Convenient tool for managing inventory

Pros

Managing inventory and assets with it has been very convenient and the platform is simple to use. Its integration with other tools also works well which makes daily tasks much more efficient.

Cons

Compared with some other options, it falls behind a bit in terms of sales and marketing performance for more advanced needs. It would also be better if the system were simplified further.

Fast reporting

Pros

Right away, the simple UX made it possible to handle every task I needed without any trouble. It was also quick to organize all client data and generate analytics reports.

Cons

Customer support has been disappointing. They didn't meet expectations and weren't able to resolve one issue in a timely manner.

Having all of our customers' history in one place has been really helpful and makes it much easier to keep track of past interactions.

Simple design

Pros

Everything can be arranged in a very systematic way and the design stays simple without feeling overly complicated.

Cons

It does crash from time to time especially when the system is running on lower-end hardware.

Works for businesses of all sizes

Pros

It's highly customizable and works well for both large and small businesses. I also really appreciate the API options.

Cons

I do think the Plus package is expensive. It would also be better if there were a free option for "access-only" users.

Comes with so many benefits

Pros

Running a retail business with it has been a big help because it comes with a wide range of features that fit many business needs. The lead management tools have been especially valuable and I also rely a lot on the built-in tasks, email and meeting features. During the COVID lockdown, this software became even more important since I no longer had regular daily access to my employees like before. It allowed me to stay connected with staff members who were logged into the app/software. It's honestly difficult to choose just one favorite part because it's so versatile and supports many different areas of my work but if I had to pick, lead management is absolutely essential for a retail business.

Cons

I haven't had much luck when it comes to integrating it with other apps or software. On top of that, certain features sometimes cause my device to freeze up.

Quick setup and fast adoption

Pros

Getting started with the software is very simple. Installation is simple, the core features are easy to use and it takes very little training before users can begin entering data and working in it right away.

Cons

The way contacts and leads are defined feels reversed. In Zoho, a contact is treated like a prospect, while a lead is only a name which is the opposite of how most other CRMs handle those terms. That makes it confusing for anyone who has used a CRM before especially since the very basic training does not really explain it. The training itself is quite limited and getting anything more in-depth can be expensive.

Economical and capable

Pros

Compared with Salesforce or SAP, the pricing is far more economical and doesn't demand the kind of heavy financial investment those platforms usually do. On top of that, Salesforce often needs expert manpower to manage and fine-tune it for an organization's specific needs, while Zoho is much less demanding in that regard.

Cons

Having worked as a Salesforce developer and also being a certified Salesforce coach, I'd say Zoho does its job extremely well overall. The only real drawback is that the community around Salesforce is much stronger than the developer community behind Zoho and that's one area where it needs more attention. Other than that, it feels nearly perfect.

Comes at an affordable price

Pros

For a growing organization, this software has been really valuable. It supports sales and marketing well, helps with customer support, manages email efficiently and makes timely follow-ups much easier, all at an affordable price.

Cons

The process of adding new customers could be a bit simpler.

Everyone can understand it quickly

Pros

Back at my previous company, Metro Brands Ltd, we used Zoho for nearly five years and it always felt very user-friendly. The interface looks really good and is simple enough that new employees can understand it quickly and start working without much training. We relied on it across internal departments as well as for customer support and from a CRM perspective, the auto follow-up reminder feature is the one that stands out most to me.

Cons

There were slight lagging issues in certain instances.

Doesn’t take long to figure it out

Pros

Right from the start, the interface feels simple and it doesn't take long to figure out where everything is. Getting around the software is simple and it's quick to start using without much effort.

Cons

if the software doesn't meet your needs right out of the box, there are only a handful of built-in options to work with. If those don't cover what you need, you may end up requiring custom development and in some situations that may not even be possible. It would be better if there were more customization options included by default.

Keeps my business moving

Pros

Everything worked really well overall especially how quickly it connected with our previous CRM and let us keep business moving without any disruption.

Cons

I would have liked stronger mobile compatibility especially considering how much our core business depends on it.

Top choice for customer satisfaction

Pros

Compared with the other software tools I use every day, this one stands out the most for customer satisfaction. It has also helped me attract new customers and keep existing ones without much trouble. For this kind of work, it really feels like the right direction to take. On top of that, it's user-friendly and simple to understand and use.

Cons

I honestly don't have any complaints about it. It stays focused on exactly what it is meant to do.

Clean visual design

Pros

The best thing about this CRM for me was its design and the SDKs it offers. They gave me the flexibility to work the way I needed and automate tasks properly. It also includes all the core functionality you'd expect like sales, inventory, forecasting, reporting and automation and the cleaner visual design makes it much more comfortable to use throughout the day.

Cons

It could really use more learning resources to help users understand the platform better and make full use of everything it offers.

Oversimplified tools and absent support

Pros

The biggest advantage is definitely the wide range of tools, even though that also turns into a downside at the same time. You can get started quickly and, in theory, you'll find almost everything online that you need for marketing. For the overall scope, it's undeniably inexpensive. At the same time, the lower price really shows in the performance. A lot can be customized or built in yourself if something is missing but that either takes a lot of time or enough budget to have someone do it for you.

Cons

A lot of the tools feel oversimplified and important settings are missing. Interfaces don't work properly and when I asked about it, there was no response. Only after checking with the other side of the integration did I find out that Zoho hadn't paid the API invoice for months so the API had been deactivated. That was the moment I decided to leave. Even after two weeks, there was still absolutely no reply from their so-called customer service about it. Many of the tools still feel like they're in their early stages and you should expect to spend time reporting bugs. Tools that have been installed can't be disabled again which creates a huge mess after the first round of testing. Even support had no way to remove unnecessary tools from the app overview.

Huge collection of business tools

Pros

Having everything under one roof is what I appreciated most about Zoho One. It's a huge collection of business tools that covers just about everything: website building, CRM social media, contracts and more. The idea that all of those apps can share information with each other and keep the business aligned is a big advantage. Support also replied quickly whenever I reached out although the solution they kept offering was to schedule a live call which wasn't always practical for me.

Cons

The biggest challenge was how overwhelming the platform felt. Getting everything configured was difficult and I'm still not confident I ever set it up the right way. I even considered bringing in a professional for help but that would have meant paying for another subscription on top of their service fees. Honestly, it may just be that this software requires more expertise than I have.

Plenty of useful features

Pros

It handles most of the organization's management needs when it comes to CRM work and even social performance. There are plenty of useful features in it and contact management is one of the parts I appreciated most. It makes employee information quick to access which helps a lot with communication and getting tasks done faster.

Cons

It comes with enough features and lightweight tools but it does miss a few meeting-related functions and the network can be unstable at times. That said, the support team was very responsive and helpful whenever those issues came up.
