“Well-integrated and reliable”
Pros
There are so many features packed into a modern yet easy to understand design. Plus I really like how everything is organized and how seamlessly it integrates with other Adobe products.
Cons
Well I would prefer a simpler way to apply effects to an audio file.

“High-performance audio software”
Pros
Audition is a powerful audio editing software that is pretty easy to use after a little bit of learning. I especially like the features that enhance audio quality which is highly useful when creating podcasts. Even the timeline is very clear and makes it easy for me to edit longer audio tracks.
Cons
The costs are relatively high and I would love to see more AI-powered features. Adobe already offers a helpful web tool called Adobe Podcast to improve podcast audio quality. So I feel like it would be great if they integrated this tool directly into Audition as it would simplify some tasks.

“Full-featured audio editing tool”
Pros
Adobe Audition has a powerful audio editing engine that even integrates with video workflows for editing audio in videos. However it should not be considered a full DAW since it lacks MIDI management. But Adobe does not aim for it to be one. As an editing tool it is incredibly powerful allowing multi-track audio recording, mono and stereo channel management, third-party plugin use and various built-in signal processors. Also it lets you edit a single stereo channel separately, which no DAW I know can do. The spectrum analyzer is also top notch with multiple display modes and it has everything you need for mixing and mastering audio.
Cons
I first started using Audition 14 years ago thinking of it as a DAW software. And back then the lack of MIDI support seemed like the biggest shortcoming.
