“Efficient payment platform worth the cost”
Pros
For online card purchases it is a very capable and practical platform. It's very simple to use for me and offers top notch quality overall.
Cons
It's a very good option for e-commerce sellers although it feels a bit expensive for me. Even so, it's one of the best and I would still recommend it.

“excellent customer support”
Pros
Whenever I've needed help, customer support has been excellent and gets everything sorted out very quickly.
Cons
Not much to complain about here. If anything, the base pricing could come with a few more features but aside from that, it's been excellent.

“disappointing experience”
Pros
Back in 2012, I had a BigCommerce site that I genuinely loved. We stepped away from the platform for a period and returned near the end of 2017. Things went fairly well for a while after coming back. It also referred me to a developer to build our site. They charged us $40,000 for a fully custom site but it was set up so only they could work on it which kept us tied to them for another $3,000 to $4,000 per month. That situation ended up being a notable part of my overall experience with them.
Cons
I was often treated like I didn't understand anything. On top of that, changes were made to the platform without notifying users and those changes repeatedly cost my company money. For how basic the platform is, the pricing is far too high.

“manages everything for me”
Pros
Not having to manage and maintain my own website servers anymore the way I did when I was running my own platform has been a real relief.
Cons
Biggest frustration has been the lack of transparency around pricing. I was overbilled for several months in a row and when I contacted support about it, it took them three weeks to get back to me. Their explanation was that the system automatically increases pricing when my sales revenue rises but it does not reduce it again when revenue drops. That means I have to monitor my billing very closely and notify them myself when I qualify for a lower pricing tier. If I don't, they keep charging me at the higher tier even though their own billing page shows that I should be paying much less.

“Quick product entry”
Pros
Adding products into the system is quick for me and the whole setup takes very little time.
Cons
There's no database access available, not even read-only. If that were provided, we'd be able to build several reports that we currently can't access.

“better than Shopify”
Pros
Managing products is simple, there are lots of payment gateway options and the theme store is fairly decent. It also handles our product options and variants better than Shopify which is a big plus. On top of that, it comes with some useful B2B and wholesale features built in which saves extra setup.
Cons
The themes feel very packed and come with far too many files. You also can't edit CSS or JS directly online which turns changes that would be simple on other platforms into something much more time-consuming. On top of that, indexing delays and caching problems happen often enough that updates or newly added products can take 30 minutes or more to appear on the site. The main navigation is automated as well so if you want to customize your menu, you're stuck either hard-coding it or relying on an app. Stencil CLI is hit or miss too it either works well for theme editing or sends you into hours of compatibility troubleshooting. Another frustration is that there's no simple in-store way to locate orphan pages.

“efficient platform for us”
Pros
It's a really strong platform that can be developed into a full-scale e-commerce machine.

It does have a few issues and if you don't know about them ahead of time, it's easy to get confused or end up needing to bring in experts.

“no hidden charges”
Pros
Running a headless ecommerce setup with this has been really easy and I appreciate that there are no hidden fees. Getting everything up and running was very simple.
Cons
Only issue is that it's a paid service. Having a free version would make it more practical for people who may not use it every month but still want access when they need it next.

“outstanding bulk discounts”
Pros
Range of discount options is something that stands out. Bulk discounts, cart-level discounts and coupon codes are all well supported and it's also a big plus that there are no product limits.
Cons
Weaker side is the design and feature flexibility. The free themes are quite limited, the page builder widgets don't support custom typefaces and there's no shipping discount option on any plan. It also doesn't allow smart product rules to automatically categorize inventory and the built-in blog doesn't support RSS feeds.

“needs improvement”
Pros
Coming into this project, I hadn't worked with them before. A new retail client was already committed to it and had put a lot of time and effort into the platform so the plan was to keep building on it. I was a little hesitant at the beginning but it didn't take long to see that the platform is very capable and more than enough for nearly any ecommerce build. The inventory management features stood out in a good way and adding new SKUs into the build was much easier than I expected.
Cons
Parts of the backend seemed like they could have been thought through a little better. I often ran into workflows where I had to click through several different fields just to enter or manage product information. It may not sound like a big deal at first but when you're dealing with SKU lists containing several hundred products, all of those extra clicks really start to add up.

“connects well with other softwares”
Pros
The software has been very simple to work with and it connects well with a lot of other software that small businesses already use. My website also looks really polished and professional.
Cons
I really haven't run into any problems with it. The only thing that came up was my payment provider, Square, losing sync with the site about every 30 days but that issue has already been fixed.

“polished dashboard”
Pros
Running my business on it has been exactly what I needed. The dashboard is excellent and I really appreciate how simple it is to upload inventory and keep stock organized. The speed and flexibility built into the platform have done a lot to support and protect my product sales and that has left me completely satisfied. Being able to operate my online store professionally and without feeling limited honestly feels like a dream come true.
Cons
Now and then, a few features do not work the way they should. There have been times when I could not get into the apps on the back end and some newly updated features have not worked with my setup because I have been on an older version of this platform for years.

“best inventory dashboard for ecommerce”
Pros
I really enjoy this platform's dashboard and how simple it is to upload products and manage inventory. I'm also very happy with its speed which helps increase sales of my products without limits and it lets me oversee my e-commerce activities in a very professional way. It has been the best fit for my business.
Cons
Haven't come across another platform as exceptional as this one. It feels brilliant to use, very user-friendly and I haven't run into any drawbacks. There's really nothing to dislike here especially with the quality of its options and features.
