Great training and simple for anyone to use

Pros

The complimentary training you get after signing up is great. And the platform is simple enough for anyone to use even if you are not good with technology. The thing I like the most is that it handles every part of a job in one place.

Cons

Well the price is higher than some other services. Also the reporting tools could be more powerful and there are limits on how much you can customize things. And I feel like the scheduling could also use better automation to fill in some gaps.

Great piece of software

Pros

I was using another software until I discovered Tradify. It handles everything and more, including customer databases, jobs, scheduling, invoicing, etc. It has made my life much simpler.

Cons

It's a bit pricey but manageable, and overall, it's worth it.

Tradify - small review from a HVAC tech prospective

Pros

I love the quote and invoice templates and how easy it is to send them via email or phone, making it simple to politely remind customers to pay their bills.

Cons

It would be great to combine multiple invoices into one, but maybe I just don't know how to do it. A weekly schedule in a tile form, similar to Apple Calendar, would make it easier to display the week ahead and the jobs for each day.

Tradify for small business

Pros

We are very pleased that we can store all our client data, quotes, and scheduling in one system accessible to everyone. We're not using the billing feature yet, but that's our next step. We wanted to familiarize everyone with it first.

Cons

I have no specific dislikes yet, but sometimes sent quotes show as opened and viewed by the customer when they didn't even receive them.

Pros

It ensures that all information is meticulously organized and readily available in a single, convenient location, making it easy to access whenever needed.

Cons

You can't enter any information into the program unless you're connected to the internet. It would be great to enter info offline and then sync it when you get a connection.

The software seemed capable of alleviating many aspects of my job.

Cons

The sales staff were too persistent in getting me to sign up before I had a chance to try it. I don't agree with pressure sales and would never sign with a company that has those principles.

Pros

Tradify is a simple all-in-one software for small to medium-sized companies. We found it quick to learn, with most features being self-explanatory.

Cons

The scheduler gets very busy once you have a certain number of employees, making it harder to see the workloads at a glance. However, you can use filters to view the day differently and see what's going on day by day.

Pros

Having a clear overview of our entire teams schedule and location gives us the flexibility to reassign jobs at the last minute. Plus being able to create quotes fast using pre-set Kits has significantly sped up our bidding process.

Cons

I'd really like it if I could see a full cost summary for a quote that separates labor from materials before sending it. Because when I use pre-made kits, I have not found a way to check this breakdown first.

very user-friendly for sharing job information

Pros

Tradify is very user-friendly. We can attach PDF documents and pictures directly to job entries which makes sharing crucial information with our technicians much simpler. For regular, repeating jobs, you can also set up invoices to be generated automatically each time.

Cons

There are a few things that I noticed. Like you cannot permanently attach building plans to a repeating job for future reference. Also there is no way to manage the automatic invoice reminders and clients can get annoyed if they receive too many.

An amazing tool for quotes and invoices

Pros

It is an amazing tool that I rely on every day for creating quotes and invoices for my data cabling work. The integration with my suppliers ensures my pricing is always accurate which makes me very happy. Plus the mobile app works perfectly allowing me to generate bills and accept card payments on-site through Stripe. Overall it is incredibly convenient.

Cons

This is a pretty minor issue but since their base is in New Zealand and I am over here in Australia, it can sometimes cause a small hiccup. Just a geography thing.

My favorite part is having access to it on all our phones and devices. Updates to tasks and job statuses happen instantly which keeps everyone in sync.

Cons

It is fantastic and really helps our business grow but we feel the standard reports are not the ones we need for our daily, weekly or monthly routines. Also the system tends to slow down when we are working on larger projects which can be frustrating.

Easy to use & great accounting integration

Pros

Tradify platform is extremely easy to figure out, has a visually appealing design and connects perfectly with our accounting software.

Cons

Our only initial complaint was the lack of a feature to email job details directly to our subcontractors. But they listened to us and have since added this. That's a perfect example of why we like them as they actually listen to user feedback and consistently improve the platform.

love how simple the quote process is

Pros

I love everything about it. The process is so simple as when I send a quote to a client, they can accept it directly from the email and I get an instant notification in Tradify. So overall it is a brilliant app and I would definitely recommend it.

Cons

Honestly I do not have any complaints at the moment. I found the whole system incredibly easy to get the hang of.
