Riverside Features
Local Recording for All Participants
The platform records audio and video directly on each participant’s device instead of relying only on internet streaming. This method ensures that even if a participant experiences an unstable or slow internet connection, the recorded files maintain high-quality clarity. By capturing locally, Riverside helps avoid common problems such as lag, pixelation, or audio dropouts during remote sessions.
Separate Audio & Video Tracks
Riverside saves each participant’s audio and video as separate tracks, providing greater control during post-production. Editors can adjust audio levels, remove background noise, or replace video backgrounds independently without affecting other tracks. This separation makes it easier to create a polished final product by refining each element individually.
Automatic Cloud Backup
Riverside also uploads all audio and video files to the cloud in real time while recording locally. This dual recording method ensures that recordings are securely backed up and available immediately after the session ends. It also protects against data loss if a participant’s device crashes, disconnects, or encounters technical difficulties during the recording process.
Magic Clips (AI-Powered Highlights)
Riverside uses artificial intelligence to analyze recordings and automatically create short highlight clips. These clips capture memorable moments such as laughter, important insights, or engaging conversations without requiring manual editing. Users can customize these clips with captions, layouts, and branding elements to create shareable content for social media or marketing purposes.
Livestreaming to Multiple Platforms
Riverside allows users to broadcast live sessions simultaneously to multiple platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, and LinkedIn. The platform also supports custom RTMP streaming, allowing for seamless integration with other streaming services or websites. This multi-platform broadcasting enables content creators and businesses to reach diverse audiences in real time without the need for additional software or complex setups.

“Just fine as support is nowhere to be found”
Pros
When it is running well this tool saves me a lot of editing time. What used to take hours to do by hand now gets done in just minutes.
Cons
Dealing with support has been a frustrating experience. Anytime I hit a problem the replies feel like they are just blaming the user like it's always our fault which can feel pretty dismissive especially when it clearly is not a user error.

“Mainly useful for large-scale users”
Pros
Both the video and audio turn out really clear which makes all our recording feel more professional.
Cons
Their pricing setup makes it hard to scale. Also the basic plans feel too limited to me mainly for anyone beyond small creators while the business plans are clearly built for large teams as there is no solid middle option for growing users.
