“accurate giving records
Pros
One thing I really appreciate about it is how accurately it records church contributions. The personalized chart of accounts, layout and related setup options are also very useful and the program is very simple to work with overall.
Cons
The reporting could still use a bit of improvement. Also the way minus signs appear on the expenses side can be a little confusing.

“Really useful tools!
Pros
It handles our accounting, giving and database needs really well. The system is very simple to work with and anytime I need help or have a question the support team responds quickly and gets the issue taken care of right away.
Cons
One area where I still need help is using the software for our website. I honestly have no idea where to begin so a beginner friendly webinar like "Websites for Dummies" would be really helpful for someone like me.

“best value with helpful support
Pros
Compared with other full ChMS options this one offers the best value especially since it includes basic accounting without needing any third party software. The tech support team is very helpful and the webinars have been genuinely useful too.
Cons
The reporting engine is still very basic. There are also times when double entry accounting would be useful and the website tools are quite limited as well.

“affordable church toolkit
Pros
It's rare to come across software that feels this easy while still doing so much. It is thoughtfully built, packed with features, supported by an outstanding team and priced in a way that feels incredibly reasonable. We first signed up thinking we would only use it for our membership roll without realizing how much else was included. Since the cost was low we decided to give it a shot for a year. In less than two weeks we had completely moved over our membership records, accounting (from QuickBooks Online), giving, online donations and even got the Church Connect app up and running. Support has been one of the best parts. I've sent in quite a few questions and every reply has been fast and truly useful. The large youtube library has also been a major benefit not only for learning the basics of the system but also for finding new ways to use it in ministry.
Cons
Honestly the biggest disappointment is that we didn't discover this earlier. For years we were piecing things together with QuickBooks, spreadsheets for membership and a website that was hard to keep updated. Looking back that setup created extra work and probably caused us to miss some opportunities. If I were naming one actual limitation QuickBooks Online does provide more advanced and flexible reporting options. Even so the reports on this platform are still more than capable for most church needs and the benefits in simplicity, all in one integration and affordability easily outweigh that difference.

“helpful records for small churches
Pros
This platform has removed a big chunk of the paperwork from the secretary's workload. It's a really useful option for small churches that still need to maintain the same kinds of records as larger ones and it's very simple to use when tracking member attendance for all church functions.
Cons
Something I'm struggling with is logging visitor attendance at services. When a family is just visiting while away on a holiday trip I don't necessarily want to add all of their information into the main database.

“Excellent value
Pros
Delivers a lot for the price and that value has been one of its biggest strengths. The customer support has also been outstanding. Over time I've been able to replace several different programs and manage everything in one place instead. It's very user friendly and doesn't take long to learn. The reporting tools have been especially helpful from preparing tax returns to tracking where the ministry is headed. Member management has also been a real asset.
Cons
A limitation is the donation setup since members currently don't have more than one giving option. Besides Stripe it would be really helpful if this software also allowed links for contributions through CashApp, PayPal and Venmo.

Pros
Interface is user friendly, it's simple to use and correcting mistakes is very easy. Even without any previous experience using the software it didn't take long to learn.

One thing I'd like to see improved is the ability to add two lines to a customer's giving or pledging at once instead of having to enter them one line at a time.

“church focused tools!
Pros
Putting together a 5-star review for the software feels deserved because they handle so many things exceptionally well. The first thing that drew us in was that it was built specifically for churches. We originally began searching for nothing more than a replacement for our accounting software. This stood out right away because the subscription price (including the accounting tools we needed) was lower than many other accounting programs on the market. It delivered far more than accounting by including a very capable and strong church management system. Another big reason we chose this was the outstanding support they offer. Beyond regular phone support they provide webinars, youtube videos, online tutorials and a full online user guide. After watching a few of their presentations it became clear that their help goes well beyond basic software assistance. It really feels like they offer ministry guidance too almost as if you've brought in a consulting team to help your church operate in a more organized, effective and efficient way while also offering plenty of encouragement along the way.
Cons
We've been in the middle of transitioning to the software for about a month and up to this point we really haven't run into any negative issues. It takes some time to get used to at the beginning but it's hard to say what more they could realistically do to make that process go faster.

