“Pretty capable tool”
Pros
Squarespace hasn't been a hassle to use. Overall it is a highly capable, well designed platform with a lot of skill behind it.
Cons
I honestly have not run into any downsides as it's been an incredibly convenient product to have.

“steep learning curve”
Pros
It seems to offer plenty of features from what I have seen but compared with other more popular website builders, it was harder to find my way around.
Cons
Getting comfortable with the website builder took more effort than expected. The navigation didn't always seem easy and the template selection seemed somewhat limited. Someone with more experience and patience might feel differently though.

“perfect for product-based startups”
Pros
This tool makes it easy to get your site up and running and the pricing is quite reasonable. Overall it's a really good website builder for product based business owners who are just starting out or who don't want to deal with complicated software.
Cons
One thing I have not come across is any course integration.

“Quick setup process”
Pros
Squarespace comes with beautiful templates that are fairly simple to work with. They're versatile, highly customizable and if you prefer, you can also start building from scratch. I managed to put together a full website in a single sitting.
Cons
A few of the design tools can still be tricky to customize at times. Some animation settings are hidden within certain templates which makes them harder to locate and edit when you weren't the one who originally built the template.

Building a website with this product was the part I enjoyed most. The template selection gives you plenty of attractive options which makes it simple to put together a really professional site.

The only thing I'd change is the controls since I wish they were more easy to navigate.

“powerful site design tools”
Pros
Building and managing a website with Squarespace is very easy especially for anyone who wants a simple setup. It covers almost all the features I need and they keep adding improvements over time.
Cons
One thing I really wish they'd finally add is the ability to make calendar events repeat for a specific period, like once a week for a certain number of weeks. It seems like such a basic feature but they still have not updated it. For our church, that's a big missing piece. Maybe someday.

“Pretty budget friendly tool”
Pros
Squarespace is very simple to use and keeping the site updated doesn't take much effort either. Also the templates are reliable and the whole platform stays user‑friendly without feeling complicated.
Cons
The pricing is quite affordable but it would be better if there were a free version available.

“Decent tool for website building”
Pros
Getting a decent basic website online with Squarespace doesn't take long. The builder is fairly simple to pick up and there are plenty of templates and layout options to choose from when putting a site together.
Cons
Adding your own brand fonts isn't possible without using CSS which makes it tougher for non-technical users to keep branding consistent. It's a similar story with layouts too like if you want to go beyond the standard grid or need more advanced functionality, you end up having to write code.

Pros
The platform is easy to use and the modern templates look really professional. Also it gives you a lot of flexibility and plenty of possibilities when building out your site.
Cons
The pricing feels expensive and it's also frustrating that customers don't have the option to pay by invoice.

“Very affordable software”
Pros
One thing I really like about Squarespace is how reasonably priced it is. On top of that the platform is very user friendly and easy to work with.
Cons
Considering how much writing goes into using it, I expected some kind of built-in grammar or spell check. Instead, I kept having to copy and paste everything into a Microsoft Word document just to catch possible mistakes.

“Regret choosing it”
Pros
Honestly nothing has worked out well here and I regret ever signing up for this tool.
Cons
Their supposed 24/7 support has not been true at all. Responses usually come by email only sometimes taking up to two days if you are lucky and after that they often disappear because they do not seem to understand or fix the issue. Most of the time, they just send article links instead of providing real help.

“Modern templates, design”
Pros
Squarespace has a really sleek, modern look and the templates are basically ready to go as you just replace the existing content with your own. I have tried plenty of other platforms but I keep coming back to it because it is very user friendly.
Cons
Honestly there isn't much I dislike about it which says a lot considering I have been using it for more than five years.
