“custom storefront and marketing perks”
Pros
One thing that really stood out with Squarespace was how simple it was to add products to my website and include all the important details and descriptions for each one. I also appreciated that payments for products could be deposited directly into my bank account. On top of that I was able to choose the themes and colors for my web page which made it feel tailored to me and the people using the site. Being able to pick my own domain and website name was another big plus since it fit my online retail business perfectly. It also comes with marketing tools and email marketing features that helped us work on growing our customer base. Another feature I enjoyed was the option to create a logo for my business, along with a business name generator for clients who are struggling to come up with a good original business name. The pricing was also a strong advantage because it felt fair for everything they let us use to build an online store.
Cons
The part I liked least was that setting up multiple payment options took quite a bit of work.

“beautiful designs and reliable tools”
Pros
Out of all the website builders I have tried, this one has been the best. The designs are excellent, the functionality is amazing and I really cannot fault it at all.

I honestly don't have any major complaints. The only thing worth mentioning is the price of the service.

“Good templates, limited flexibility”
Pros
The templates look professional and the e-commerce tools cover the basics really well. Getting everything set up and managing the site day to day doesn't take much effort and the analytics and traffic management features are useful for keeping an eye on performance.
Cons
The navigation bar can be frustrating to work with and customization feels very limited unless you add code. The login process is also annoying and makes simple access feel harder than it should.

“Strong option in the market”
Pros
Whenever I need to get a website up and running fast, Squarespace still seems like one of the strongest options available. Plus it offers a good range of templates and customizing them doesn't take much effort. That said even with the flexibility, a lot of the designs still come across as a little too template-like.
Cons
One thing that really bothers me is the lack of separate mobile editing. If you change something while working in the mobile view, it also changes the desktop version which is frustrating. It could really learn from Unbounce here since that platform allows you to optimize mobile independently from desktop. I also wish there were more AJAX or jQuery style animation options to make sites feel less generic. Right now, animation is basically missing apart from gallery fade-ins and the text underline effect. Another annoyance is how often it pushes upgrades to the eCommerce plan even when the site isn't meant to be an online store. They've even put an error icon next to one of the templates I am currently using and that gets irritating fast.

“Simplifies website setup”
Pros
Building my website with Squarespace was something I genuinely enjoyed. The initial setup guide was really helpful for getting started and adding custom pages, different elements and updating the overall site style was very easy. It doesn't take much experience to use either since they make things like embedding calendars and other files incredibly simple. The domain module is also very user-friendly and feels almost foolproof.
Cons
One area that really needs improvement is the font system. You have to choose your fonts through the site style settings but you're limited to only three font styles so if you want something different, you have to change the entire site-wide font system. The problem is that doing that also affects edits you already saved across the website. Even though the site style settings are simple enough to work with, changing just one font should be much more flexible. I also feel like customer service is lacking. They haven't been very responsive and I only got past my issue because I ended up figuring it out myself.

“sleek templates and built-ins”
Pros
It stands out with modern templates that work really well for building visually impressive websites. It also comes with useful built-in features like SEO optimization, analytics and e-commerce tools so it covers a lot of business needs in one place. The interface is clean and simple too which makes the whole design process feel simple and organized.
Cons
That said it can feel a bit restrictive when it comes to advanced customization since the platform depends a lot on preset templates and doesn't offer as much flexibility as some competitors. The pricing is also on the higher side especially for businesses that need more advanced e-commerce functionality. On top of that website load times can occasionally be slower than expected.
