Quick inventory and pricing access

Pros

At this point I'm really excited for this to go live. I know I might be taking in a lot at once but I'm eager to see it all come together.

Cons

As someone working in outside sales I mainly need quick access to inventory and pricing. My customers usually care about two things only how much it costs and how fast they can get it.

Real-time reporting and dashboards

Pros

What helps my team the most is the reporting and dashboards. I use them to dig into data quickly, adjust goals and make faster decisions by creating and updating insights on the fly.

Cons

Looking at the construction edition of this tool I feel some features lag behind compared to other industries. From my perspective it often seems a few years behind the e-commerce and distribution versions.

Flexible medium-sized business tool

Pros

This tool works well for medium-sized businesses and I like that I can shape it around our specific needs. Having the option to host it on-prem is also a big plus for us.

Cons

With all the customization available I've noticed it's easy to overdo it. From my experience having a strong ERP developer, a capable admin, great documentation and close coordination with the VAR makes a big difference.

comprehensive reporting for growth

Pros

It took us about five months to get everything ready with just two people on our side. What stands out to me is the level of reporting we now have which goes far beyond what our old CRM/ERP ever offered and supports our growing needs much better.

Cons

At times I wish some fields were easier to adjust. From my side needing backend reporting or coding just to configure columns or required fields during quoting feels tough.

Pros

What I value most here is the flexibility and the ability to configure and customize things the way we want.

Cons

Our team has found that getting the most value often requires paid add-ons or extra customization. In my case that added both cost and complexity.

simple layout with strong flexibility

Pros

From my side flexibility is a major strength. I also appreciate the simple, clean layout, how easy it is to work with day to day and the Velixo reporting.

Cons

I'm hoping the customer and vendor balance transfer feature improves soon. From what I've seen some default reporting options still feel underwhelming.

small team ERP made easy

Pros

After a failed attempt with another ERP I was looking for something easier for a small team, reasonably priced and able to grow with us. This platform checked those boxes and pushed us to rethink workflows and clean up our processes. I also like being able to see everything the team is doing, from purchase orders to payments, without chasing updates. Working with the right VAR made a huge difference for us.

Cons

Using this tool I've seen many impressive features but quite a few require add-ons or extra fees. In my experience while some integrations caused issues early on switching to this tool's payment solution saved us money even though we lost some functionality and had to upgrade sooner than planned.

advanced ap/ar integration

Pros

Compared to what I used before this feels far ahead in terms of functionality. Having all AP and AR transactions in one place has made life easier and integrating with Acupay has helped us collect payments more efficiently.

Cons

From my perspective this tool was extremely hard to implement. I also struggled with support access as relying on expensive VAR help didn't fully resolve issues and tasks like time card imports and invoice template changes were especially frustrating.

Pros

One feature I rely on is the ability to create custom reports and track data at a very detailed level.

Cons

I've found that this system leaves very little room for error. For me it feels designed strictly for experienced professionals and not ideal for companies without an in-house certified accountant.

Improved controls with aP automation

Pros

What's helped our controls improve is the newer AP automation and workflow setup.

Cons

When selecting branches I wish I could see branch descriptions on every screen. From my workflow standpoint that would reduce confusion.

Pros

AP automation has been especially useful for me particularly the AI feature that turns PDF invoices from emails straight into bills.

Cons

At this point nothing stands out as a concern for me. I plan to review R2 and share any feedback directly with support.

Missing basic features, frustrating...

Pros

Speed has been great for me. Since it's cloud-based I can access it remotely and it's easy to adjust based on how our company works.

Cons

I've noticed that some basic features like entering credit card charges simply don't exist. In our case we had to build a workaround process which was frustrating given that the feature can't be added at all.

Highly customizable for all users

Pros

What I like is how customizable it is for both non-technical and advanced users. I can build reports, tweak workflows, add fields and adjust screens while advanced users can connect other systems through APIs without losing changes during upgrades.

Cons

So far I've only come across benefits while using this tool. From my experience it has met expectations without obvious downsides.

Pros

From my experience this cloud platform supports business planning and digital operations really well. I like how it connects different parts of the business and gives leadership clear visibility through financials and client interactions.

Cons

In my opinion the interface needs improvement. I feel performance would be better if unused fields could be hidden and the overall report design could be more polished.

reliable accounting but implementation costs can be high

Pros

Search works well for me and the screen layout feels thoughtfully designed. The accounting side has been reliable, stays current with rule changes and features like check printing and banking automation have met our needs. Our accounting team chose this after reviewing several options and they've been happy with it.

Cons

From my experience implementation costs can be high due to third-party consultants. I've also found that modifying existing reports isn't very easy.

simple system reduces clicks

Pros

Most of the time the system works the way I expect it to which made learning it much easier. I also appreciate that completing entries and analysis takes fewer clicks than other products I've used.

Cons

Like most ERP systems I've found the out-of-the-box financial reports hard to configure. For us integrating Excel solved that issue and made reporting much easier.

smooth month-end processing

Pros

This platform has made month-end much smoother for me by keeping everything in one place. I can easily switch between transactions without losing context which saves a lot of time.

Cons

While processing customer refunds I've noticed that the AR and AP modules don't communicate with each other. After entering a refund I still have to manually handle the check since it doesn't flow into AP automatically.

Pros

From my experience the system feels very user-friendly. Learning how to use it didn't take long which made adoption much easier.

Cons

Automation feels limited although I know we didn't roll out the entire ERP. That has affected how aligned things feel.
