Getting a basic website up and running is easy and it doesn't take much effort to keep it maintained afterward.

Cons

On the downside improving the site's SEO isn't very easy and it's not the best option if you need a more feature-rich website compared with WordPress.

It is pretty easy to use overall and it made accepting credit and debit card payments possible for my business.

Cons

The initial setup was a bit confusing at first but I was able to work through it.

Every now and then, I think it would be nice to have a template with more customization options but it hasn't really been necessary so far.

Getting a professional site together with Squarespace takes a lot less effort because the platform is very user friendly. The biggest plus for me is being able to customize the templates enough to make the site feel unique while still keeping a really professional look. It saves a huge amount of time compared with building everything from scratch in WordPress.

Cons

When you need very specific layout changes it can start to feel restrictive because the templates only let you go so far. It is possible to work around that with custom code but then you either need to know exactly what you are doing or pay someone else to handle it.

With how packed my schedule usually is, the Squarespace app has helped make things a lot more manageable than most other apps I have used.

Cons

There are a couple of parts of the app I wasn't crazy about. It could still use a few tweaks here and there but overall it's still an awesome app.

Squarespace is very user friendly especially for someone who's reasonably tech-savvy but not fully caught up with all the latest features and bells and whistles out there.

At times it can still feel a bit confusing or tricky when I am trying to adjust certain elements exactly the way I want them.

It's definitely pretty complex and takes time to fully learn but that's often the trade-off with something this capable.

After trying a few other platforms, Squarespace has ended up being my favorite and even feels better than Shopify. The pricing is reasonable, it's user friendly and the website templates look fantastic while being quick to set up.

Building and managing the site is very easy and we can get a professional result pretty quickly.

That simplicity also comes with a downside. Depending on the template some actions are actually quite complicated to set up and not everything can be done which is a bit frustrating. On the plus side, customer support is responsive and can help when needed.

Getting started with this software can feel a bit challenging at first but it becomes user friendly once you get used to it.

If you're mainly using it for a portfolio and not much beyond that, the price feels a bit high compared with other competing options.

Building a website with Squarespace is very easy because it offers a huge range of options without requiring any coding knowledge or prior experience. You can simply drag elements around, add buttons, create new sections and shape the site however you want. It's very capable and the only real boundary is your own creativity. There are also plenty of templates included which helps a lot when you need ideas or a starting point.

Cons

It is clearly aimed more at beginners or anyone who doesn't want to spend days putting a website together so it does come with more limitations compared to building a site completely from scratch. API flexibility is limited and some advanced features, such as certain animations, bots and similar tools, either aren't available or still have not been developed.

When I built my first website, I tried Squarespace and the whole process was about as simple as it could be. The finished site also ended up looking really good.

Cons

One thing that does get on my nerves is how many YouTube sponsorships for it seem to be everywhere.

I didn't feel like anything was missing. It has the features needed for websites, blogs, email and more and I didn't come across anything I disliked about the software.

Squarespace comes with templates that feel distinctive and are simple to customize based on what you need which is something I really appreciate.

The Version History feature could definitely be improved to make things more efficient because rolling a design back from the current version to a previous one is pretty difficult.

Creating a website with Squarespace was genuinely enjoyable because the whole process felt very simple and didn't require any coding at all. Everything moved along quickly which made getting the site up and running feel hassle-free.

Cons

I don't have much negative to say about the software. If anything, it could offer a few more add-on options for form submissions.
