“quiet protection that delivers”
Pros
Very dependable when it comes to detecting threats and it runs quietly in the background and works very fast. The program is so lightweight that you barely notice it's there but when something does go wrong it steps in and helps remove the problem.
Cons
The malware detection still has some room for improvement. It also feels a little overpriced especially for businesses.

“Scalable portal and reports”
Pros
The platform scales well and the portal is straightforward to navigate. It puts a lot of valuable information and reports right at my fingertips.
Cons
Admittedly getting everything configured at the beginning was a little confusing but once it was all set up it became pretty much hands-off.

“Clean interface with real support”
Pros
Getting started was simple, the support team has been helpful and there are no annoying pop-up notifications getting in the way.
Cons
Honestly, I can't point to any real downside. It works very reliably and does what it's supposed to do.

“fast help steady defense”
Pros
After using all kinds of security tools over the past 10+ years, from antivirus programs to firewalls and basic malicious threat detection, ESET has done a better job than any of the others I've used. It has caught more problems and provided faster fixes than other security software I've dealt with. Their products have given me peace of mind in both my personal and business use and the support team has been dependable whenever I've reached out by phone or email about potential issues.
Cons
There's honestly not much negative I can say about ESET. The only real downside is the pricing and the support for server software feels very different from the support for home products. It seems like they operate through completely separate support centers which is understandable to a point but it also feels a little concerning because it can come across as biased.

“covers the basics”
Pros
Basic security features come with it which is useful for covering the essentials.
Cons
At the same time, it operates in such a niche space that pretty much any similar program could do the same job.

“blocks malware without fuss”
Pros
It blocks a lot of malware-related sites, stops malware pop-ups and keeps the computer running without any noticeable slowdown.
Cons
Setup is almost plug-and-play and it doesn't ask for any strange permissions.

“a trusted choice for me personally”
Pros
This brand has been around for years and I've basically grown professionally with it. It's user-friendly, reliable and already tested and proven over time.
Cons
Pricing might be the only downside but it's still acceptable. Ultimately you're paying for something that's worth it.

“Covers our whole network”
Pros
Across our company, we rely on Eset to protect every part of the network, our computers and the rest of our systems and it has been very useful for us.
Cons
Up to this point, I haven't come across anything negative during the time we've been using it.

Pros
Honestly, there isn't much about it that I enjoy aside from the security aspect.
Cons
The biggest issue is that the customer support is really poor.

“light defense with useful updates”
Pros
I've used this program for years and one thing I really appreciate is that it runs without weighing the system down while still continuing to add new features.
Cons
Right now, it feels stuck somewhere between a traditional antivirus and full EDR technology and at this point it really needs to evolve into a true EDR solution.

“Deep reports that cover everything”
Pros
The huge variety of detailed reports is one of the biggest strengths for me and I'm a big fan of reporting. Plenty of insight to work with is what it gives me. The remote management tools are something I also really appreciate because they're simple to use and let me monitor everything from a distance. Having plugin-free phishing protection is a nice bonus on top of that.
Cons
The interface feels a bit sluggish at times and it can come across as more complex than it needs to be.

“broad endpoint coverage”
Pros
Companies get a reliable way to protect both the business and its employees. It also lets you build an architecture around endpoint management and security. Another big plus is that the protected devices can run across multiple platforms which is especially useful for software companies that also need to secure their test devices.
Cons
Cost-wise it is a little on the expensive side so it makes more sense for larger companies with a bigger number of endpoint devices. Demands can also lead to performance issues on endpoints that have high performance demands.

“built for enterprise teams”
Pros
Getting started with it is straightforward and putting it into place doesn't take much effort. Over the past two years, it has improved a lot which has made it a much better fit for enterprise environments.
Cons
It's still missing a few capabilities that some competing products already offer especially full integration with other security tools such as firewalls and network security devices.

“simple friendly protection”
Pros
One thing that really stands out about ESET is how simple it is to use. The straightforward design makes everything feel very user-friendly and easy to navigate.
Cons
ESET security can be a bit slow to load at times but aside from that, I really haven't run into any problems while using it.

“light defense and a simple setup”
Pros
Getting ESET up and running was very straightforward and keeping it maintained has been just as simple. The online portal also makes it really efficient to remove old devices which helps prevent wasting or overusing licenses.
Cons
Honestly, there's nothing we dislike about ESET. Unlike the endpoint product we used before, it doesn't slow our systems down at all.

“good detection and a strong performance”
Pros
There are plenty of direct competitors to ESET on the market but during my free trial--which will most likely turn into a purchase--I came across an impressive antimalware solution that genuinely surprised me. Its overall responsiveness and the strength of its detection engine are easily the biggest highlights for me.
Cons
If I had to point out one downside, it would be that the graphical interface feels a bit too minimalistic for my taste especially when compared with some of its competitors.

“missing DLP!”
Pros
Nearly everything I need comes with it including web filtering mail filtering device control and a firewall and the antivirus engine is reliable and powerful.
Cons
It is missing some advanced features such as DLP. Aside from that, it still feels like a worthwhile purchase.

“Amazing performance!”
Pros
ESET Endpoint Security has basically become my definition of security. I've been using their products for years and have never run into any real problems. It's lightweight, doesn't slow the system down and still delivers a very powerful level of protection. I've tested and retested it in different environments and it has consistently proven itself to be a truly strong antivirus. I don't even use third-party firewalls because ESET already handles that job well enough on its own.
Cons
Notably the part that still needs improvement is device control. Whenever it starts scanning a 1TB external SSD it blocks access to the USB device until the scan is completely finished.
