“personalized emails”
Pros
Improved how we communicate across the organization and that's been a major factor in our success. We're able to send clients a much better experience by building personalized messages and delivering them securely through email. Another big win is that our clients can contact us from anywhere, at any time which keeps everything running smoothly. We've seen strong engagement from our clients and the results are clearly measurable on our side.
Cons
Honestly, there's not much to complain about.

It helped me grow by reaching more customers and the support team has been helpful.
Cons
I used the free trial and didn't run into major issues but the software could use a bit more stability.

“Huge range of features”
Pros
Very easy to use for most people and has a wide range of features.

At the beginning, everything can feel a bit overwhelming but it doesn't take much time to learn how everything works and its smooth sailing from there.

“great lead tracking”
Pros
Helped me pull in more leads through social marketing content. I can also see the information shared on the internal Slack channel and Salesforce and since it's available to everyone, it makes it much easier to monitor how my campaign is performing. On top of that it integrates smoothly with other apps which keeps the campaign tracking process running without a lot of friction.
Cons
Pricing feels a bit on the expensive side and the demo period is pretty short.

“powerful automation”
Pros
I really like the way it lets you build complex automation sequences without much hassle, plus the reporting tools are pretty detailed and useful. The segmentation options are another strong point too since they make it easier to target exactly what you need.
Cons
The interface could definitely use some refinement and the automation setup can feel a little overwhelming at the beginning. It takes a bit of getting used to before everything starts to click.

“helpful chat feature”
Pros
This program feels really easy to use. If you run into a snag and can't figure something out right away, there are lots of support resources available. The built in chat feature is also a nice touch for getting extra help when you need it.
Cons
Since we've only just kicked off the trial period, it's still early and we'll see how things go longer term but nothing to mention for now.

“tricky setup”
Pros
Email automation is solid and the emails themselves look great once you send them out. The targeting features are useful too which makes it easier to send campaigns to the right people.
Cons
The biggest drawback is how complex it feels to set up and keep running. Even after doing email marketing and general marketing for about a decade, I still end up spending hours for tasks that usually take me only a few minutes in other tools. It's a bit overly difficult for new users though once you get the hang of it, the platform becomes a lot more worthwhile.

“Difficult to use”
Pros
Connection between my e commerce platform and their abandoned cart marketing tools felt smooth.
Cons
Ease of use isn't really there. Compared with other options, getting a client trained on the platform was basically a nightmare. Since we often set it up for clients but they later wanted to run it on their own, we ended up switching to a different provider. It doesn't feel as user friendly as the cheaper competitors.

“efficient tagging system”
Pros
I really like the automations especially how it automatically suggests things like tags inside the emails. It's also handy that I can save elements for later. When I ran into a bug, the support team responded extremely quickly and was genuinely competent. Another highlight is that I could import automations and I was able to load a coach's ready made automation in just three clicks. That saved me a lot of time. On top of that the integrations with other tools (like Elopage) are a strong feature.
Cons
Fairly expensive for my budget even though it does offer a lot for the money. The German translations can be a bit tricky at times and within the automations some parts don't always feel logically structured which led me to make a mistake in one automation. I also don't like that the email code for 2 factor authentication often arrives late or doesn't come through reliably.

“centralized platform for stronger marketing”
Pros
Brings our marketing efforts together in one place which means we get a single centralized marketing platform and tighter control over our campaigns. It also makes room for more advanced approaches things like personalization and automation that have helped us run more successful marketing campaigns overall.
Cons

“good for basic email automation”
Pros
A solid email service provider for basic email automation.
Cons
I'm frustrated that I switched away from using this yet they still billed my account without any reminder notice. I reached out about one day after the charge posted and they wouldn't offer a full refund or even a prorated one. That feels deceptive to me. If they're going to run automated annual billing, the bare minimum should be an email reminder before the payment goes through.

“Automations boost marketing ROI”
Pros
Using this has opened up a lot of ways to cut down our manual marketing work by automating tasks such as lead engagement with automated replies. Because of that, our marketing results have improved compared to what we invest which has been a big win for us. It's also helped us build more personalized marketing campaigns and that approach has brought in more customers over time. One more thing I appreciate is how simple it is to stay engaged with leads right when it matters most.
Cons
Haven't run into any issues with ActiveCampaign. Everything has felt super smooth.

“powerful lead capture”
Pros
It's genuinely easy to use and it includes the core functionality you need to capture leads and then target them with campaigns. The tagging workflow is especially simple and it lets you set up custom fields and organize them into groups without much difficulty. Automation also performs really well.
Cons
The interface could use a bit more polish. There's a learning curve at the start but after you get familiar with the layout, it becomes much quicker to locate what you need and carry on with your work.

“strong email tracking”
Pros
Simple to use and get set up. Our monthly emails have noticeably leveled up and they look better than ever. I especially appreciate the quick, clean reporting for open rates, unsubscribes and link clicks and everything is right there without any delay. It's also helped us cut down a ton of time and cost by handling much of the heavy lifting for our marketing workflows.
Cons
We manage three separate brands within the same company and it would be great if we could share templates across them. Aside from that single gap, it has been fantastic.
