user friendly POS setup

Pros

Its point of sale system is really user friendly and even people who have not used it before can figure it out very quickly.

Cons

Navigation can start to feel a bit hard once you add too many product categories.

stylish templates and simple design

Pros

A huge plus is the wide selection of templates along with the drag and drop tools. It makes the whole process very simple and helps you create a beautiful website without much effort.

Cons

I only used it during the trial month because the cost-to-value ratio didn't feel worthwhile to me. The monthly subscription seemed too expensive for what I needed.

handy shop tools for business

Pros

Running an online store is much more manageable with this software. It helps keep my website organized, the integrations are simple to set up and it's a great option for building a basic site. The shopping cart is also very user friendly.

Cons

Square has a lot of useful software overall but I really wish they would combine everything into one platform instead of making me download eight different Square apps.

plenty of storage and options

Pros

One thing that really stands out is how much storage is included, along with the wide range of options available. It gives you a lot of flexibility and makes the product feel very complete.

Cons

I don't have anything negative to say about this product. I have not run into any issues worth mentioning.

stylish sites with simple navigation

Pros

Squarespace is very user friendly overall. It's easy to navigate but you can still build detailed, professional websites that match the style you want. The online customer support is also convenient to reach whenever needed.

Cons

A few of the features I was hoping for weren't available, like having different drop-down options within a page. I did pass that feedback along to customer service and they mentioned they would look into it on their side.

Simply love it

Pros

Right away the biggest draw of this platform is how simple it is to use especially paired with the clean, tasteful and understated look of its designs and templates. Another thing worth highlighting is that you can run your online business from the same place and it's a real plus being able to do that with such a professional presentation.

Cons

At times the customization options for adjusting the design can feel a little limited although that's something the platform has been improving over the years.

Perfect storefront for my business

Pros

The tool lets me create an online space for my business where customers can browse, get in touch and make purchases which covers exactly what I need.

Cons

Putting the website together does take some technical know-how since a lot of the setup and customization has to be done manually.

Top platform for online stores

Pros

It is very user friendly and the platform is simple to understand whether you're a beginner, a more experienced user or running an e-commerce business.

Cons

Connecting social media channels and handling marketing setup can still be a bit challenging.

versatile payments on the go

Pros

Being able to take all kinds of payments is something I really appreciate especially as things keep changing and more people rely on different ways to pay while others still get left behind.

Cons

One thing I'd change is the shape of the Square device itself. Since I am always moving around, it would be better if it sat more evenly and flush instead of having to keep taking it off so it doesn't get damaged.

website building felt effortless

Pros

At first the whole idea of building a website felt intimidating. I had already tried another platform and struggled a lot with it so I was expecting more of the same. But after someone recommended Squarespace, I was actually able to put my webpage together and update the content and photos without much trouble. that was such a relief.

Cons

Since the platform was new to me, there were still a few things I had to work out to get the webpage looking exactly the way I wanted.

Pros

Working with all the blocks is very user friendly and it gives us plenty of options and freedom to build things the way we want.

Cons

If you want to add multiple languages and currencies, you have to pay extra for extensions.

Limited branding options

Pros

Building a site with their drag and drop editor is pretty easy and customizing pages doesn't take much effort. It's a really practical option for people who don't have the time or technical know-how to create a website from scratch. It also works well for landing pages.

Cons

I'd still like to see more flexibility when it comes to branding customization and support for third-party integrations.

stylish templates with simple tools

Pros

When I needed something quickly, Squarespace handled it better than platforms like Wix and WordPress. I was looking for clean, updated templates that would help me make a good impression on my client and the templates on Squarespace did exactly that. My client was happy with the result. It also works well for someone who is not an expert designer since the functions are simple and easy to understand. Squarespace offers a nice mix of simplicity and impressive features.

Cons

One area that could be better is customer support because the response time is only average and not very fast. They also only offer help through email or chat, not by phone. On top of that some templates can be difficult to customize so I hope they improve that part of the service.

quality websites at lower cost

Pros

Instead of outsourcing all of our website builds, we now handle many of them in-house with this software. We're able to create functional, high-quality websites ourselves and the results have actually turned out better while cutting costs in a big way. That's easily the part I appreciate most about it.

Cons

There really aren't any major downsides that come to mind. If anything, it would be nice to see cryptocurrency added as a payment option.

clean layouts without overwhelm

Pros

The template choices are limited but in a way that actually helps. There are enough layout options for someone to build the kind of content they want, without throwing so many choices at you that the whole process becomes overwhelming like it can with Wix.

Cons

The move from the old version to the new one really wasn't managed very well by the company. Even though switching wasn't mandatory, they certainly didn't make the transition very simple. I am also not a fan of the fact that there still isn't a Media Library.

versatile templates and mobile freedom

Pros

There's a lot here for putting a site together, with plenty of content options and different layout styles to showcase your work. The prebuilt templates give you a good starting point and the mobile app is really handy when you're out and need to make updates without sitting at a computer. The pricing also feels fair depending on what type of plan you need.

Cons

It takes a bit of time to get comfortable with in the beginning. You also have to keep saving after every change and I really wish it would autosave because it's easy to forget and end up redoing work. I also have not come across any phone support which is disappointing.

modern templates at a fair price

Pros

Running things solo on a tight budget, I needed a way to create my own website without sacrificing a professional, modern look. This tool made that possible and the end result looks really good. The block-based builder is effective, the templates give everything a clean and contemporary design and the analytics offer a detailed picture of visitor activity. On top of that the pricing feels very reasonable.

Cons

One frustrating gap is the lack of an auto-save feature. More than once while editing a page, I have spent an hour or two making a lot of detailed changes, only to accidentally press escape, get kicked out of the editor and lose everything I had done. As a small business owner, that's time I really cannot afford to throw away.

best visuals and room to grow

Pros

Compared with other DIY website builders I have used, this one stands out by a mile for its visuals, how simple it is to work with and how much room it gives you to grow over time.

It would be even better if it could support more payment methods.

fast setup with polished templates

Pros

Putting a website together hardly gets quicker than this. The drag and drop builder keeps the whole process simple and the built-in mobile responsiveness means you can launch a clean, polished-looking site in less than an hour.

Cons

That said if the default themes don't work the way you want making changes can be frustrating. Custom CSS is awkward to deal with and can end up breaking things you wouldn't expect and adding interactive or custom HTML and JavaScript isn't very user friendly either.

dated templates and limited fit

Pros

Squarespace probably became so popular because its designs used to feel sleek and minimalist. That style is still there but it feels like the platform has stayed in that same comfort zone while everything else has moved on. It's somewhat simple to use, at least if you're only trying to build something basic and not aiming for anything too advanced.

Cons

One frustration is the lack of clear social media integration and the templates available already feel outdated. It comes across as better suited for a portfolio than for a full website or blog. Even though it includes a lot of tools, many of them don't end up being all that useful.
