“booking and pricing done right”
Pros
I have been on Squarespace for a long time and once I learned from other people that I could book customers and set up my price lists right inside it, I was completely sold. I have been hooked ever since!!!
Cons
I love everything about it and really don't have anything negative to say.

“So many template options”
Pros
Building a site with Squarespace is very easy. It has a user friendly website builder, plus a wide range of templates and customization options so putting together a professional looking website is possible even without any coding knowledge.
Cons
The biggest downside, in my view, is the pricing since it can cost more than some other website builders available on the market.

“too limited for custom style”
Pros
I could use it without much hassle when I needed a very simple website. The basic menus were also fairly easy to navigate.
Cons
It was missing a lot of features and the level of customization I really needed to build a website that actually reflects my style.

“fluid editing with mobile issues”
Pros
The fluid editor is a nice touch and the animation options are pretty cool too.
Cons
At the same time, the overall editing UX feels kind of terrible and switching over to mobile almost always throws everything out of place.

“everything works together beautifully”
Pros
Everything connects in one place. The email campaign feature blends right in with the forms and if scheduling is needed, that integration is available too. It really has all the pieces there.
Cons
The email campaign service was really good at the beginning but eventually I outgrew what it could do.

“stylish templates and polished setup”
Pros
Building a website with Squarespace was pretty easy and the whole experience has been enjoyable. The interface is clean and simple to navigate so it never feels overwhelming. The way the preset layouts are put together is probably its best feature. Even without professional design skills, the final result still looks refined and sophisticated. There's also a good range of templates to choose from which makes creating a personalized design fairly simple.
Cons
The subscription cost can feel a little high at times. It also has more limitations compared with competitors like Wix.com especially when it comes to creative freedom. It feels more structured which can be a downside if you want more control over customization.

“clean branding and visuals”
Pros
Getting a site up and showing what our product or service offers is very easy with Squarespace especially when we only have a few things to present. Plus it does a great job of maximizing the visual side and helps showcase our brand effectively through the built‑in tools.
Cons
It's not the strongest option if you plan to scale significantly. For a full-scale eCommerce setup, I'd probably suggest going with a different platform.

“affordable value for websites”
Pros
The pricing feels very reasonable and it gives you a lot for what you pay. There's a good set of features included, even if it doesn't offer a ton of advanced functionality.
Cons
Some parts of the platform could use more customization since a few features feel a bit limited.

“customizable templates that keep us updated”
Pros
When we first launched the business someone else built our website but it didn't take long before it felt outdated and needed outside help every time we wanted to make changes. After switching to Squarespace, we could start from a template and tailor it to fit our brand which made updating the site ourselves much more manageable.
Cons
One thing to keep in mind is that when newer versions or builds come out and your site starts to age, you might end up needing a full rebuild. That said this isn't really unusual since a lot of other platforms run into the same issue.

“stylish templates and great support”
Pros
Building a professional looking website with Squarespace is very easy because the templates are modern and visually professional. Even without any design background, it's possible to put together a site that looks high quality. The platform is easy to use so getting around the editor doesn't take much effort and there's no need for coding knowledge. Real-time editing is helpful and being able to preview how the site appears across different devices makes the process even better. It also includes useful features like SEO tools, e-commerce options and analytics. On top of that customer support has been excellent, with live chat and ticket responses that are usually handled within a few hours. Considering everything it includes, the pricing is quite reasonable and the different plans work well for different types of users.
Cons
Compared with WordPress, this one isn't as flexible and certain templates come with design limitations that can make customization harder if more advanced features are needed. The blogging tools have gotten better recently but they still don't feel as fully developed as WordPress. Another downside is the lack of third-party apps, plugins or extensions which can be limiting when compared to other website builders that offer a larger ecosystem.

“beautiful templates and helpful analytics”
Pros
Squarespace lets us build clean, attractive websites that present our real estate listings really well. Connecting the domain is a very quick process and it doesn't take long at all to launch a site. The templates come with plenty of customization options and moving page elements around is pretty easy too. The analytics section is a big plus too as they are clear, simple to navigate and useful for sharing updates with clients.
Cons
One thing that gets frustrating is how font size and style are controlled through the settings so there's not much flexibility while you're actively editing inside a text box. If you want to switch fonts or use more than one, the process feels way more complicated than it needs to be. It would be a lot better if each text box had its own formatting options. Another downside is the admin side of billing as when billing details need to be updated, you have to open each site in the account and change them individually. A more centralized way to manage billing across the full website portfolio would make a lot more sense.

“fast launch with flexible design”
Pros
When we needed to put together a temporary website for a new product line, Squarespace helped us get it live within just a few days without spending much. It gave us enough customization options to design the site the way we wanted and tailor the look to fit the promotion.
Cons
It doesn't offer the full range of features or functionality you'd get from platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce so it's not something to expect for a more advanced store. That said for a basic website, it still works well and lets you handle the design yourself.

“creative storefront with strong customization”
Pros
Squarespace is a really good option if you need a website builder on a smaller budget to showcase creative work and host an online store for selling products. It comes with plenty of useful features, including SEO and marketing tools and it also does well on the security side. The customization is one of its biggest strengths too, with lots of flexibility for layouts, fonts, themes and more.
Cons
The downside is that the plugin selection is fairly limited and automatic updates can be difficult across different versions. Integration choices are also somewhat restricted and the technical support team could be much more proactive.

Pros
It doesn't take long to get comfortable with Squarespace. The platform is easy to use, has amazing functionality and includes some really attractive templates that make launching a new website pretty quick.

“Has professional templates”
Pros
Getting a site live with Squarespace doesn't take much effort and that's something I really appreciate. It lets you launch a professional looking website pretty quickly without needing much technical know-how or specialized skills.
Cons
