The application is obviously designed with the contractor in mind; the CA process on the part of the design team seems to have been almost entirely neglected. At my most recent job, I had to collaborate with the GC and Procore to set up the right RFI and submittal routing so things would not sit around and get behind schedule.

“Procore is ok not the greatest
Pros
The ability to keep all project data in one location is the standout feature of Procore providing convenience and efficiency.
Cons
Every Procore user seems to believe they hold the highest importance and can dictate priority statuses for all project participants. Unfortunately this can result in delays as it might take several days to receive a response. Constant reminders until the answer is provided can be bothersome and not preferred.

“ProCore has helped us manage our multi-prime project.
Pros
Once the backend setup is complete managing projects becomes remarkably easy. It facilitates seamless communication within the system and across multiple contractors while also providing efficient tracking of change orders and other requirements.
Cons
The setup process may take longer depending on the complexity of your project such as having multiple primes or different project phases. However once the initial work is done it becomes easier to navigate.
