Running an online magazine and blog takes a lot of moving parts and Squarespace has taken a lot of the hassle out of it. The part I appreciate most is how simple it is to pick a template and then add an e-commerce store without much trouble.

Cons

You can customize a website template in it but there are still some limits when it comes to what you're able to change or add.

Pros

Using Squarespace is very easy. The interface is user friendly and adding or changing elements on a page doesn't take much effort. It also makes it simple to build really beautiful galleries.

Cons

The only slight downside is the pricing. Without a promotional offer like the one I used, it can feel a bit expensive.

It is very easy to use especially if you're not a technical person. It makes building and managing a site simple without needing much expertise.

Compared with other website builders I have tried, Squarespace has the best design options in my opinion. It's a really good product, simple to use and if you're not building something fully custom, this is the best choice.

Cons

I don't have much to complain about. Every now and then I wish it offered a few more design options out of the box but with a little coding whether you find it free online or pay for it you can usually get just about anything you want.

Pros

Squarespace has been a great fit for handling invoicing and billing in a small business setting. It comes with a lot of useful features that both my company and our clients genuinely appreciate and those tools have helped boost productivity on both sides.

Cons

The only real downside I have noticed with the platform is the pricing jump when moving from a single employee setup to supporting multiple employees.

Pros

The prebuilt templates are a big plus since you can take one and tailor it to fit what you need. There are also plenty of sleek, polished designs available and having the option to use a custom domain email through Gmail is really useful.

Cons

At times the template customization feels a bit limited in terms of how much you can change. Right now there's no built-in feature for hosting courses so you have to rely on separate software or another provider for that. Some extras, like appointment booking, also aren't included in the plan and require an additional fee.

Pros

Getting a professional website up and running with Squarespace was pretty easy. Starting from a template made the whole process faster and it didn't take long to build something clean and professional looking. Another thing that consistently stood out was the customer service as they were always reliable when design or functionality issues came up and did a great job helping resolve them.

Cons

Because our business works in a creative space, I was looking for more freedom and flexibility with the design. Even though the templates are well done, the overall process still felt a bit limiting when it came to shaping the site exactly how I wanted. In the end, I rebuilt our website on another platform that gave me much more control over customizing the overall look and feel.

Pros

Building a good website with Squarespace has been surprisingly easy. The included templates look amazing and it was possible to create a really attractive site without any background in coding or web design.

Cons

A few times, I have wanted more control over things like fonts, text size or how certain titles and text are displayed and those changes weren't possible without extra coding knowledge. Still, those limitations have been pretty minor overall.

I can tailor the site to match my brand but when I don't want to get too involved with JavaScript or heavier development work, the built-in templates are there to make things simpler.

One issue I ran into before was getting certain platforms and videos to integrate properly.

Using Squarespace has been a really positive experience because the interface is simple to work with and very user friendly. Our guests rely on the online ordering feature every day and it's been working well for us.

One thing it's missing is a bit more flexibility with customization especially when it comes to adjusting block sizes.

It is easy to build a website with Squarespace and doesn't require much web design knowledge or prior experience. Overall it works well whether you want something very simple or something more detailed and customized. I have added PayPal checkout so clients can buy packages directly from my site and I also connected Printful to sell merchandise and different fitness apparel.

Cons

The SEO tools feel somewhat limited. Since I didn't have any background in SEO, getting the site to rank on Google was difficult at first. I eventually hired a freelancer to handle the SEO work and improve my Google rankings. There is a guide available along with plenty of FAQs though.

The platform is simple to use overall. It also comes with plenty of design options that can be adjusted without much hassle to match what you need.

The biggest downside is the price since it is not one of the cheaper options out there and the free trial only lasts 14 days.

Being able to customize the site, connect my own domain, link it with Gmail and have form submissions sent straight to my email is something I really appreciate. Whenever it's time to refresh or redesign the website, I have always been able to handle the updates on my own without much trouble.

Cons

One issue I run into is that logging in and loading the current site for editing can sometimes lag before a page opens for changes. Also if I forget to click save, none of the edits are kept.

It works really well for building websites and running a smaller ecommerce store.

Getting everything set up and learning how it works took a bit of effort at first but it became much more manageable after using it for a while.

Squarespace is really easy to use and the available guides and resources were genuinely helpful to follow. With the pre-made templates and built-in stock images, I was able to put together a website in just a few hours.

At the beginning, image editing felt a bit tricky to figure out but after spending some time experimenting with it, it started to make sense and became much easier to manage.

Getting a site up and running with Squarespace takes very little time because the platform is simple and easy to use. Since I build websites for clients, I think it works especially well for small businesses that want to handle their own site updates without being very tech savvy.

Cons

From a web designer's perspective the template options can feel pretty restrictive because the designs are quite complex. You can customize them but it's far more difficult than it should be. It's also annoying to realize midway through a project that certain features exist in some templates but not in the one you already chose.

Squarespace is a budget-friendly option for building a website for either a business or a personal brand. It also gives you the ability to set up an eCommerce site if you need one.

Site customization can feel a bit limiting at times especially when you don't know HTML and want to make changes beyond the template options.
