One of the best you can get.
Pros

We are so invested in Salesforce, and that was the biggest concern when investing in a marketing software. Thankfully, Act-On comes with a native integration with Salesforce, so we didn’t have to do a single thing to connect our CRM with it. Other automation software we were considering was considerably more complex than Act-On, and then again, it didn’t really integrate well with Salesforce. It provides a lot of flexibility in terms of how we can track campaigns and act on them. Customer service often calls randomly to just check on us and see if we need any help.

Cons

The software is very capable, there’s no doubt about that, but it takes a lot of effort in order to be really effective. To be fair, this is the case with all the other automation software, where you need to be really comfortable with all the features to develop a working campaign. But make sure the team knows what all the features can do; otherwise, it is a waste of money, trust me. If not for their excellent customer service, we would have moved on a long time ago.

So easy to use, Act-on is marketing automation done right.
Pros

Act-On is excellent at automation and creating journeys, which is complemented with detailed training and amazing customer support. Our squad was really pampered by the Act-On staff, and this has made it much easier for us to adapt and learn the software quickly. And it’s safe to say that this wasnt true for all of the other products we looked at. The analytics are on point, and the data can be extracted and manipulated to create the exact report we need for deeper understanding. Also, the interface with MS Dynamics has helped us move to a proactive pipeline development program where we can identify strong leads and find out when and how our clients use (or dont use) our content.

Cons

They don’t really provide adequate technical support. They have great potential to grow and become a real challenge for all the big names out there, but little issues like these can hold them back. They should stick to exactly what their clients want, or at least fix the things that are already there. By getting rid of or updating products as needed, they can make their customers much happier and grow as a business.

Unimpressive and faulty
Pros

You can upload your email easily in an innovative way. Good campaign running tools.

Cons

The analytics are limited for us. Their analytics never fell into lines with Google Analytics and Oribi, and if you could open and press onto the clients, end-users denied that there was no such company which they have by chance opened and pressed on the email.

Excellent product
Pros

When you came to know this software, it is very innovative and efficient. They offer email campaigns, lead scoring, assessing the total voice of the customer.

Cons

If only you choose the white glove setup service it is simple to use, otherwise its really difficult to understand what is happening at first. Some features that other CRMs have is absent here so I would not recommend it. Their outlook email plugin works fine when its works but foretimes its shows problems. I hope you understand their data fields with their help.

Decent tool for marketing automation.
Pros

This tool is competitively priced. I do like this tool. It’s great for email campaigns, lead scoring, assessing, tracking etc. It automates marketing for you and keeps track of it as well. It just takes a while to learn to use it.

Cons

The Dynamics CRM is missing a few features, so I wouldn’t recommend going with that. It’s not easy to learn to use this tool. The Outlook email template usually has problems. They need to give out clear instructions about the data fields to add and edit what is being integrated.

Great experience with Act-On
Pros

We have really enjoyed using Act-On. It works perfectly for us even though some of the functions have been called dated. Emails campaigns are easy to construct and send out. Tracking their performance is on our fingertips. You can upload CSV files. Also, love their CRM capabilities.

Cons

No complaints at all. This software has been consistently satisfying to work with

Great Experience
Pros

This software works well for our company. It is capable of doing all the things that we require it to do. Our marketing plan isn’t that complicated. It is easier to create email campaigns and track results. The Dynamics CRM is easier to use as well. Uploading .csv files don’t take much time.

Cons

My experience with this software has been great, and nothing negative happened. This software did not disappoint me.

Easy to learn and use
Pros

For me, it wasn’t that hard to get my hand on this software. It was easy to learn and didn’t take much time. I focus on sending out monthly campaigns. Designing emails with the help of templates and all is quite a simple process. My overall experience with this tool has been great.

Cons

At first, the reporting was something I didn’t really like, but now that I’ve understood the information that it provides, it’s been a lot better.

Provides easy access
Pros

It can be easily learned to use without proper training or guidance. I basically center around the month to month newsletter being sent to an enormous gathering of customers.

Cons

It didnt take long for me to learn how to use it, even without hands-on guidance. I primarily focus on a monthly campaign being sent to a massive group of clients, and I was able to refer to past ones created by my predecessor as a standard template. Designing is a very simple process.

There aren’t many things to complain about, really. The system can be learned by watching some tutorial videos quite easily. No expensive training required

Act-On allows us to generate and nurture our leads, I used it when working for a marking company, it was great. Act-on showed great progress when it comes to lead generation and other major needs.

Cons

Act-On email creator had few features which do not fulfill our design requirement. It was not that good of a feature.

