“Procore is great for construction project
Pros
The overall look and feel of Procore is impressive. It offers a convenient way to organize and share files with others ensuring easy accessibility.
Cons
The PDF viewers and accessing documents from the app can feel a bit rigid. It would be helpful to have more seamless access to everything within the app without needing to export documents.

“Used as a subcontractor for another company.
Pros
Procore provides ample options for choosing categories and subcategories allowing for extensive customization.
Cons
It's worth noting that some questions receive the same answers repeatedly but there is no option to redo the same report or even specific sections. While this may have been a deliberate choice by the general contractor we were working with it can feel monotonous redundant and a waste of time. It would be beneficial to have the flexibility to modify and update reports or sections as needed improving efficiency and avoiding unnecessary repetition.

“The most flexible project management software.
Pros
Procore has given us a great deal of flexibility in project management, and weve been able to avoid a lot of the mistakes we used to make while setting up the projects numerous submission tables. You may filter shop drawings logs or RFI logs, for example, using Procore in a few easy steps, find out the status of the topic youre looking for, and follow up with other members by notifying them. In fact, it streamlines a number of processes and constantly monitors all tasks and project activities. The most reliable reports are created by Procore since they encompass all project management functions, display the general status of the projects business and completion percentages with graphs and tables, cover all financial issues, and much more.
Cons
There’s not much to say when it comes to pointing out the bad stuff in Procore. While that being said, the software does introduce some complexity due to its offerings and if you don’t have a properly trained team, you’d end up losing money. All in all, Procore is excellent for contracting projects, and there arent many drawbacks or technological issues because it is cloud-connected and has a fantastic user experience.

“Procore: the perfect all-rounder for construction project management.
Pros
I personally love using Procore since it has an agile development team that continuously enhances their product based on in-depth analytics and feedback from actual customers. Procore is a product that incorporates all the essential capabilities required for project management in the built environment. Furthermore, the solution supports industry best practices for building project management, which, according to experts, is unquestionably advantageous for proactively controlling risk. Most significantly, Procore gives us the ability to better serve our clients by storing crucial project information in a reliable system.
Cons
What I dislike is that Procore is still a highly challenging tool for onboarding new staff despite having comprehensive multimedia training materials. Additionally, the Procore marketing materials did not accurately portray the costs associated with implementing Procore across the whole organization.

“Procore really revolutionized our workflow.
Pros
Ive worked on single and multi-family homes, mixed-use buildings, affordable multi-family housing, and commercial construction projects. Procore has been excellent on all types of projects. Daily Logs are simple to complete and can be emailed to the right people. As a result, they are more accurate because they actually get the job done. Adding pictures to the logs is also fairly simple. You can add links to images on your drawing set using Procore. This is especially useful when we send out bid packages since it allows potential contractors to view additional information and the current state of our business remodeling projects. Procores Reports feature makes it simple to keep track of everything if you need to send out numerous requests for bids. There’s a lot more, but it’s safe to say that I love using Procore.
Cons
I wish the markup tool could be used for more things, though. It would be wonderful to have features that are included in simple takeoff software. It would be beneficial if there was some simple way to place a dot that was color-coded. The current system looks quite harsh, but I have no doubt that theyll improve it.

“Procore is my favorite when it comes to cloud-based construction projects.
Pros
The construction management solutions offered by Procore are practical and simple. It enables me to assign submittals to subcontractors so that they are aware of precisely what is required and when it is expected. The ability of the submittal tool to assign submittals to subcontractors so that they are aware of what is required and when it is expected by And the ability of the Punch List tool to streamline the tracking process and even pinpoint each item to a specific location on the drawings are some of the best features that come to mind.
Cons
Procore-generated emails frequently tend to be ignored, which I think has to do with how generic they are. As an example, if I am a subcontractor sitting at my computer and I receive a Procore message, I have no idea if it is a request for submittals, a request for bids, or an update to the drawings. There is a certain way things need to be done with Procore, which gets frustrating quickly since you cannot change all the ways work is done in your company. And if you try to change things to match how your business operates, you risk breaking parts of the softwares automated capabilities. The markup choices for the drawing tool are excellent but inconsistent.

“The only software you will ever need for construction management.
Pros
As a planning manager, the accurate preservation and documentation of all project records is one of my critical responsibilities. Thanks to Procore, I was able to learn the status of those documents and whether they had been approved or not. This made it easier for me to perform my duties, particularly when it came to creating time claims. Many of the issues were fixed by Procore, so there was no longer a need to send them to the clients. This decreased downtime and favorably impacted the percentage of task completion. I can comfortably claim that this is the most intuitive multi-tasking platform I have used that can handle all project requirements and will enable the project team to manage all project documents and keep track of their status.
Cons
My employees had to undergo training spanning many days so that they could learn how to modify some models and tools to meet project requirements. The advantages of Procore for organizing projects, particularly construction projects, exceed any drawbacks, and learning how to use the platforms features will give you the power to finish all of your tasks there swiftly and effectively.

“The best virtual toolbox for construction management out there.
Pros
We had been really hesitant about investing in the software we were going to implement in our business for the first time. After all, it is a substantial investment, not just a straightforward free app, and should be treated as such. This package, which is intended for construction professionals, offers a comprehensive way to manage numerous projects involving numerous individuals and teams, including architects, designers, and subcontractors.
Cons
The only really frustrating aspect is that only the browser version, not the app, offers access to company-level data (such as visibility across projects, individual "open items" lists, and financials).

“Deceiving features. Wont allow you to test drive. Nothing seems to be natively done in Procore.
Pros
The user interface of Procore looks impressive from a distance and during our demos.
Cons
Native functionality within Procore seems limited as scheduling accounting integration and reporting on action plans based on assignees require external tools. Manual entry and lack of visibility or accountability occur when tasks are created individually. Additionally timesheets and schedules do not integrate with the workforce planning module which can be frustrating.

“Procore Value Correlates to Use
Pros
Implementing Procore will enable our company to manage all projects in a unified format significantly enhancing efficiency. It establishes direct connections between our office and field teams including subcontractors and vendors. Procore offers extensive training resources for a smooth start and their 34/7 chat support is highly beneficial.
Cons
The cost factor raises legitimate concerns but investing in Procore without fully implementing it within your company would be akin to purchasing a backhoe and leaving it idle. To maximize the software's value make it a critical component throughout your organization. Choose capable Company Administrators provide them with sufficient time to learn and set up Procore according to your company's needs. Develop standard operating procedures to ensure team members understand how to use the software in line with your company's requirements. Procore is not a tool where you can simply swipe a card and expect everyone to utilize it voluntarily.
