“stylish setup and design”

It was easy to set up and run everything and the design side of the platform is really strong.

Cons

The ecommerce features though, still feel lacking and leave quite a bit to be desired.

Squarespace feels very practical and well-rounded, with a wide variety of blocks and full spreadsheet features included. The part I enjoy most is being able to create my own designs, choose the colors I want and adjust sizes in a way that works for me.

Cons

The downside is that there's no free plan available and the editor can be a little complicated to work with. Other than that, I don't have any major complaints.

Having those built-in templates was a huge help since I didn't have to design everything from scratch on my own.

I have not run into any issues with this app at all since I started using it.

Squarespace has a really amazing look and it doesn't take long to get comfortable using it. The platform is very user friendly and the tutorials are well done. On top of that customer support has been excellent whenever needed.

There really isn't much I dislike about it. If I run into an issue, I am usually able to figure out a way to fix it.

Pros

I am glad I came across Squarespace since it brings domain search, registration and web hosting together in one place at a reasonable price. There's also a wide selection of free CSS templates and building a website mostly comes down to simple drag and drop design.

Cons

The trial only lasts 14 days and I do think extending it to 30 would be better but I am already past that point and still really enjoy using it.

Pros

One thing Squarespace does really well is design. The templates look professional and the blogging feature supports Google AMP which is a nice bonus. Also it works well for larger websites since it allows up to 1,000 pages.

Cons

The weak spot is performance because page loading speed isn't very good. The website editor could also use some work since it doesn't autosave after every change and when you save updates, they go live publicly instead of staying in draft mode.

Pros

Building a website with Squarespace is simple and it comes with plenty of ready-made templates to help get a site up and running.

Cons

It would be better if there were even more templates available to fit different website needs and purposes.

Pros

Putting a website together takes only moments and switching templates or updating the design only needs a few clicks. The email tools are really helpful for collecting subscribers and can noticeably improve conversions. Content management between creators and managers is also easy and as a CMS, it works especially well for a smaller number of sites.

Cons

Moving through the navigation settings can be a bit tricky at times. The pricing also feels somewhat high for small bloggers and the platform is up against a lot of strong competition.

Website performance stays strong while building with Squarespace and it works really well for creating all kinds of e-commerce websites.

SEO customization options are somewhat limited.

Squarespace is a really good place to begin with web design because it is easy to use, comes with a broad set of tools for both the creative side and the business side of running a website and the pricing is reasonable.

Cons

At the same time, it can be pretty frustrating when you're trying to tweak very small details. A few of the tools also seem like they're still half-baked or in a beta stage which can make the overall experience feel more stressful than it should.

It is fairly easy to use overall. The first steps can feel a little frustrating but once you understand how it works, it becomes enjoyable to use.

Cons

At the beginning, it's not always clear whether you should choose the trial or go straight to a subscription. It's better not to build too much until you decide, otherwise you may have to start over from scratch.

Using it has been very easy and being able to access it from anywhere is a huge plus.

I have not had any problems with the software itself, aside from the occasional connectivity issue.

Unfortunately, it still feels like more of the same with cookie-cutter templates. I don't see any real innovation or anything distinctive enough to make me choose it over the thousands of similar competitors out there.

Squarespace was pretty easy to use and the annual hosting price is reasonable for what it offers.

At the same time the website can end up feeling a little generic and somewhat confusing and making changes after everything is already set up is more difficult and less convenient than it should be.

The basic design tools are excellent and fully customizable. Over the last couple of years, Squarespace has really stepped things up and now feels like the slickest option in this price range. Scheduling posts is simple and the CMS is quick to use, even from a phone.

Cons

For more advanced or complex design work, you still need to rely on plug-ins and custom CSS.

Squarespace is one of the best platforms for building a website especially with its ready-made templates and pre-designed tools. They make it possible to create a site that looks more creative and attractive and there are also plenty of resources available that help you build something more professional.

Cons

The part I like the least is the pricing. When it comes time to host the website, the cost feels a bit too high for regular people like me who just want to create and host a website of our own.

There's a huge selection of pre-designed layouts and it even recommends templates based on your industry or you can browse on your own until you find a style that fits. You don't need web design skills or any coding knowledge to make it work well. If you can type and follow the template structure, you can build a professional looking site yourself without paying for an expensive developer. It also comes with useful social media integrations and accepting payments through the built-in payment platforms is very convenient.

Cons

One thing I really wish the payment processor included is a way for customers to enter their own payment amount instead of only choosing from fixed pricing options. We charge clients for services that can vary quite a bit and unless every possible amount has already been added to the page ahead of time, customers cannot make that payment through the website.

The platform keeps getting better over time, the interface is well designed and it offers a strong set of features.

The mobile app still feels limited and uploading photos and videos could be handled much better.
