“stylish design tools”
Pros
The design and styling features are fantastic and that's easily one of my favorite parts of using Squarespace.
Cons
I'd still love to see more customization options especially around digital product checkout features like upsells and other purchase options.

“affordable with helpful support”
Pros
Squarespace is budget-friendly and simple to get around. Whenever I have needed help, the support team has been useful and responsive.
Cons
It would be better with a wider selection of templates. If I am paying for the service, I expect it to offer more options.

“clients can update with confidence”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate about this platform is how simple it is for my clients to manage after I hand off the finished site. Updating content later on, like text and images, is something they can usually handle on their own without any trouble.
Cons
There are a few limitations when it comes to design flexibility but if those features are truly necessary, I can always bring in a web developer to help with the coding.

“best all in one site builder”
Pros
We've built both our own websites and client sites on Squarespace and it's been the simplest all in one platform we've used for hosting and design.
Cons
The analytics are one area that could use some improvement.

“professional templates and polished results”
Pros
The templates available were one of the things I enjoyed most and the platform is very simple to use so putting a website together is quite easy. The final look of the sites comes across as very professional.
Cons
It would be better if they offered some kind of free option, even if it included company ads. Right now to actually use the site you create, you have to upgrade to a paid plan and that can end up wasting a customer's time if they build everything first and then realize they cannot use it without paying.

“fast setup and simple navigation”
Pros
It is pretty user friendly and everything was simple to use. Also it was quick to work with and I managed to get my website live in under an hour.
Cons
The part that fell short for me was the limited variety and the templates felt a bit plain overall. Still, if you prefer something simple and uncomplicated, it could be a good fit.

“templates that feel custom-built”
Pros
There's a huge selection of templates which makes the platform very simple to work with. It's pretty much plug-and-play but you still get enough flexibility to make a website look like it was custom designed.
Cons
I have not run into any downsides at this point which has been excellent.

“free mobile card checkout”
Pros
Being able to ring up customers right from my phone is a big plus especially since the free card swiper works directly with the Square app.
Cons
The part I didn't care for was having to wait 90 days to receive my funds after taking my first customer payment with the small card reader.

“Affordable platform”
Pros
Using Squarespace has been a really enjoyable experience overall. It's user friendly, offers unlimited storage and the pricing is lower than a lot of other website builders which makes it a strong option.
Cons
The part that still feels frustrating is customization since it can be difficult and doesn't always feel fully complete. It's also inconvenient that changes have to be saved manually every time instead of being auto-saved.

“Confusing builder limits customization”
Pros
Since Squarespace includes payment processing, putting together a site that can sell products and take payments is pretty easy. Also it works well for people with little to no website-building experience who just need to get a functional site up and running.
Cons
Building a website with it is pretty hard. If you want your site to have a very specific look or do more than just sell products, it can be difficult to make that happen.

“reliable for daily sales”
Pros
Squarespace has worked really well for our company when handling day to day sales with customers. Getting everything set up was pretty easy and we have not run into many problems using it.
Cons
The hardware side can feel a little confusing at first but once employees get some training, they usually find it fairly simple to use.

“Comes with classy design”
Pros
Building a site with Squarespace is incredibly easy. I have used it for more than eight websites and it consistently delivers a professional look. It's functional, stylish and the templates are so well-designed that it's hard to end up with a bad-looking site. On top of that customizing those templates is very simple.
Cons
Even though I really appreciate their pricing overall and find it quite affordable, I am not a fan of how expensive some add-on features can be. Adding ecommerce, email marketing and similar tools ends up costing noticeably more. I really wish more of those features were included together in a single package.
