“accessible setup with fast payments”
Pros
Starting off with it feels very easy because the platform is accessible and simple to use. It lets you browse a feed with recommended products and even shows when a store is physically near you which is a nice touch. The payment process is also quick and uncomplicated. I used it during the pandemic as an online store and the free trial period helped a lot before deciding on one of the three available plans. If your sales are going well, it becomes a profitable option since building and managing the store is very simple and doesn't require any programming knowledge. On top of that, the customer support is quite good.
Cons
The downside is the cost because if you only sell a small number of products, the monthly fee adds to your store's losses. Other than the pricing, it is still a solid option for selling online and reaching more customers.

“full control and room to scale”
Pros
After more than ten years of selling both physical and digital products on Amazon, I wanted something that wouldn't leave my business scrambling every time the platform changed. This turned out to be that solution! It gave us a storefront that was simple to set up, flexible enough to grow with us and, most importantly, put my team back in control. The app ecosystem is loaded with tools that support expansion and scaling and one of the biggest advantages is being able to collect visitor email addresses when they opt in, then bring them back to our storefront and keep them engaged in our own ecommerce environment longer. I'm really happy with the way it's working out.
Cons
Starting off can feel a bit overwhelming because there are so many options available right away. The initial difficulty is higher than I'd prefer. One practical workaround is to have a third party handle the initial store structure and setup.

“huge app ecosystem boost”
Pros
With more than 4000 apps available, it offers an incredible app library and plenty of third party integrations that can really help take your store to the next level.
Cons
Compared with some other platforms, it includes fewer built-in features so you'll likely need to rely on apps to fully expand your store's functions.

“solid launchpad for growth”
Pros
The free templates covered exactly what we needed to get started. The platform is easy to use and the way products and content can be organized gave us a strong foundation to move our business forward.
Cons
I'd love to see a wider selection of free plugins. A lot of features also feel restricted unless the admin has coding knowledge.

“powerful store setup and shipping”
Pros
To get everything up and running was very easy from choosing a design template to uploading photos and building out the ecommerce side of the store. Whenever I ran into something confusing, the instructional videos were really helpful for learning the platform. The shipping rates are excellent and it also supports multiple payment options. It's also very effective for tracking inventory, processing orders and handling fulfillment.
Cons
Connecting Instagram to the platform was a challenge. It required installing a plugin and the way it looked wasn't very visually appealing so I ended up removing it.

“secure checkout”
Pros
After nearly 30 years of working as a developer with ecommerce platforms, I can't praise it enough!! It's incredibly simple for the average person to get set up and running quickly. From a developer's side, building on this platform is easy and usually costs less than many other options because it's so user friendly. On top of that everything is delivered client side which makes the checkout process highly secure. That alone says a lot.
Cons
The one part I'm not a fan of is that the checkout page can't be customized unless you upgrade to the Plus package.

“reliable tools for our store”
Pros
Running our business on it has been very easy. It's simple to use, gives us really useful tools to manage the store and consistently works reliably without issues.
Cons
The part I'm least happy with is the refund policy when a customer cancels an order. They used to return those charges but now we still have to cover all the credit card fees and don't get fully refunded.

“best platform for my clothing line!”
Pros
Managing my clothing line through this website/app has helped a lot over the past few months. It's been one of the most easy platforms I've used and it makes handling transactions so much easier.
Cons
I honestly don't have many complaints about this website, aside from a few included features that feel pretty useless.

“Approachable tool”
Pros
Feels very approachable to use and pretty much anyone can use it to launch a business. One thing I really appreciate is the app store since there seems to be an app for almost anything you need to run an ecommerce store, from sourcing products to email marketing and website design. They also provide several free website templates that are simple to work with and look really polished. On top of that, each store comes with a free two-week trial which gives you time to decide whether you want to stick with it or not.
Cons
One issue is that some apps in the app store can get fairly expensive on a monthly basis though that is more the app developers' pricing than the platform itself. I also wish product categorization was better within the broader category setup especially since I sell hundreds of items in my store. Because of that limitation, I end up having to pay for an additional app to handle it properly.

“packed with ecommerce essentials”
Pros
Building an online store feels much more manageable with the platform especially when building a website from scratch. It's a really helpful platform for anyone focused on eCommerce and it includes all the core features you'd expect like checkout, catalog management, checkout tracking and business analytics.
Cons
There wasn't much to dislike honestly. If I had to point out anything, it would be that a few plugins felt overpriced or not all that necessary. Aside from that it still stands out as one of the best choices for anyone interested in eCommerce.

“user friendly”
Pros
From the start the instructions are clearly laid out for each step which makes the whole process much easier to follow. The platform is usually simple to figure out and compared with several other systems I've used, this feels like one of the least confusing options aside from GoDaddy. Also it offers more features and flexibility!
Cons
That said setting up shipping can be confusing and the metafield setup is also not very easy.

“fast dashboard”
Pros
Right from the dashboard, everything loads quickly and there are plenty of features that make the platform feel secure and reliable to use. Building an effective online store has become much simpler thanks to the wide range of website themes and the many options they offer. The payment gateways also make collecting payments much more convenient and it's helpful to be able to choose from several gateway options depending on what fits our needs best.
Cons
Offers a lot of apps that can really improve performance for customers but the downside is that many of them are expensive. Things like inventory management, creating quantity-based discount codes and getting more advanced customization often require paid apps which can add up quickly.

Pros
Shopping feels really convenient with this because I can buy what I need quickly and keep all of my account details in one place whenever I'm logged in. It's also really useful to be able to track and manage the orders I've placed.
Cons
My only complaint is that I wish more websites would use this excellent platform for ordering and shipping.

Compared with other platforms like Etsy it costs less and still gives you pretty much everything needed to get your business up and running right after you create an account.

“online store game changer”
Pros
Building an online store with this platform has really changed the game. It has made the whole process much more manageable and far less complicated for me.
Cons
A thing it could keep improving is bringing in more vendors so online stores can access a wider range of products and give customers more choice. That said it does seem like they'll continue adding more over time.

Pros
Getting a small business up and running with it feels very easy and it's a solid platform for reaching more customers. The setup is simple to follow and the wide range of partner integrations helps make a lot of tasks more convenient.
Cons
One downside is that there are so many apps to sort through and a lot of features aren't built in natively. Because of that, the monthly cost can climb pretty quickly.

Pros
It feels affordable while still looking and working like a very professional platform. Since it's such a well-known brand, it also feels reliable and trustworthy when it comes to processing payments.

“accessible sales management”
Pros
Running both in store sales through POS and online orders from one platform has worked really well with it. It's an accessible system, simple to figure out and does a solid job as an all in one tool for managing sales across both channels.
Cons
Issue I've run into is with shipping setup: box sizes aren't very easy to configure and that can cause the calculated shipping rates shown to online customers to be off.