“Outstanding value
Pros
Compared with other church management tools in this price range this delivers far more value. A lot of competing products charge two or three times as much for the same core features. Their support team is the best I've worked with. Between the extensive online help articles, an expanding video library and support tickets that get answered almost right away, getting help has never been an issue. I've used this software for over five years and during that time they've kept updating and improving it while holding the price steady. It feels like the product keeps getting better without costing more.
Cons
Integrating Twilio was difficult and in the end I wish I had chosen a different route. That area still needs work and the same goes for the email campaign manager overall.

“powerful reports for church tracking
Pros
Built specifically with churches in mind it includes pretty much everything needed to keep up with what's going on in the church. The reporting tools are one of the best parts and the custom report feature is especially valuable.
Cons
Pricing feels a little high for a smaller church especially when not all of the features are being used. It would be better if it offered different versions of the database since we only use about half of what the full program includes.

“Affordable all in one church tools
Pros
Budget wise this has been a must have for our small church. It lets us handle giving, accounting, mass texts/emails and member records all in one place which helps us cover everything we need without overspending. The customer support is also better than what we've seen from other major software providers. Also the website and phone app options through Connect have been another huge cost saver for us.
Cons
The reports section can feel a little limited at times. I also wish the 2-factor authentication gave the option to use a separate voice number instead of relying only on the user's email/text setup. When my phone carrier had a nationwide outage for 24 hours I was completely locked out of logging in.

Pros
Everything about it feels very user friendly. The training videos are excellent and the staff has been incredibly helpful whenever questions come up. Even the Zoom call was a real blessing.

“Wonderfully practical
Pros
Right from the start it has been simple to work with and clearly built around the needs of churches. The pricing is based on church size which has been especially helpful for a smaller church like ours. Online giving connects automatically with this software and our Ministry Safe usage ties in as well. On the rare times we've needed assistance customer support has responded quickly and there are also helpful tutorial topics available on youtube. The updates have been genuinely useful and consistently make the platform even more user friendly. The reporting tools also make it very convenient to prepare financial reports and year end giving statements. Even though it currently includes more features than our church is using it's reassuring to know those tools are already there for us as we continue to grow.
Cons

“great church admin toolkit
Pros
It has been a great addition to our ministry. It's simple to pick up, well organized and full of features that truly make church administration more manageable. Whether it's tracking attendance, handling contributions, scheduling volunteers or keeping member records current it all works together really well. One of the biggest positives has been how user friendly everything feels. Our team was able to start using it quickly without feeling overloaded. The built in communication tools save a lot of time and the custom reporting options have given us better insight into how to support and serve our congregation. Support has been excellent too. Whenever we've needed help their team has replied promptly and with genuine care.

I even sent over an Excel file with our church membership details and they had it uploaded within two hours. Overall it has been an excellent experience.

“reliable membership
Pros
After using it for many years I can say it has been a very affordable and dependable option for us. The support team has been consistently helpful even when I have asked questions that probably seemed obvious. As the main person using it I've been able to manage our membership records and pledge giving without trouble. The reporting tools are easy and many times I've been able to pull up needed information very quickly. We also have not run into any problems with online giving and I feel completely confident keeping our information in the CT system. We just have not used the accounting module.
Cons
Not an issue of the software itself but mostly from our side: I have had a hard time getting more people to use the online application in any part of the system. Since many in our congregation are older technology is simply not something they naturally want to use. I need to keep looking for better ways to show them how useful the information in this could be for them and that continues to be an ongoing goal.

Pros
Back when I helped support a church we relied on this software to keep up with members and the church's work and it was genuinely useful for both the consultants and the leadership team. The access controls, security tools, communication options, banking transaction features and reporting all come together really well and the reports make the information much easier to understand. “clean layout!
Pros
It covers everything we need to manage our church's finances and membership records and then some. The layout is clean and easy, it's simple to work with and the support resources are excellent.
Cons
Very little I dislike about the software. If I could change one thing (and I've mentioned this to the developers a couple of times) it would be adding automation options for quarterly and semi annual tasks instead of only daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. Having to remember when to pause and restart automations for those quarterly and semi annual transactions just to avoid rebuilding them every time is hard to keep track of and easy to miss. When that happens reconciling the finances gets more complicated because the transactions in the software don't always line up with what's actually showing in the bank accounts.
