“website management that powers my business”
Pros
Running my business online has become much more manageable with this platform. The website management tools are very user friendly and I never felt like I needed any special technical background to use them. At this point it has really become an essential part of how I operate my business.
Cons
I have not run into any issues.

“Delivers as expected”
Pros
Squarespace is very easy to use and the platform is simple to pick up. It delivers a really amazing user experience and helps our business design and build customized websites for clients without much hassle.
Cons
One drawback is the limitation around templates. I am not a fan of having to begin with a pre-built template instead of starting completely from scratch like you can with some other website platforms. That said the templates themselves are high quality.

“beginner friendly setup experience”
Pros
It is very user friendly because the setup walks you through everything step by step. I came in with no experience and I never ran into any issues finding my way around the platform.
Cons
One thing I have noticed is that Shopify seems to offer a more mobile-friendly e-commerce experience for users.

“sleek templates and simple editing”
Pros
Using Squarespace has meant we no longer have to outsource web design or development work. The templates look professional and the styling options are very user friendly. It's easy enough that anyone on our team can update pages without training or prior experience.
Cons
At times controlling certain layouts can be a bit frustrating. The blog summary section also feels restrictive and we ended up adding a third-party plugin just to extend a list beyond the default limit.

“helpful support and simple setup”
Pros
Building a website from scratch was completely new to me but Squarespace was fairly easy to use and let me add the content I wanted without much trouble. Whenever I got stuck or couldn't figure something out on my own, the customer service team was helpful and walked me through it.
Cons
The downside is that adding my own graphics in certain sections feels pretty limited and restrictive.

“limited support and integrations”
Pros
It is pretty easy to use and using it doesn't take much effort. It's also simple to train staff on which helps a lot.
Cons
Support is pretty limited and there aren't many integration options available. It also feels very plain and overly basic.

“Has professional design tools”
Pros
The ready-made templates look fantastic right out of the box and customizing them is pretty easy. It's nice being able to personalize the design without much hassle and the built-in color palettes and font packs are especially helpful for anyone who needs a bit of design guidance.
Cons
Updating the site to the latest version meant rebuilding everything from scratch which was frustrating. I really wish there were a way to migrate and upgrade without having to completely start over because it ended up being a very time-consuming process.

“stunning designs for artists”
Pros
Their award winning templates make building a website really easy. As an artist I see Squarespace as one of the leaders in the website design space.
Cons
The pricing is a bit on the higher side but it still feels quite fair considering the level of quality they deliver.

“perfect launchpad for beginners”
Pros
It is very easy to use and even better that it's free. If you're just beginning, it's a really great way to put yourself out there while you're still figuring things out and learning as you go.
Cons
That said it's not the right fit for bigger businesses that need more advanced features, deeper functionality and a lot of customization.

“Good starting point for websites”
Pros
Squarespace works really well when you need a quick way to design a website. If you don't have any background in building sites, it's a really good place to begin and experiment with creating one on your own.
Cons
The platform is heavily template-based. That's helpful if you only need something simple but when you want to customize things and make every detail look exactly how you want, it can be pretty difficult to pull off.

“User friendly tools for startups”
Pros
Squarespace is very user friendly and the tools felt fairly easy to use. It has pretty much everything needed for a small startup business platform.

“simple page editing for everyone”
Pros
Creating new pages and updating the website has been really easy for both me and my colleagues. I am not the only one who knows how to manage our site anymore which has made things much easier for our team. With the help section and a little time to learn, pretty much anyone can figure out how to handle the website.
Cons
At this point I really have not run into any problems with the software. Even connecting the host to the website turned out to be much more user friendly than I expected especially since I originally thought that part would be difficult.

“excellent value for websites”
Pros
Getting a attractive website up and running is pretty easy with Squarespace. The pricing seems fair and it includes everything we actually need to build a site that looks appealing and professional.
Cons
If anything, I'd love to see the cost come down a little more but aside from that, it really provides the customization tools we need to create the site we want.

“Easy setup for anyone”
Pros
It was easy to set up and run a site on Squarespace. Almost anyone can build a website with it and you don't need any coding knowledge at all to get started.
Cons
The templates could definitely be better. One frustrating part is that after making updates, a single wrong click can wipe them out and suddenly all that work is gone without being saved.
