“perfect fit for me”
Pros
Running my e commerce here has been a really positive experience. The platform feels very user friendly and the interface is accessible enough that getting things done never feels confusing. Whenever an issue comes up, customer support is there and helpful across a wide range of topics. I've used it for my own online store and I'd definitely choose this again without hesitation.
Cons
I honestly don't have any real complaints because my experience with it has been very positive overall. If I had to point out something it would be that some apps and pricing plans can get a bit expensive but aside from that, it has been excellent.

“mobile friendly storefront setup”
Pros
Getting an online store up and running is pretty easy and the platform is user friendly overall. It works reliably including on mobile which makes managing and shopping through the site convenient.
Cons
A problem is that Shopify's SEO support feels very limited so you'll likely need to put a lot of effort into marketing your store yourself if you want to drive traffic.

“I like the collaboration tools”
Pros
With its collaboration features, running campaigns is much more manageable. I can recruit influencers, send them multiple products and keep track of the sales they generate all in one place!
Cons
The downside is that the free themes feel pretty basic so I ended up paying for several premium ones. Even if it's a one time expense, it still feels necessary for something that presents itself as free.

“impressive!!”
Pros
Two parts of it stand out the most to me: its analytics tools and the wide variety of plugin apps available. The reporting features are really useful and having access to so many apps makes it much easier to extend the platform based on what I need.
Cons
I'd still like to see more flexibility when it comes to customizing the analytics. Other than that the platform feels a little expensive.

“I think it's decent”
Pros
Right from the start the interface feels polished and modern and it keeps getting updated. Getting everything up and running is easy too since all it takes is creating an account to set up quickly.
Cons
Support for customers and users is fairly limited and the FAQs can be a bit confusing or even misleading at times. However there are plenty of videos available online that can help fill in the gaps.

“Amazing platform”
Pros
After spending the last 3.5 years on the plus version, coming from a role where I used Square, the difference has been pretty clear. This feels like the Rolls Royce of e commerce platforms. It connects with just about everything, the app store is incredibly effective and the platform itself is very user friendly. On top of that support is available around the clock and has consistently been helpful whenever needed.
Cons
Most of the reporting is really strong but certain data points and reports can still be tricky to pull together. For instance, when I needed site traffic information, Shopify support directed me to use Google Analytics instead of relying on Shopify's native reporting.

“useful integrations, tax headaches”
Pros
It works with a wide range of ordering platforms which makes it a practical option for most of our clients' customized online stores.
Cons
It doesn't connect with our SAP Business One accounting system so reconciling transactions ends up being a manual and frustrating process. We've also run into challenges when dealing with multiple state taxes.

“Even has helpful tutorials”
Pros
Working with it is easy and the drag and drop website builder makes the whole setup process simple. It also includes useful tutorials that walk you through designing different types of websites which makes it easier to build what you need.
Cons
The pricing feels a bit expensive if sales don't come in right away and the SEO features could be better. I'm also not a fan of some of the lower-cost apps they promote since a few of them don't work very well.

“free templates available”
Pros
There's a reason it is so highly regarded. The platform is a pleasure to work with thanks to how accessible it is, the wide range of features and the endless selection of free templates.
Cons
Honestly I don't really have any complaints. It's an extremely user friendly tool and it makes running a website feel effortless.

“more brand deals and visibility”
Pros
Being a creator, I receive plenty of opportunities to collaborate with brands and it helps boost my online visibility. Connecting with brands is also easy.
Cons
At times getting matched with brands and approved can take quite a while which is a little frustrating and can end up being time consuming.

“packed with features”
Pros
Everything feels very well organized and each section of the website clearly serves a purpose. It really feels like good value for the money because of the amount of support and the range of features included in the platform.
Cons
The cost is the downside. Paying $12 just to pause and build feels a little expensive and it would make more sense for business owners if that price were cut in half.

“We have a commerce winner!”
Pros
Running a store with it has been a really positive experience because it brings everything together in one commerce platform. The product customization options are excellent and the interface is very user friendly. Setting everything up is easy and it also works well with third party integrations. Other than that the pricing is affordable and the customer support has been reliable and high quality.
Cons
I don't have any real complaints about it. Everything works well and the platform feels flexible and dependable for businesses of all sizes. Nothing specific to dislike.

“Perfect tools for selling”
Pros
Lived up to its reputation as a top e commerce platform!! There's a huge amount of accessible support available and the setup process was very easy. We mainly used it for on demand merchandise and it gave us a clean, simple web page along with widely available payment options. Being able to accept tap payments directly on the device was especially impressive and came in really handy for pop-ups and mobile sales :)
Cons
Managing some of the third party integrations could be a bit tricky at times and it also felt somewhat restrictive when trying to match the branding of our other channels unless we brought in expensive outside developers.

“helpful small businesses”
Pros
Using it is pretty easy even if you need some time to get used to at first. The 3 months for $1.00 offer is a big help for a small business and makes it much more affordable in the beginning. I also appreciate that so much is built in so you don't have to rely on third party tools unless you want to which makes everything feel more convenient.
Cons
One thing I was disappointed by is that when I had used it before, I was able to stay on a $5 per month plan without needing to build out a large website. When I came back to reopen my store, that option was no longer available and that lower cost plan had been a much more convenient fit for my budget.

“solid platform”
Pros
Running an online store with it has been a really positive experience. It works well for all kinds of e commerce businesses and the platform is very simple to figure out and use.
Cons
The problem is the cost which can get pretty expensive to maintain. There also isn't a worthwhile free version so you're basically required to pay those fees.

“trusted checkout every time”
Pros
Shopping with it feels easy and I always feel confident that my purchases are safe and secure. When I'm buying online shopping, I actively look for this software.
Cons
A part that still gets a little confusing is using the rewards. I always want to apply them to my orders to save a bit extra but it's easy to miss that option sometimes.

“fast and accessible storefront”
Pros
Switching to this made an immediate difference for us. The platform feels accessible and quick and since moving over, both our website and backend have been faster and much more user friendly. It has made things more pleasant on our side and noticeably improved the experience for our customers too.
Cons
Currently the only drawback I'm seeing is that it doesn't fully integrate with our shipping service, ShippyPro. They're fairly minor issues but if that connection were improved, the overall experience would be close to perfect.

“great for online selling”
Pros
Works really well for both the user experience and the business side. The checkout process is fast, payments are easy and getting everything set up is very simple.
Cons
At times the design and creative options can feel a bit limited so a lot of sites start to look pretty similar. Still there's still enough flexibility to add your own personal touch.

“I'm satisfied”
Pros
Running an online store feels much more manageable with this broad, full featured platform. It gives you everything needed to launch an e commerce business and start generating income online, with multiple payment options so customers can buy in the way that works best for them. I also appreciate that marketing tools are already included in the monthly subscription which means there's no need to juggle several separate platforms.
Cons
Template and website customization still feel somewhat limited. I wish editing the template were more easy and that adding sections could be done with more freedom.

“Good pricing”
Pros
It is reasonably priced, simple to customize without needing a developer and it keeps getting regular updates which makes it a strong fit for building fast and adaptable online stores.
Cons
It's core system isn't completely open to modification like some other platforms so that can reduce flexibility depending on what your company specifically needs.
