“best platform for online stores”

Pros

This has been the best platform I've used for building online stores.

Cons

Making custom changes to the theme can be tricky but customer support is always there to help and the community is really helpful too.

Pros

Was really easy to get a basic site up and running was really easy and having access to the app store opens up plenty of options for extra features and design choices. We also connect it with eBay which gives us one central dashboard to handle all incoming orders and shipping in one place.

Cons

One thing to watch closely is how quickly added apps and transaction fees can build up. If you go over the stated monthly limit, there's also an extra charge so it's worth keeping an eye on the costs.

Got my products online and then ready to sell which was all very easy! Once orders come in, I can handle shipping from the same place too.

Cons

I've been really happy with it overall so I honestly don't have anything negative to point out.

Pros

Having an online store running with it takes very little time and it scales really well for just about any retail business model. It gives you a secure, hosted, trusted website quickly and the bigger advantage is how well it grows with your business. No coding knowledge is needed and there's no manual updating either. As long as the store is set up properly from the start, it handles inventory orders and payments for you.

Cons

There's honestly not much to complain about. The only slight downside is that apps can be a bit tricky to manage especially when several add-ons start overlapping with each other.

It works as a CMS with a strong community solid documentation and a global network of people ready to help. It gives you everything needed to get started and keep inventory under control.

Cons

The only problem is that image cropping has to be done manually. It would be much better if that were built in as an automatic feature.

Starting off with the platform feels very easy. Updating page designs and layouts organizing products and handling day-to-day store management are all simple to do. From a developer's side, the extensive documentation and very helpful support team also make working with themes and plugins a really positive experience.

Cons

Every now and then, I ran into a few plugin integration issues with a client's store but there was always another option that worked.

“Has really reliable support”

Pros

Feels very approachable to work with especially if you are not very tech savvy. It is one of the best platforms to use for beginners and the customer service support has also been really helpful.

Cons

My only issue this platform is that the number of free website templates is quite limited. Aside from that, it has been an amazing app for my business.

Pros

Something that makes the platform appealing is that it runs on its own servers so there's no need to purchase separate web hosting. It's a solid starting point for beginners who want to build a website or online store and there's still plenty of room for customization including access to HTML and CSS. As long as you're connected to the internet, you can get into your store anytime. There are also several layout options to choose from. The shipping setup is easy too, with choices for delivery or local pickup and you can even purchase and print shipping labels directly to save time.

Cons

Pricing is where it becomes harder to justify. It costs noticeably more than many other selling platforms and once you start adding the third-party apps your store may need, the monthly cost can climb even higher.

It comes with every feature I need and honestly I have nothing to complain about here.

There's nothing I'd want to change--when something is this easy and awesome, it just works.

Using it feels really pleasant because the interface is very well designed and the overall user experience is excellent. The features are also very simple to use which makes the platform enjoyable to work with.

Cons

There are occasional delays during registration and a few more features still need to be added to make the service even more enjoyable.

The editing options and content management are very user friendly and the platform comes with multiple useful functions that make running things much easier.

One issue is the multi-store functions and there are occasional payment issues at times when you're the owner of the store.

Pros

Right from the start, everything feels well organized and easy to figure out. The interface has a simple, clean look that's comfortable on the eyes which makes using it for long stretches much better. Keeping up with purchases, sales, shipping and deliveries is a lot more manageable and takes far less time. Also I haven't run into any problems with the system glitching or shutting down.

Cons

At this point, the only major downside for me is the notifications. I still haven't been able to figure out how to reduce or minimize them and it seems like there's always some new alert coming through.

The only thing I'd really want is a free version because that would make it much more accessible.

Coming from online marketing and especially ecommerce, I really value the platform for building online stores whether it's for my own projects or for clients. The platform is simple to use and the guides it provides are genuinely useful especially when a question comes up about one of its features. I also appreciate how many features are included and how logically and accessiblely everything is organized.

Cons

All in all, the platform has very few weaknesses. That said even with all of its advantages, there are still some bugs in the interface from time to time. On top of that compared with the desktop version, the mobile interface feels a bit more complicated to figure out and use.

One thing that really stands out it is how powerful it is while still being simple to use which is usually the biggest challenge for platforms trying to offer lots of features without overwhelming their users.

When they refused an issue, the vendor was very apologetic and mentioned they hear from customers all the time about how unprofessional the platform's policies are.

The interface feels very user friendly which immediately stood out to me. There's no need to build an online store from the ground up because the platform already provides prebuilt tools and layouts that can be used right away and customized to fit specific needs. On top of that, hosting is completely taken care of so there's nothing extra to manage. Everything comes under one plan--just pay the subscription and start running the business with confidence and accuracy.

Cons

Handling the catalog has been very easy. Adding new products to the store is simple and updating product details later can be done without any trouble. Inventory management is also uncomplicated. Another thing worth mentioning is their support team which has been very helpful whenever small issues come up and they are always there to assist.

Feels pretty easy to use overall especially with the amount of beginner friendly content they provide. The design options are impressive in both quality and variety and they're very user friendly too. You can pick from the many themes they offer, build your own or purchase additional ones if needed. Its flexibility and scalability are some of its strongest points making it a powerful platform for growing stores. The the platform community also deserves credit because it can be very helpful and when that's not enough, the platform's support team is there to assist. To me, it's the best option on the market.

Cons

Something I really don't appreciate is its transaction fees. If you don't use their payments, you end up paying extra processing charges and the biggest issue is that option still isn't available in every country. I'm also not a fan of the URL structure since it relies on subdirectories which can have a negative impact on SEO.

Setting up an ecommerce store and running it with the platform is pretty easy and it takes a lot of the trouble out of launching online.

Cons

The downside is that site customization can feel limited unless you're willing to get technical yourself or bring in a professional to handle it.
