Excellent!

Pros

Compared with other point of sale systems, this product makes them feel like an afterthought. It handles everything our company needs while also making things better for customers. The sales tracking is excellent too and has been a huge plus.

Cons

I haven't come across a single downside with this product. We've been using it for more than a year now and there still aren't any cons for me to point out.

So valuable

Pros

Having launched quite a few sites on the platform, one thing that keeps me coming back is how fast it is to get everything up and running. The pricing is also appealing especially with plans starting at only $29 per month.

Cons

A downside is that the paid templates feel pretty expensive and the free options look a bit underwhelming to me. I also wish the chat support connected me with an agent a little faster.

fast launch for small stores

Pros

Getting an online store up and running with it is a really solid option for small ecommerce businesses especially if you have little to no technical background. The platform is very approachable and even someone completely new to websites can pick up the key basics without much trouble. Setting up the store and uploading products feels no more complicated than creating a social media profile so you can start selling pretty quickly. There are plenty of useful apps available too which makes it possible to customize the store in a lot of different ways. On top of that, it's secure and works well on mobile devices.

Cons

The monthly subscription cost feels a little expensive, to be honest. Another downside is that when you need a specific customization, there isn't always an exact app available in the app store and that can leave you stuck.

clean storefront and simple admin

Pros

While planning a small ecommerce site for my client, I first tried WooCommerce since the budget was limited. At the same time I was searching for a better design including themes from ThemeForest but nothing really satisfied the client. In the end, I opened this platform's free trial and built a sample store and the client approved it right away at first glance. The admin panel feels very user friendly and creating products and publishing them is very simple.

Cons

I haven't run into any major problems with this platform. The only thing I noticed is that many small extensions and add ons are not free. Sometimes you still have to pay a monthly fee even for something minor like a logo showcase.

supplier connections and low-cost win

Pros

More and more, this platform feels like the go to name in ecommerce and a big reason is how many supplier connections it gives you. You can work with smaller businesses too like that little shop in NJ doing amazing giclee prints with strong profit margins along with bigger options like Printify. The monthly cost stays affordable and if you're just getting started and short on money, they don't immediately shut your store down over the first missed payment. Instead they send an email with a later processing date. The whole site is simple to move through and very user friendly. Definitely a total win!!

Cons

The one thing I'd really want is a wider mix of unique storefront templates and some cooler font choices. That's probably just the artist and marketer side of me talking though.

solid ecommerce tools, limited sections

Pros

Comes with a built in page builder along with inventory and product management features which makes setting up an ecommerce store or even a basic website much simpler. It also supports apps and themes so you can expand the default functions of the site when needed. Since everything runs on the platform's own platform, performance issues are much less likely even as the site grows and starts getting more traffic.

Cons

Issue is that on pages other than the homepage, a section can only be used once. It would be much better if sections worked more like reusable components. Along those same lines, their plugin and app integrations could also use some improvement.

fast support and no-code setup

Pros

Putting together an impressive online store this platform takes almost no coding or technical background which is a huge advantage. As long as you have your images and content ready, you can get started with a solid store idea right away. Another big plus is the support team! They respond incredibly quickly and within seconds of reaching out someone is usually there to help. Also they're always pleasant and professional to deal with.

Cons

Only real drawback for me is the price. Compared with WordPress, it feels expensive. With WordPress you can often pay only for the specific features you need which can make it much more affordable overall. It uses monthly subscription plans so the costs keep adding up consistently. Aside from the expense though I really do love using this platform.

powerful app ecosystem

Pros

There's a huge range of add-on apps you can install to expand what the platform can do. It gives you the flexibility to build almost anything you have in mind whether you're connecting a physical shop, running an online store or combining both.

Cons

Problem is that it costs quite a bit more than many competing platforms. Also the extra apps for your store can add up fast so it's very possible to end up spending more than you originally planned.

well-designed dashboard for growth

Pros

Right from the dashboard, the platform feels polished and well laid out and that makes it much simpler for customers to browse and search for products. It gives us a solid way to promote our brand through product sales while helping the business grow. We're also able to create multiple sections with different product categories and customize them to fit our store. On top of that the search and filter features work really well so customers can quickly find the items that are most relevant to them.

