“Excellent free start for startups”
Pros
You can begin with a free account and really take your time exploring everything during the first 30 days. After that, you can still continue using it with some limitations which makes it a very solid option for startups. What makes it stand out to me is that it's the only CRM I know that gives you five free email accounts with your own custom domain, plus the ability to manage up to 5,000 contacts which is more than enough for an early-stage business. Their support is also among the best in my opinion since they give personal attention to each case and are willing to help even if you're completely new to CRMs. On top of that, Zoho connects with Zapier which is excellent for workflow automation and can really improve your lead generation process.
Cons
I haven't run into any real downsides with it. If I had to mention something, it would be that workflow automation isn't available for testing on the free account once the trial period ends. Even so, I don't think that limitation will have much impact on most users.

“Helpful reporting and teamwork”
Pros
Task management, charts and reporting and team collaboration have all been very useful. I've only run into a few minor challenges while using the software and fitting it into our existing business process was fairly simple without being too difficult.
Cons
There is a lack of customization options. The software also feels a bit complex at times since it can take too many steps to complete a simple task. Also although the integration with our existing business process was manageable, it wasn't especially smooth either.

“An upgrade from traditional spreadsheets”
Pros
A noticeable upgrade from traditional spreadsheets, with strong user management features and very capable third-party integrations. If you're thinking about moving beyond spreadsheets, the free version is worth trying. It has its limits but it still gives a good sense of what the platform can do.
Cons
The interface could use a refresh to feel more modern and pleasant to work with. Support is also slow when it comes to handling and resolving tickets and automation is lacking especially when syncing data across other Zoho platforms.

“Provides a 30-day free trial”
Pros
After using it for my business over the last 6 months, I can honestly say it has made managing my sales pipeline much better. One of the biggest advantages of Zoho CRM is how affordable it is and the 30-day free trial was really helpful for testing everything before committing. It's a really solid CRM platform that lets me handle sales, marketing and customer support all in one place. I also really appreciate being able to create reminders, tasks, quotes and even email templates within the system.
Cons
Setting up and customizing the software is not very simple and that has definitely been a downside.

“Connects with Zoho apps”
Pros
After a bit of initial training, it becomes very easy to use and that's when the value really starts to show. Once you understand how it works, the integration between the CRM and the other Zoho apps becomes a big advantage.
Cons
The CRM on its own feels fairly basic but when you connect it with the other Zoho One apps, it turns into a much more complete and capable piece of software.

“Anyone can use it”
Pros
Getting started with this CRM is very simple and even people with limited knowledge of other CRM tools can use it comfortably and effectively.
Cons
Overall, everything works well but searching for a product can sometimes take a while especially when trying to find an exact match. Aside from that, it's a highly recommendable tool.

“Fantastic email sync and reporting”
Pros
Right away, it's email sync felt outstanding, honestly the best I've seen across the CRM tools I've used. Connecting it with Zapier was simple and the reporting is excellent too, with a level of customization that usually reminds me of what you'd expect from Power BI.
Cons
Pricing is really the catch. Even though the Zoho ecosystem includes just about everything a team could need, the downside is that each product comes with its own separate subscription and those extra costs can add up fast.

“Clear menus”
Pros
Getting comfortable with it took very little time compared with the many CRMs I've used over the years. It's one of the simplest platforms to learn and a big reason is the excellent interface. The menus are clear, simple and each area of the system is laid out in a way that makes sense.
Cons
Support is the part that still needs improvement. We've sent in helpdesk tickets and sometimes waited several days without a response and calling their phone line hasn't been much better. That's frustrating especially since customer service is presented as one of their strong points.

“Powerful zoho integrations”
Pros

“Awesome at capturing leads”
Pros
it brings sales and marketing teams together to capture leads and turn them into successful customers. It also connects marketing, sales and post-sales tools in one place which really helps keep customer data accurate and organized. Another major plus is the flexibility with integrations. Zoho CRM can connect with third-party APIs and tools through custom code directly inside the platform and it also works with connectors like Zapier, Make, Integrately and Pabbly Connect. Not every Zoho product feels simple at first but with a bit of effort I was able to figure things out thanks to Zoho Academy and the strong user community around each application. Connecting it with our existing business setup was challenging in the beginning but having a capable team made the implementation manageable. One suggestion I'd still make is for Zoho to share more industry-specific case studies because that would make it easier to understand how different businesses are using it successfully and help us expand our own use of the platform.
Cons
Overall refresh speed can be better. If that gets faster, it could save a lot of time and ultimately help us generate more revenue. Custom coding and Blueprint can also be a bit difficult to work with although aside from that, everything else has been good. Overall, the integration process itself was not tough for us with Zoho CRM.

“Calendar needs more flexibility”
Pros
I really appreciate the holiday booking tool. It shows my available days across the whole year which makes it much easier to plan and spread my leave properly from month to month. Zoho Cliq is another standout for me, the chat app is quick, clean-looking and has a functional layout that makes it pleasant to use.
Cons
The calendar still feels pretty limited and could definitely be better. There's quite a bit you can't do with it right now. I really want to be able to view my overdue tasks without having to open each one individually. If those tasks showed up directly on the calendar and I could just drag and drop them from one day to another, it would save a lot of time. More display options would also help a lot. At minimum, having a morning and afternoon split for each day would make it easier to organize tasks and being able to color-code tasks so they appear that way on the calendar would make the week much easier to visualize.

“Shared contacts in one place”
Pros
Having email management and contacts together in one program means there's no need to pay for or purchase another tool. It's also really useful that the organization can use a shared address book since employees are able to add or update contacts when needed.
Cons
Getting around the system can be a little complicated at times.
