“powerful, automated and reliable!
Pros
I love how this tool uses automation to do the heavy work for us, for example it automatically creates a personalized experience for each customer, makes our marketing plans easier to manage and sends the right emails to the right people all by itself.
Cons
The user interface feels a bit old and is not the most user friendly but I cannot complain because it consistently delivers on my sales and marketing requirements.

“The BEST in the market!!
Pros
For managing leads and marketing automation, Marketo Engage is far more powerful and feature-rich than any other tool I have tried.
Cons
Just a heads-up, you have to be ready for a challenge. Companies get the best results from Marketo when they have a skilled Marketing Ops person to set it up and build the specific workflows they need.

“Effective for multi-channel engagement campaigns
Pros
It is really effective for running engagement campaigns across social media, email and our site. Also the platform is quick and our team learned how to use it rapidly.
Cons
Well it did not work seamlessly with our CRM which is built by a smaller developer, so we had to create some custom connections.

“Excellent automation tools!
Pros
The automation is my favorite part. It made handling my marketing duties so much easier.
Cons
In my opinion the interface could be designed in a more user-friendly way. But other than that it is perfect.

“Smarter email campaigns
Pros
Marketo Engage lets us create much smarter email campaigns that run on their own, saving us a lot of manual work. Its best features automatically figure out who our best potential customers are and group them together making sure our small team sends the right message to the right people at exactly the right time.
Cons
It is not the easiest platform for someone just starting out. As getting the smart campaigns and integrations running took me much longer than I expected and you almost need a technical background or special training to really leverage its full power.

“A compliant powerhouse for pharmaceutical marketing
Pros
It is perfect for my job in the pharmaceutical industry because it helps us follow all the strict advertising rules. It automatically identifies our best potential customers and groups them together which helps us connect with doctors and nurses more efficiently. It also shares this information directly with our sales team so they can follow up better.
Cons
The reporting features could be more straightforward, particularly for tracking engagement across multiple channels.

“intuitive for adobe users
Pros
Since I am already used to how Adobe designs their software, I found the platform user friendly and simple to navigate.
Cons
My feeling is that someone who is not already used to Adobe's software layout could find it a bit challenging at first.

“An excellent system for generating quality leads

“overly complex platform
Pros
The automated email system is really powerful for staying in touch with potential customers. If you keep your customer list well-organized, the system can automatically sort people into groups and send them the right messages at the right time which saves a lot of work.
Cons
When something goes wrong with the platform, you practically need an expert-level certification to diagnose the issue. Also the overall usability and built-in guidance are seriously lacking. This is the reason almost every client has to employ a full-time specialist to manage it. You either have years of hands-on knowledge or you will be investing a huge amount of time learning the ropes.

“Too many unneeded features
Pros
I like how adaptable this platform is, its email features operate without a hitch, designing landing pages is easy and assembling nurture campaigns has been remarkably simple.
Cons
It feels like there are too many features relative to what we need day-to-day and setting everything up correctly drags on forever.

“Event tools work great
Pros
I have been running our B2B campaigns on this platform and it's worked really well for me, particularly because the event management tools and the A/B testing options have helped refine our marketing performance.
Cons
Originally, I found the interface needed some work but they've updated it since and now I honestly don't have any complaints.

“Helps businesses understand customer behavior
Pros
Marketo Engage helps businesses understand their customers behavior and create better marketing strategies.
Cons
One of the main disadvantages is its difficult learning process. The sheer number of tools and options can be intimidating for beginners. Mastering its more complex functions demands a significant time investment and effort.

“One hub for all my marketing
Pros
From one central hub, I can plan, execute and monitor my marketing campaigns, which makes handling omnichannel activities far more truly aligned and organized.
Cons
Every now and then the dynamic chat suggestions miss the mark and propose tools that don't actually relate to the task I'm working on.

“Easy and flexible
Pros
I picked up Marketo without much trouble and I love how adaptable it is for setting up automated email campaigns. Its marketing workflows and task features are hands-on enough that everyone on our team can learn them pretty quickly.
Cons
the ongoing subscription fees are quite high and getting comfortable with the user interface can be confusing when you're new to the platform.

“Excellent for visual content
Pros
For our design team, it's a powerful tool for creating beautiful, targeted email campaigns. It integrates smoothly with our design software, includes robust automation and provides clear performance analytics, which is perfect for producing high-impact visual content.
Cons
The flip side is that its marketing-centric nature can be overwhelming for designers. Managing complex workflows, data, and technical integrations often pulls us away from pure design work. The interface isn't the most intuitive for newcomers, creating a steep learning curve for those not already versed in marketing platforms.
