One thing they do very well is customer support. Whenever I send an email I usually get a helpful and friendly response within 24 hours.

Cons

Using it feels extremely click heavy. Even after three years with the software it still doesn't feel user friendly and almost everything comes across as awkward to work through. I can usually figure out how to complete what I need and the support team is super helpful but compared with QuickBooks and Aplos, this really lags behind in usability and overall user experience. The window control is especially frustrating! You'll be working in one section of the register and then it suddenly shifts you somewhere else which means you're constantly scrolling back and forth.

Pros

This software helps us manage member contributions effectively and supports the progress of our church projects very well.

We haven't come across any drawbacks with this software and we would definitely recommend it to other users.

Handling check ins and maintaining the directory feels very organized with this software and it does a really good job of keeping everything in order.

A downside is that it doesn't seem to be very well known. I hadn't heard of it until my father mentioned it and I also think it should be a bit more accessible.

Keeping track of church members and visitors is pretty easy with this and I really appreciate how well the different modules work together and share information.

At one point this software felt very advanced. However it seems like it has leaned too much on its long standing position in the market and hasn't kept up with the improvements newer church database platforms now offer. That gap is ultimately why we recently moved away from it.

Made me feel good about the money spent because the product really comes across as a high quality window. Each one combines impressive durability with a beautiful look and the price still feels affordable. On top of that the full installation services are a big plus since they help get the best performance and long term lifespan out of the windows. Switching to this feels like a solid choice for a classic lasting look!

Biggest downside is that it has a fairly limited feature set for users. For instance it does not include media management, response management or more advanced community building tools.

Getting around the software feels very easy thanks to its user friendly design and well organized interface. It also includes a solid range of features built specifically for church organizations such as tracking individual member giving and generating custom reports when needed.

At times the software would run slowly or become unresponsive and reaching technical support was not always convenient.

Right now support has been incredibly frustrating. Since calling in January 2023 I have not even been able to leave a voicemail because of the "high call volume" message and this all seems tied to the disastrous December 2022 update. Over the past 16 days I have submitted 5 trouble tickets through the website and also emailed the team but no one from support has responded or called me back at the phone number I provided. The website says someone will return the call within ONE day but that has not happened. I am frantic trying to get accounting questions answered before next week's Board meeting and at this point I have no way to reach anyone. Maybe posting this will finally help!

Pros

Something that really works well is the variety of modules they provide which helps us keep track of everything on the financial side. The management section is put together nicely with plenty of upgrade options if we ever need them and it makes it simple to view activity on a daily, monthly and yearly basis. It also gives us a good way to stay connected with followers, donors and others who support our religious organization.

Cons

Reports can be a little glitchy at times. It's something we can work around but it's still frustrating when it happens.

Very easy to use and it really feels worth the money for what it offers. Pulling up previously stored information is simple and it does a really solid job of handling church administration.

A downside is that data can only be saved on Windows instead of in the cloud which is a bit discouraging. The cost can also be quite high for many churches in South Africa that operate on limited income so only a small number of churches may be able to afford this otherwise excellent software.

After we split our nonprofit activities from our church operations this software helped fix several of the problems that came with keeping everything under one umbrella. We used to manage initiatives and campaigns together but now we can customize events and run campaigns specifically for the church. That change has led to better engagement and an increase in donations.

Cons

It is useful because it includes pretty much everything needed to handle the business side of running a church. That said since our church is tied to a fully operational nonprofit we already had access to many of the same features in other software. Having everything centralized in one database is definitely convenient but we still haven't come across any standout tools that feel unique to this software or only available through it.

having the option for a one time payment is something I really appreciate. We do pay monthly for a few added services but it's reassuring to know that if we ever needed to scale back on those subscriptions we'd still have a fully functional product to manage the church's finances. Customer support has also been incredibly helpful whenever needed.

there's no mac support which does feel a bit restrictive since all of my design programs are on my macbook.

Pros

Covers everything we need to manage donations, track member information, coordinate volunteers, handle bookkeeping and run payroll in real time. It's also a big advantage that there's no subscription required. The customer support has been great as well.

Cons

The interface isn't very interactive and getting comfortable with the system takes time. It can be especially challenging for people who aren't very computer literate.
