“swipe payments anywhere”
Pros
Using the credit card swiper is really simple and being able to take payments while on the go is a big plus.
Cons
It does require a headphone jack and a lot of phones don't have one anymore.

“pricey plans and customization depth”
Pros
One thing that's really useful about Squarespace is the mobile app which lets me manage and control my website quickly from anywhere at any time. I also appreciate being able to upload high resolution images to my site without losing image quality. On top of that the customization options are good as I can change pretty much anything including the headers.
Cons
The subscription feels fairly expensive compared with other competitors especially since it doesn't include any security services. There's also a learning curve and it takes a bit of expertise to get comfortable with it. On top of that the e-commerce features could definitely use some improvement.

“stylish blogging with visual freedom”
Pros
It works well as a one-to-one website builder for creating a blog without a lot of stress. The built-in visual gallery is also a big plus since it lets you put together the look you want without having to worry about copyright issues.
Cons
It feels more appropriate for smaller projects so it might not be the best fit if you need something more professional. Even with that, I am still quite satisfied with it.

“SEO, branding that deliver”
Pros
Squarespace is very user friendly especially for someone new to building a site and it does a good job with SEO and branding for a web project without putting many learning barriers in front of an entry-level designer.
Cons
Pricing is in line with other done-for-you website builders but there isn't really a beginner or personal plan for students, small startups or first-time entrepreneurs who just want to test the waters. It feels more directly aimed at B2B users and established businesses looking to solve technical needs.

“creative website building without coding”
Pros
Building the foundation and layout of a website without knowing any code is a huge plus. After that part is in place, it becomes much easier to learn where the tools are and how to use the features across the platform. From there, I can focus more on the creative side and start adding the artistic details that bring the final website together.
Cons
One limitation is the lack of flexibility with text styling and color choices when I want different looks across the site. If I update certain text settings on one page, those changes can carry over to other pages too. I get that the template comes with a set structure but I would still want more control over text formatting. The text options in Email Blast are also very restricted since there is only one style available.

“fantastic for restaurant websites”
Pros
Getting started with Squarespace was incredibly user friendly. I went into site design with zero coding knowledge and it never held me back at all. Between the drag and drop builder, templates, video hosting and photo galleries, it makes sharing information about our restaurants with the community feel effortless.
Cons
The one thing I'd love to see is more flexibility for text customization. Right now it feels like there are only a handful of fonts and colors available unless you dive into coding the text yourself. A middle-ground option would be really helpful for users who want to make bigger text changes without having to code.

“Amazing basics”
Pros
The website builder is user friendly and gives plenty of flexibility especially for basic needs. The extra products do cost more but they work reliably and the built-in analytics cover the essentials well.
Cons
The downside is that nearly every additional feature comes with an extra charge. Also the email marketing tool doesn't handle blog posts particularly well.

“stylish templates and user friendly setup”
Pros
Squarespace has some really strong templates. I have used them quite a bit and they've always worked reliably without causing any problems. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a simple, user friendly way to build a website.
Cons
One thing I'd still want is more flexibility when it comes to customizing the site. It might just be how I work but the platform can feel a little limiting at times.

“love the free business tools”
Pros
Running a small business on a tight budget, I have been blown away by how much this program includes. I originally picked up the Square reader for in-person sales and since then I have been discovering all the free features that come with it. It helps me handle accounting and record-keeping without adding extra costs which is a huge help. On top of that it gives me a free online store and the fact that they even offer business loans based on your Squarespace sales is incredible. I am obsessed with it and could easily see myself becoming a brand ambassador.
Cons
I have not come across anything negative about this company yet. At this point I'd just say give it a try.

“quick to learn, tricky block placement”
Pros
The tool is fairly easy to use. A few parts do take some getting used to especially when adding different blocks and working with spacers. You really have to line things up carefully and insert them in the right place so the rest of the content doesn't get thrown off.
Cons
One frustrating limitation is not being able to resize graphics. It can also be hard at times to drop a new block exactly where you want it. The guide lines that show placement don't always land on the specific spot you're aiming for so you end up moving the cursor up, down or sideways just to trigger the right position.
