“Almost everything stands out”

There's a really nice selection of website design templates to choose from and they make the site look professional.

Cons

Using the script embed feature is fairly tricky and updates take a while to refresh.

The platform felt very user friendly and I appreciated how many products could be integrated directly into the website.

Cons

Getting everything configured at the beginning was a bit more involved than I expected. To be fair, I didn't watch the videos so it took me a little while to figure out how to set things up. Even so, it was still much easier than building the site from scratch with code.

Squarespace makes it simple to create a modern looking website and covers most basic needs well. It's easy enough for just about anyone to pick up which works especially well for a small team where everyone handles a bit of everything.

Cons

One downside is that customer support can be pretty slow. They do get back to you eventually but waiting on replies when something feels urgent can be really frustrating.

Honestly I absolutely love everything about Squarespace.

To be honest, there isn't really anything on my list that I like the least.

Squarespace comes with a really versatile selection of pre-formatted templates and user friendly formatting tools. That makes it a good fit for website designers at pretty much any skill level, whether beginner, intermediate or advanced. I was able to build my website from a blank canvas without much trouble, using their suggested design combinations as a helpful reference.

Cons

One thing I wish it offered is the ability to upload my own font files which would give me access to more unique typography and a wider range of font choices.

The platform is very user friendly, the templates look modern and it works especially well for portfolios and small businesses. The e-commerce features are also strong which makes selling online a great experience.

Customization can feel a bit restricted and there are fewer third-party integrations available compared to some competing platforms.

There's a really wide selection of templates to choose from which makes it enjoyable to find a design that fits what I need.

I just wish there were more customization options available when building sites since that would make the platform even better.

It was easy to set up and booking appointments along with sending appointment reminders works really well.

Honestly I have nothing negative to say. It's been a 10/10 experience and I'd highly recommend it.

I honestly have not run into any issues. Everything has been working well for me so far.

It integrates really well with apps like Etsy and Squareup. Setting everything up with a template is also not a hassle which made the initial process quick and easy.

One thing that gets frustrating is editing shop items after importing them from Etsy since it is a bit confusing and very much like a one-time setup. I have also had a poor experience with customer service for one of my web domains.

Once my trial ended, my website got suspended because they apparently suspected fraudulent activity, even though that was absolutely not what I was doing.

Building a website from scratch with Squarespace is very doable even without any web development background since it comes with a good range of features. The uptime has also been excellent and their support team is available whenever help is needed.

Cons

At times it doesn't feel as flexible as I'd want which can make adding custom features a bit difficult.
