“Solid results”
Pros
A few things have really stood out while using this platform: the dropshipping tools, stronger security, personalization options and the overall speed of the platform. All of that has been helping us achieve better and better results.
Cons
The downside is that I can't keep using the platform unless I pay for it. Right now, that cost is pretty hard for me to manage especially with monthly payments already piling up.

“flexible designs”
Pros
Very easy to get a store online and you really don't need to stress over the technical side of things. The range and overall quality of the themes are excellent and if none of them fit what you need, you can build your own or purchase another one. The core platform is very flexible and the templates work well for different kinds of stores. It also scales nicely whether you're running a small shop or a much larger ecommerce business. The app marketplace includes a lot of useful add-ons for expanding your store and customer support is available 24/7 which is a big plus.
Cons
A few things could still be better. The URL structure isn't the most SEO-friendly especially with the way subdirectories are handled for pages, blogs and news content. The multilingual side of the platform is improving but it still feels like a work in progress. On top of that, the extra transaction fees added beyond payment provider charges, such as PayPal, can be frustrating. Creating standard content pages also isn't as convenient as it should be.

“well built API”
Pros
One thing that really impressed me is how well-built and clearly documented their API is. It feels accessible to work with and makes integrations with other software pretty easy. Accessing backend data is also convenient whether directly through the admin panel or by using a tool like Postman. On top of that, there's a wide range of third party plugins available which adds a lot of flexibility and helps expand the platform's functions.
Cons
There are only a few minor issues here and there, such as our testing account throwing frustrating errors once we hit the test order limit.

“happy customers”
Pros
Setting up a business and running it feels very easy and that is one of the things I appreciate most about it. The platform is easy to understand and the setup process does not take long to figure out. Their customer support is also really strong which matters a lot when you rely on software to manage your work. It is comfortable to use overall and customers are usually very happy with how simple and clear the whole process turns out to be.
Cons
Working this into my business process was not hard at all. I generally pick up technology and navigation pretty quickly but I still think it stands out as a top choice because it helps a lot of businesses understand what they are doing without feeling lost or overwhelmed. The one thing I would really like to see is more customization within the themes especially when it comes to changing colors, fonts and having more design options. I enjoy making my sites, pictures and apps look colorful, unique and different so that part feels a bit limited.

“perfect for growing online sales!”
Pros
A big reason this platform works so well is how much it helps with digital business growth. The setup and onboarding are very simple and the whole system is easy to use. Their customer support team is polite, helpful and quick to assist when needed. It also works across both the mobile app and website which adds a lot of convenience. Even for someone without a coding background, it feels accessible. On top of that, the interface is well organized and visually appealing.
Cons
There really isn't much to complain about with this platform. The only issue I've noticed is that data sometimes doesn't refresh right away which could just be related to the server.

“professional store tools”
Pros
It gave me everything I needed to create a polished, professional e-commerce site and get it live without missing anything important. On top of that, their customer service team was incredibly helpful whenever I needed assistance.
Cons
The only real downside I ran into was with it's checkout setup as a non-US citizen. I had to get special approval from the tax team before I could sell through their checkout tool and it took about three months for them to reach out and review my case which ended up hurting my sales.

“handy tutorials”
Pros
The pricing tiers are a big plus since I can move up as my business grows. There are also plenty of blog posts and tutorials that help users learn how to use to the platform and it's easy enough to figure out on your own. Another thing I appreciate is the wide range of third party app integrations. On top of that having a mobile app makes it convenient to manage things from other devices when I don't want to be at my computer.
Cons
The dashboard still feels like it could be improved and made more user friendly. I'd also like to see more free templates for customization. And while there are lots of third party apps available some of them aren't very good.

“accessible dashboard”
Pros
Navigating the dashboard feels very easy and the whole layout is user friendly and accessible.
Cons
At the same time, the product seems to be lacking a few features that could make a big difference in driving sales growth for many businesses and that would likely benefit the company as well.

