“affordable automation with strong support”
Pros
Affordability and the overall range of features feel like its biggest strengths versus other enterprise grade email marketing and automation tools. Customer service has also been solid as responses typically come in under 24 hours.
Cons
Dashboard performance and responsiveness could be better. Page navigation and saving changes to data don't feel snappy and that lag occasionally leads to misconfigurations.

“ActiveCampaign review”
Pros
I enjoy using the CRM and the automation features especially how visual the automations are. It also pairs nicely with ClickFunnels which makes the whole workflow feel more connected.
Cons
There's a bit of a learning curve though the training materials help a lot.

“plenty of useful features”
Pros
Plenty of built in features come with the service cost so I don't feel like I'm getting hit with a bunch of extra charges just to try something new. Everything included in the plan makes it easier to explore and use different capabilities without constantly adding new costs.
Cons
Learning the platform takes work and it can demand a lot of focused time before you can really make the most of it. When it's time to set it up, it often feels like you need someone dedicated to understanding the system especially around kerning and the finer points just to get things running properly.

“organized dashboard”
Pros
Dashboard is well laid out and organized which makes it much easier to manage my campaigns day to day. I'm also seeing much better email deliverability than I got with my previous WordPress based email plugin.
Cons
Pricing feels on the expensive side compared to the email marketing plugin I was using before.

“powerful automations”
Pros
The active campaign ended up helping us pull in more customers while delivering a solid experience for them. It also improved how we handle marketing especially being able to tailor messaging to different demographic groups. Beyond that, it cut down a lot of time on our side and reduced the chances of missing opportunities. What really stands out is the ability to build multiple automations and they feel more customizable than what you get with some other tools.
Cons
Depending on what you're selling, the pricing can get steep. If your sales model depends on reaching a large audience, costs can climb pretty fast. On top of that the platform is a bit tricky to navigate and takes time to learn. Customer support also didn't feel very strong and I would've appreciated more guidance upfront especially around how to use the product effectively.

“Works well for us”
Pros
We initially looked at other tools to broaden how we use email and automation but after comparing options and talking with other companies, we ended up sticking with this. Working directly with the ActiveCampaign team also helped us understand everything it can do so we were able to fully get value from what we already had.

“easy to use”
Pros
It feels fairly easy to use and it comes packed with a lot of useful features. Pricing is also pretty reasonable and the app is scalable enough to grow with what you need.
Cons
Occasionally the software has bugs. The interface isn't always consistently designed either and the auto save behavior can be hit or miss sometimes it saves automatically and sometimes it doesn't.

“campaign builder is easy to work with”
Pros
Really enjoying the CRM especially the way I can tag people and segment them using a single link inside an email. The campaign builder is easy to work with and the visual layout makes it easy to understand what's going on.
Cons
It's not aimed at total beginners which is fine but worth noting.

“good for organizing lists”
Pros
The standout part for me is how simple it feels to use. It's really solid for building landing pages and organizing email lists with a drag and drop editor so setting things up doesn't feel complicated.
Cons
Pricing depends on how large your email list is which can get expensive. Also, there are other tools out there that cost less if you don't need every single feature.

“Quick setup for automations”
Pros
Everything feels really accessible. Navigation is clear and setting up what I need for one off emails and automations took very little effort. I can get campaigns running quickly without getting stuck figuring out the basics.
Cons
I haven't run into any real downsides so far. The only thing I'd change would be having more Offers available to help grow my list even faster.

Pros
It performs reliably and we haven't hit any major problems with it. Creating good looking emails isnt hard and it includes the usual core features you'd expect.

“strong automation for sales”
Pros
This platform really nails it by bringing together multiple useful features like task management, lead tracking and solid contacts management. The email campaign builder is especially impressive and the automation workflows make it feel built for sales and marketing teams. Overall, it's the kind of automation software that supports both outreach and follow ups without feeling scattered so it ends up being a go to for growth.
Cons

“budget friendly”
Pros
Very powerful and budget friendly and they keep rolling out useful updates. The platform is simple to work with and it gives really solid visibility into who's engaging with our messages. We've gotten a ton of value from how it tracks responses and activity and I'd absolutely recommend it.
Cons
Most of our usage is focused on email and automation so the CRM side doesn't get much attention from us. That's mainly a fit issue on our end rather than a problem with the tool itself. Even so, the email features by themselves have been a strong, cost effective setup for what we needed.

Pros
It is very user friendly and you only need minimal training to use it.
Cons

“unhelpful support team”
Pros
The platform is packed with rich functionality. It feels detailed and pretty deep, with a wide range of useful tools. It definitely comes across as powerful software and when it's used by the right team, it can be a real business advantage. I also appreciate how multi faceted it is especially when you're managing different kinds of leads and handling multiple client segments at the same time.
Cons
Using it came with some roadblocks that limited the overall experience. I'm not the most advanced user in this area but I still ran into a number of problems and didn't get much help from the customer service team. A good chunk of what I hit was tied to bugs and inconsistencies and the responses I received weren't timely or very helpful.

“Too many glitches”
Pros
Easy to use and we were able to load all our contacts without too much trouble. It includes a solid set of features, including tags, plus options to customize fields, notes and reminders and the reminders part worked really well.
Cons
Frequent glitches made it hard to rely on day to day. If we entered or updated a field, it often wouldn't save automatically and sometimes after saving a bunch of information the page would refresh and wipe everything out. That was genuinely frustrating. The platform also felt awkward to navigate because I kept having to jump back and forth between contacts, pipelines and different fields and nothing seemed to sync properly so finding details required clicking through multiple screens. Eventually it became more difficult than it was worth for the way we work.
