“Liked the professional layouts”
Pros
Squarespace is an excellent no-code website builder. The visual editor is easy to use and gives plenty of flexibility to create attractive layouts without feeling boxed in. Getting a site up and running is fast thanks to the variety of starter templates and those templates can be customized and expanded pretty easily as your brand evolves.
Cons
One part that can feel a bit overwhelming is the settings list when you're editing branding or theme options, mostly because there are so many choices and the layout isn't always the clearest. A stronger visual hierarchy would make navigation through those settings a lot better.

“fantastic website builder tools”
Pros
Building and editing a website with Squarespace is very easy and the bio site options are really excellent as well.
Cons
The design tools weren't hard for me to understand when creating a web page. That said someone with less computer experience might find the whole process a bit intimidating.

“love building with squarespace”
Pros
Putting together the pieces for a professional and effective website is one of the simplest parts of using Squarespace. It does take a bit of time and hands-on practice to really get comfortable with the platform and its tools but once that clicks, the creative side starts to flow naturally. After using it for the last three years, I still look forward to working in it every time.
Cons
Getting a hosted domain set up and especially moving over from another website has been one of the harder parts. There were times when the domain transfer instructions it gave didn't match the actual steps I needed to follow.

“beautiful templates for quick sites”
Pros
Squarespace comes with beautiful templates and a user friendly platform that makes setting up a website fast and easy. It's also simple to teach clients how to use so they can manage their sites effectively on their own.
Cons
The downside is that it has limited design flexibility so if you're more advanced in web design, it may not be the best fit unless you're very comfortable with coding. I also think it's a little pricey for a platform with those kinds of limitations.

“sleek results for any skill level”
Pros
Whether you're brand new to website building or have plenty of experience, Squarespace feels very approachable and simple to work with. Over the years, its features have improved a lot and become much more user friendly which shows they've kept up well with how users' needs have changed. The final designs come out looking modern and professional. It's a platform where both beginners and experts can build something successful.
Cons
Honestly there isn't much I'd count as a downside. If anything, the price could be a barrier for some people and might make it harder to justify using.

“beautiful sites all in one”
Pros
Switching from WordPress to Squarespace felt like a huge upgrade. I am honestly thrilled to be using it now. It's really simple to work with and lets me build beautiful, fast-loading, engaging websites without hassle. Having everything together in one platform makes the whole process even better.
Cons
One limitation I ran into is with saving website sections for reuse on new pages. It's a useful feature but there's a cap on how many sections you can store and I didn't realize that until the one I needed was no longer there. It would be fantastic if it allowed more storage for saved sections.

“custom templates that save time”
Pros
Coming in with only basic HTML/CSS skills, I was able to get a lot out of Squarespace's templates. They're user friendly while still giving me enough room to customize with the coding knowledge I have. It feels simple to work with without being overly restrictive and it definitely helps me save time.
Cons
At the same time, it can feel somewhat limiting in certain areas which is probably unavoidable with a template-based platform. The pricing also seems to go up pretty often.

“Offer creative freedom”
Pros
Getting started with a website is a lot less intimidating because there's such a wide selection of high-quality templates to build from. The builder is also very user friendly and flexible so if you have more experience, there's plenty of room to experiment with more creative designs.
Cons
The pricing is pretty high which makes it harder to justify for me and other small creators since I am not running an established business yet. On top of that even with a premium plan, access to important business tools like email marketing still isn't included.

“endless engaging content library”
Pros
There's a huge amount of content on Squarespace which is easily the part I enjoy most. You can keep watching videos for as long as you want and it never really feels like you run out of material. The videos are engaging and the content itself is clear, precise and self-explanatory.
Cons
If I had to point out one downside, it would be choosing what to watch. With so much available, the content organization could definitely be improved to make navigation better.

“Decent choice for first websites”
Pros
When you're just getting started and want a budget-friendly landing page or website, Squarespace is a really good pick. I'd choose it over Wix any day since Wix definitely loads slower and Squarespace is very affordable for first-time users.
Cons
As your needs grow especially if you want more in-depth design control, stronger marketing tools or advanced analytics, you'll probably need to switch to a hosting service or platform built for larger business demands.