“powerful store tools overall”
Pros
Working with it wasn't too difficult although I did have to spend a fair amount of time reading through things to set everything up exactly the way I wanted.
Cons
One thing that disappointed me was how many extras cost additional money and you also have to spend a certain amount before getting discounts. It also feels much less customizable than most other e-commerce platforms.

“top choice for online stores”
Pros
Has been the best CMS for ecommerce in my use and it works really well for both small businesses and larger companies that need to manage their online sales.
Cons
I don't have any complaints. My team and I have been using it for our clients for more than five years and we still haven't had a bad experience with it.

“powerful features”
Pros
Right from the start, it gives you everything in one place, including the free initial site setup, inventory and product management and of course order handling. The entry pricing is excellent and the customer support has been outstanding as we became more familiar with the platform. Having unlimited features from the beginning, along with the pay-as-you-grow option, has been the biggest selling point for my ecommerce clients. The starting cost is also very competitive and the customization options feel endless. The Shopit onboarding team has been incredibly helpful in getting the site set up.
Cons
It's difficult to point to anything I truly dislike because I haven't had any real issues at all. The web design and setup process is not quite as polished as some other platforms and it does take a bit of time to learn the best way to handle certain tasks but that is balanced out by the amount of support the Shopit team provides.

“clean storefront”
Pros
Doesn't take much effort to set up an online store and manage it and the setup process is pretty easy. It covers the basics really well and is especially helpful when your traffic is still on the lower side. The design feels clean and uncluttered and customizing pages is simple to do. I also appreciate the built-in analytics and it works very well for our CMS needs. It's a platform that really suits just about anyone and even without development skills, you can learn how to use it without much trouble or stress.
Cons
Setting up a very attractive, responsive store is quick and simple and there's a solid selection of professionally designed themes that help give the shop a polished, business-like look. The part I appreciate most is the 24/7 customer support.

“so simple to work with”
Pros
Starting with an online store feels really complete with it. Once you sign up you get access to the tools and features needed to create, run and grow your website. It lets you design and personalize your store, build a product catalog, choose how you want to accept payments and set pricing for your products or services. It also works well for selling almost anything whether it's digital products or physical items and you can sell across multiple channels like your website social platforms such as Facebook and even mobile apps for customers on the go. The $29 per month plan is a solid value considering the range of payment options available and the 14 day free trial is a nice bonus.
Cons
A few useful features are reserved for the more expensive plans. Things like blogging and product reviews can feel limited unless you pay extra or move up to a higher tier.

“feature packed store management”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages of it is how many tools it brings together in one place. It covers order management, inventory tracking, shipping, manufacturing and a lot more which makes running the business much simpler. Because so much is handled within the platform, you can put more of your time and money into actually growing your business.
Cons
There aren't many major downsides but that doesn't mean the platform is flawless. There's still plenty of room for improvement especially since competitors are starting to catch up with it when it comes to features. It's also a little more expensive than some of the alternatives though not by a huge margin. If they adjusted the pricing, it would make the product even better.

“reliable platform”
Pros
One thing that really stands out is how well it handles heavy traffic. The servers are strong enough to support a large number of daily visitors without creating problems for the store. There are also hundreds of free and paid templates available which gives plenty of flexibility when building and customizing a storefront. Support is available 24/7 and having four international phone numbers makes direct contact even more convenient. On top of that, reaching support through chat or email makes working with the platform much more comfortable. It is also a trusted platform used by millions of businesses around the world, including global investors so it feels very secure. The payment options are simple and convenient while still doing a good job of protecting personal information.
Cons
Don't see these as real disadvantages as much as the cost of getting all the benefits it offers. The commission changes depending on the category but something around 3% for every $100 feels fair enough for both sides. Looking at it another way, that commission covers ongoing support, hosting and freedom from dealing with technical headaches. If your store were running outside of it, you would probably need to depend on programmers and that can be risky because not all of them inspire the same level of trust. In that sense paying the fees can actually save you from bigger problems later.
