Creating projects is really easy with the variety of templates available and the interface is very user friendly. The customer support has also been very helpful and the features are easy to use.

From time to time, it would be nice to have a few more advanced editing options, although the simplicity of�the platform�is also one of its biggest strengths.

With Powtoon, creating videos and quick training materials is very easy and it also connects well with my other tools which helps simplify my overall workflow.

One downside is that tokens are used for every major video change. It would also be helpful to have a draft option for text-to-speech, since some additional edits come with small token charges too.

The Premium plan gives me access to a really broad collection of videos, images and templates, so I usually have plenty of material to build most projects. When the library doesn't quite have what I need, the AI image generator and the option to bring in visuals from PowerPoint make it possible to create almost anything I have in mind. Editing is also very fluid as changing slide content, adjusting timing and fine-tuning the pacing of visuals is fast and easy. On top of that, customer support has been excellent whenever I run into an issue the team replies quickly and is genuinely helpful.

Cons

One weak spot is the help library, since finding articles on specific topics can be inconsistent and the tutorial I need is not always easy to track down. Some features also take longer to figure out because their functionality isn't immediately obvious. Character customization works well enough but it doesn't go as far as I'd want especially for more ambitious ideas like creatures or historical clothing. I'd also like more flexibility and control over audio editing. The Props library could use more depth too, particularly when I am looking for niche or specialized visual elements.

Creating polished, visually engaging videos with Powtoon is very approachable, even without advanced design experience. The ready-made templates and animations cut down the time it takes to build something professional, while still leaving me room to customize the final result.

Customization can feel a bit restrictive At times especially when you want to make something more distinctive or closely aligned with specific branding beyond what the built-in templates allow.

The quality of the content I can make with Powtoon is really good. It's simple to work with and the progress bar along the bottom makes it convenient to control exactly when elements show up and disappear.

Pricing is the biggest downside. It feels too expensive and considering how much it costs, it's frustrating that some videos and audio still come with watermarks. I'd also love to see more variety in the library, plus a better way to switch between poses within the character animations.

There are lots of different styles to work with and most of the platform is pretty simple to use. The new AI voiceovers also sound very professional and really improve the overall quality.