Cons

One downside is that it becomes more expensive as you keep adding features. The website builder also doesn't offer a lot of customization options which can feel limiting. Another issue is that it doesn't integrate with enough other platforms and brands.

best one out there!

Pros

Among the platforms I've used for direct to consumer selling and marketing, this has been the strongest option! It gives you a very hands on way to run the business and the integrations with social media, advertising, marketing tools and e-commerce features are genuinely top tier. Having everything managed from one dashboard is a huge plus and the app ecosystem makes it possible to handle print on demand fulfillment directly to customers or sell your own products with shipping integrations and automated order processing.

Cons

Even though the platform is excellent overall, it does come with a few downsides. The interface feels somewhat outdated compared with other e-commerce platforms and bulk editing is not available. It also isn't the best fit for stores with very large product catalogs since products have to be updated one at a time. Costs can climb quickly because you need a higher-tier plan to access third party calculated shipping rates. On top of that its built in functions are fairly limited in some areas which means relying on extra apps and each one adds another monthly subscription and more expense. Another frustrating issue is that it no longer returns transaction fees when an item is refunded which can be a serious problem for merchants selling high priced products. There are also some privacy concerns since the software and apps such as Digital Downloads require normal internet settings to be disabled so cross website tracking can work properly which is unusual for most ecommerce apps. In the end it is a strong platform but it still lacks some basic features and those limitations could make it a questionable choice for certain merchants.

quick store launch

Pros

Got a store up and running really easily and I was able to start selling fast. It felt much simpler than trying to add WooCommerce to a WordPress site.

Cons

One challenge came up for our accounting person when trying to track both in-store sales made outside of this platform and online sales although that was really more of an internal organization issue than a problem with the platform itself.

user friendly platform

Pros

The functions combined with how user friendly it is is what really makes it stand out to me.

Cons

Since I'm not very skilled with coding I can't take full advantage of everything the software offers. That's more of a limitation on my side than an issue with the platform itself.

reliable checkout for broad sales

Pros

Works really well for our more mainstream products and design projects that appeal to a wider audience. The checkout and fulfillment process is very easy which gives customers confidence every time they place an order and on our side it makes tracking and shipping those orders much more dependable.

Cons

To get the most out of it, you really need a well defined and fairly narrow product and inventory structure. Since our design team often takes on open ended work with a lot of variation and customization, the platform feels quite limiting in that area.

powerful integration

Pros

Right from the start it works incredibly well without needing much setup. Getting a store up and running is easy and it connects really nicely with a wide range of other platforms especially email tools and advertising channels like Facebook Ads.

Cons

Issue is that customization in certain areas especially the checkout, is quite limited unless you upgrade to one of the more premium plans which can become expensive. However the first two pricing tiers are reasonably priced and usually offer more than enough for most people starting out.

fast selling

Pros

Starting from scratch and getting a store up and running is incredibly simple! There are a few free themes that look clean and easy and if you want more variety, there are plenty of paid theme options too.

Cons

A lot of the time when I look for a feature that feels like it should be a standard part of an e-commerce platform, it turns out the platform wants you to install and pay for an extra app instead of having it built in.

beginner friendly

Pros

It is very beginner friendly which is why I'd gladly recommend it to anyone building an ecommerce website. It comes with all the tools needed to launch a store in just a few minutes and even lets you purchase your domain name directly on the platform. Another thing I really appreciate is being able to integrate it with my social network especially Facebook so I can stay connected with my audience.

Cons

I haven't had any bad experiences with this platform.

solid tracking and discounts

Pros

Most of the time I use it for tracking, setting up discount codes and publishing blog posts. At a surface level, it does all three really well. It feels fairly user friendly overall even though there are moments when the navigation can get a bit confusing.

Cons

Blogging side has some features that make customization harder than it should be. I've run into odd formatting problems more than once and some of them seem impossible to correct. I also wish there were better options for SEO and more built in blog features. The blog category system is especially frustrating and very difficult to edit. We've also had some trouble with it integrating with our website although I can't say much beyond that since I'm not in software development.

helpful support

Pros

Setting up a solid website with it doesn't take a lot of effort or a big budget. It's very user friendly, comes with lots of useful plugins and the support team is incredibly friendly and helpful. With all the resources available, it gives businesses the support they need to build a good online store.

Cons

Setback is that it costs more than many other CMS platforms and the payout fees are also quite expensive for users outside the US.
