I use it for my website and overall I have been really satisfied with how it performs.

beginner-friendly setup, limited design freedom

Pros

Getting started with it is beginner-friendly and the pricing is fairly affordable.

Cons

At the same time, it feels pretty restrictive when it comes to web design especially for someone who is still a beginner.

Great tools for selling courses

Pros

The drag and drop editor makes building pages pretty easy and being able to handle subscriptions and purchases in one place is really useful. It works especially well for selling digital products like online courses.

Cons

The pricing feels high especially since each license only lets me build one website. On top of that I have to move to a more expensive plan if I want to add custom code integrations.

Allows build sites without coding

Pros

Building and managing my website with Squarespace has been a really positive experience and I have been very happy with how everything turns out. It's very simple to use, even if you don't have any background in web development. The drag and drop tools make it possible to create professional, attractive websites without much hassle.

Cons

The only downside is that the pricing can feel a little high At times especially for smaller businesses. That's probably one of its bigger drawbacks and as a beginner some parts of the platform felt a bit overwhelming at first.

stylish, flexible and well connected

Pros

Squarespace delivers a nice mix of functionality and visual appeal. It's user-friendly, flexible enough for different needs and the integrations across multiple platforms work really well.

Cons

At times websites can feel a little less unique since you're still limited by certain themes and design structures.

Stylish templates with great control

Pros

The templates look decent and reliable and there's enough flexibility to shape the site the way you want without the platform being too hard to learn or use well.

Cons

Parts of the interface can feel a bit complex especially when you want more precise alignment on a smaller scale. I also wish a few of the tools offered more customization options so the design could be refined even further.

stylish templates, limited ecommerce

Pros

One thing I really liked was the selection of templates available for building a website. There were plenty of attractive options to choose from which made it easier to create a site that looked professional.

Cons

The downside for me was that it didn't work well with ecommerce apps. That lack of compatibility was disappointing especially if you want to add more online selling features.

website setup made simple

Pros

Getting my first website off the ground felt intimidating at the beginning but Squarespace made the whole process very smooth. It guided me step by step through setting up the site, domain, custom email and everything else I needed. I also really appreciate the clear analytics dashboard since it shows how many people are visiting my site and where they're coming from, whether that's a direct link, Facebook or other sources.

Cons

There was a small learning curve when I started figuring out the design side of the website but that's pretty normal with just about any platform. Once I got the hang of it, it really wasn't hard to use.

stylish templates and quick launch

Pros

Getting a modern website online is pretty easy with Squarespace. The wide selection of pre built templates makes it simple to put together something that looks really good without much hassle.

Cons

One thing that could be better is the BandsInTown widget/extension since the show listing dates don't include the year.
