“Covers almost everything”
Pros
Putting together a professional, high performing website with Squarespace takes very little time and the range of templates gives you plenty of attractive starting points. It covers pretty much everything in one place too, including SSL, SEO, marketing campaigns, ecommerce and a good selection of integrations.
Cons
The downside is that template customization is fairly limited so if you want your site to look noticeably different from the original design, you may hit a wall. Wordpress is much more flexible in that regard. Also because it keeps everything inside its own platform, you end up fairly locked in and moving or exporting your site elsewhere can be difficult.

“Offers decent support”
Pros
it has been excellent value for the price and the customer support team is always incredibly helpful whenever needed. Overall it's very easy to use and I haven't run into any bugs or technical issues at all.
Cons
At this point I honestly haven't had any problems with it. The interface looks professional and the page layout is simple to work with which makes it especially beginner-friendly.

“Cost-effective boost for growth”
Pros
Running my small business has been a lot more manageable with this service. It's extremely simple to use, does a really good job supporting business growth and the pricing feels cost-effective compared with other options out there.
Cons
The free trial would have been better if it included more functions and features and the mobile app could be a bit more user-friendly.

“powerful site builder and templates”
Pros
Building a website with Squarespace feels powerful without being complicated. It gives you full control over your page layout while also offering plenty of prebuilt templates to start from. On top of that it delivers really good value for the price.
Cons
Only downside I can think of is that it offers so many template options that it actually took me a while to decide which one I wanted to use.

“Quite pricey!”
Pros
It makes invoicing simple and the platform is user friendly when it comes to finding the information we need.
Cons
The transaction fee charged on each payment is higher than on other similar platforms. There are also restrictions on how much flexibility you have with the invoices.

“Limitations are annoying”
Pros
It does a good job of combining professional looking design with a setup that still seems simple and accessible. There's less hassle, less of a learning curve and you can end up with a website you're genuinely proud of even without being a developer.
Cons
At the same time it starts to feel restrictive right when you want more flexibility, added complexity or room to scale. On top of that leaving the platform after you're invested can be difficult and sometimes expensive. Those tradeoffs come with the stability and usability it offers.

“Liked it!”
Pros
Designing the website is easy and the platform includes decent options for clients to make payments. They also offer marketing design tools which is a nice bonus.
Cons
One limitation is that there isn't an option to process a separate independent payment as you need to have the customer pay directly through the site.

“Helps build website without a designer”
Pros
Squarespace is very user friendly and it was simple to navigate and figure out. As a first time business owner without much budget to bring in a web designer, it really did exactly what I needed, even with zero web design experience. In the end my website turned out beautifully.
Cons
The only real downside for me was that the template options felt a bit limited for what I needed, although that may also have been because I wasn't completely sure what I wanted overall.

“Good tool”
Pros
There's a strong selection of pre-designed templates which makes it possible for almost anyone to update content or build a simple website without much trouble.
Cons
Its templates don't offer as much flexibility or as many customization options as I'd want. I'd really appreciate having more control over things like fonts and layout choices.

“Packed with useful features”
Pros
It is decent and consistent across the board which is something I really like. Plus it comes with plenty of features, the customer support is strong, pages load fast and the interface stays clean and organized. The mobile-responsive designs also work with almost no extra effort which makes it a decent choice for small businesses, creatives and entrepreneurs.
Cons
The tool does have some limits when it comes to flexibility. Even though the drag and drop editor is user-friendly, it can feel restrictive when you need very specific layouts, newsletters or more advanced customization. The pricing is also a bit high compared to some competitors especially if you need access to the more advanced features.

“Has top-tier store tools”
Pros
Squarespace really delivers when it comes to template quality and the online store experience. Building a professional, attractive website takes very little web development knowledge and that part feels hard to beat.
Cons
Getting a quick response from customer support can be a bit challenging when you need help right away. They do follow up consistently but sometimes the reply takes a full day or even longer.

“good start for beginners”
Pros
It was easy to set up the website and email and it works well for beginners or anyone just launching a business.
Cons
The downside is the limited toolset especially when certain features you'd expect to be built in like the ability to display live Google reviews aren't available which would be really helpful for me.

“Very limited flexibility”
Pros
Getting a site live on Squarespace doesn't take much effort and you don't need any coding knowledge to make it happen. You can update, edit and publish a website within minutes which is really convenient.
Cons
It does feel restrictive when it comes to editing. Only certain sections can be changed so the design flexibility isn't as open as it could be. On top of that the selection of website templates is fairly limited.

“Great features for building sites”
Pros
Squarespace comes with plenty of useful features that let you build a great, fully working website in a short amount of time without much hassle.
Cons
At the same time parts of it seem confusing. Compared with something like WordPress, customizing certain pages or sections the way you want can be a bit of a slog. It's more fiddly than I'd prefer.

“Overall great experience”
Pros
Using Squarespace has been a really amazing experience as an all in one website platform. It lets you put together clean, modern-looking sites in just a few clicks, while still giving you plenty of room to dig in and fine-tune things when needed. One thing that has worked especially well is how simple it is to walk clients through the platform so they can confidently manage their own website afterward.
Cons
The templates look professional but there are definitely some limitations to them. A few of the individual modules also feel weaker than I'd expect. The Menu module especially for restaurants or pricing layouts, is more complicated than it should be and doesn't offer much flexibility in how it can be used.

“Clean layouts and quick setup”
Pros
Getting a site up and running with Squarespace takes just minutes and the layouts look professional. The design quality is strong and there are plenty of features available to work with.
Cons
At times certain settings are a bit tricky to track down, like code injection or the place to add custom CSS. Once you locate them, though, everything works well.

“Getting better everyday”
Pros
The layouts look amazing and I really like that the platform keeps improving. Also it is very convenient that you can easily turn a blog post into an email campaign.
Cons
The only thing that comes to mind is that it could maybe offer even more features. Aside from that, finding the specific feature I am looking for can sometimes take a little effort.

Pros
When I started with Squarespace, I liked the wide range of template styles. They gave me a good foundation and the platform helped me push through the challenges of building my first website while I learned along the way.
Cons

“limited optimization options”
Pros
I find a basic website up and running easy especially for non-technical users. It also comes with plenty of built-in features that support a wide variety of use cases.
Cons
After helping a few clients with their websites, performance has been a recurring problem. The platform is somewhat restrictive when it comes to optimizing pages and assets which limits what you can really do to improve speed.
