Platform can feel clunky at times like downloading plan sets is not as intuitive as it should be, and navigating back to different pages is not very simple.

Procore is an excellent ERP system that links project management, accounting, subcontractors, vendors and owners. All project information is centralized and permission settings ensure users only access what they should.

Cons

I cannot drill down into budget line items to see a cost breakdown. This could be due to our systems configuration as we sync expenses from Sage Intacct instead of entering them directly into Procore.

I struggled with basic project management tools for construction projects because they could not meet all my diverse needs. Then one day a client recommended Procore and within a week we had it up and running. I can confidently say there us a big difference between Procore and those basic tools. Procore is built for complex tasks. With multiple sites running simultaneously, we have kept up with all of them without issues, monitoring every phase until completion. My favorite feature is the Gantt charts as they present data clearly so everyone is on the same page. Procore keeps us updated with real-time data on finances, budgets, project progress and more. It even simplifies reporting to senior management.

Cons

Procore is the best out there. We have had a smooth experience, thanks to the diverse user community and 24/7 support.

Pros

Having all project financial elements like forecasting, subcontracts, POs, progress claims, variations etc in one place makes tracking them simple. When Procore is also used for project control tasks like RFIs and document management it becomes even more streamlined.

Cons

Its frustrating that I cannot alter variations once they are approved. Also, not being able to edit PO/SC SOV line items after an invoice is uploaded makes the invoicing process more time consuming.

“Buying Procore Was a Mistake!

Pros

Honestly nothing. I was completely frustrated with the entire experience. We spent six months trying to get Procore's customer success team to make it functional, but all we faced were problems and delays. We sent messages with all the error codes multiple times a week, only to get responses like We'll get back to you. It was the worst customer service I've ever encountered.

Everything. First off I hated their refusal to refund all the money I paid after their complete failure. We spent $20,000 and got nothing in return except wasted time and frustration.

Pros

FUNCTIONALITY. Procore has an impressive range of functions. I have personally used it for invoicing and estimating which were pretty simple and very detail-oriented. It also offers fantastic project management tools for the construction industry which allows me to save, use and share all necessary documents like drawings, addendums, estimates etc.

Cons

Price is way too high. For small companies like ours its a huge expense.