Powerful tool. Totally worth the expense

Intuitive functions. Easy to navigate interface. Great tracking tools.

Cons

We encountered a few issues at first but they later implemented a better onboarding process involving better training and set up. Our experience with Bootcamp was also very pleasant knowing Act-on now offers that at the kickoff for other customers.

Robust tool.
Pros

Navigating through the software is easy. The actions that the tool performs are intuitive. It provides insights to our sales team. It is integrated with our CRM tool and works great. Lead nurturing is easier with this tool. This tool is worth the price.

Cons

The onboarding experience that we had wasn’t the best, but now they’ve improved and do give proper training and set-up sessions to their clients. We later went to their boot camp and were quite pleased by knowing that they’re offering trainings and all at the beginning to new customers.

The Best automaton tool
Pros

Act-on has been incredibly useful to us in creating and sending email campaigns, tracking results, tracking and communicating with clients. It is really easy to learn to use, really intuitive functions overall.

Cons

Occasionally glitchy layout. Sometimes, it looks one way in the preview pane but entirely different in the test send.

Great tool
Pros

The software is fairly intuitive. Doesn’t take much time to learn and is easy to teach as well. We use this software mainly for lead generation, creating email campaigns as well as client communication.

Cons

Once in a while, I do notice a few glitches in the layout. The preview pane shows the look which is different than that in the test send.

The tool is extremely user-friendly. It is easy to navigate through, and learn ways of creating email campaigns, forms, landing pages etc. It has been 2 years since we started using Act-on, and our overall experience with it has been great. The customer service team is great as well.

Cons

Not something negative, but it would be great if they could add different ways of creating custom templates within the program.

Pros

Absolutely love how user-friendly it is, all over. You can easily navigate through the whole system, without requiring any proper training or tech experience. creating email campaigns, landing pages, and forms, etc. is really easy as they offer you helpful tips to utilize the features to make the best of them.

Cons

it would be nice to have some different ways to create more custom templates within the program. Other than that, there are no cons to Act-On.

Pros

This tool is great, and our experience with it has been great as well. We’ve been able to gain marketing insights, generate leads, and develop automated programs. The templates are easy to use and create. Everything works great on the user level as well as the administrator level. Easy to create emails, list segments, score leads and integrate all the work. It is a great marketing tool.

Cons

I’d say the price, as this tool lacks some of the marketing resources. It is also unable to schedule integrating segment runs. This basically caused problems with some of our marketing aspects.

Pros

This software is a great alternative. It does a lot of tasks and is great for most. Creating emails, forms, landing pages, campaigns etc is quite easy. It syncs easily and works really well with Salesforce. There aren’t any issues that I’ve noticed with the integration.

Cons

The emails aren’t in a drag and drop format, but they’re in a modular form. The forms are not dynamic either. This software is good, but it is not as comprehensive as many other marketing platforms.

We basically needed a product that could be used to segment things and to reach out to our customers with the product lines we offer. It gives a proper customer service analytics etc. It is quite simple and easy to use. It is easy to manage all the email marketing tasks. We are able to automate emails as well, especially for the varied customer base that we have. The social media feature is great for us as well. With act-on we have been getting really amazing results so far.

If we could personalise it more according to our sales force’s requirements, as they know how they would like the system to have a proper customer track and their responding.

This tool helps us track all our visitors, the sign-in and the anonymous ones. Being part of the sales and marketing team, this tool is highly appreciated by us. It has helped us make things better for our company and the way we market things. The customer support is fantastic. The tool also lets you automate your workflow, making it smooth.

Cons

Before starting off with this product, one should actually get trained on it otherwise it is common to make mistakes and set wrong algorithms. It is also recommended to monitor this tool regularly, as we’ve noticed that it changes its settings automatically without any kind of a notification for it.

It has a lot of features and can be integrated with many other software products. We used it as an alternative. I must say that their sales department is doing a great job of selling this product.

Cons

All we had was trouble. From day 1 it has been quite problematic for us. Issues were very random like disconnection, which took hours to get repaired. The emails we sent went to spam folders. The customer service isn’t that great, as it always took hours just to explain our problem to them.

This tool is quite extensive and automates all the workflows related to social media marketing and all other marketing tools as well. It has 8 automates program templates that can also be customized. Overall, it’s been a good experience with it. I just started using this tool and took over the software from a former employee. It is easy to use. It’s not been long since I started using it so, I don’t have much to say about it.

Cons

I am still in the learning process, but I do think that they might have a lot. I also think they don’t have an image editor, so we’re unable to edit images once we upload them.
