The best software choice!
The best software choice!
Pros
It was a very wise decision by our management to implement 1st Providers Choice in our hospital. For an extremely busy healthcare facility dealing with 100s of patients in a day, managing their documents and schedules manually was quite tedious. We are still in the early stages of moving away from paper and still getting used to the software. Any extra test that is done is immediately linked to a patient’s profile like the X-ray. We can just have it added to the patient data and billing instead of manually entering it every time. I appreciate 1st Providers’ customer support as well as they are always available when I need help.
Cons
Once we link a certain lab test or report to a patient’s profile, correcting errors such as date or time of the test can be difficult, for example. We often have to re-enter a test entirely to get rid of this issue which is not convenient since some end results are depending on multiple tests which then makes things very complicated. It is a great help that the customer team is mostly able to solve my problems and help me in whatever way they can. They still need to work on improving this.

Provides real-time access to physicians!
Provides real-time access to physicians!
Pros
My team and I are able to make informed decisions, schedule appointments, maintain patient billing information, and provide better care thanks to the real-time access to client information provided by this system. This practice management software streamlines administrative tasks, manages appointments, reduces time spent on paperwork, and allows me to focus on visitor management.
Cons
I do not have a lot of complaints however, the software is experiencing technical issues such as lagging and occasional crashes without warning, which need to be addressed by the team.

Best EHR service in the Midwest
Best EHR service in the Midwest
Pros
As a small-town, KS, dispensary and welfare clinic, we needed an inexpensive EHR to help us deal with our ever-increasing patient load. 1st Providers’ does a great job of helping us provide quality care and shore up the bottom line.
Cons
The interface looks a bit old; needs a makeover.

Intuitive, Affordable EHR/EMR Software; Vendor Website is Dated!
Intuitive, Affordable EHR/EMR Software; Vendor Website is Dated!
Pros
Before onboarding, I was pleased to see that the vendor was generous to offer free demonstrations (we were happy to take several before settling on this EHR). The software interface is generally up to date and designed to reduce risk throughout the care cycle. I also really like the fact that it lets patients request appointments securely.
Cons
The cons listed in the table above are right; ‘advanced features’ really do require customer support.

Really great software.
Really great software.
Pros
1st providers make sure a client has as many options to get to a place as possible. This really shines when multiple practitioners all have different usage patterns and no one needs to forcibly change their way of working. I feel like there are an unlimited number of things we can do once we learn it (we still haven’t learned everything about it). I enjoy how we can access a patients whole chart, including bills and diagnostics, in one place. They also have a lot of templates which we can customize to save time. 1st Providers regularly update the software to address bugs, include client-suggested features, and ensure governmental compliance.
Cons
They have a system of these annoying pop-ups which was great at the beginning but now it’s just an annoyance. I would like an option of “Do not show again” since I know what I’m doing and don’t need to be reminded every time I try to shut a window. The "Forms (to be filled)" box that appears while scheduling appointments is the most annoying of them all. I would like to work on a patient’s file and edit the info without constantly being told that the patient would like to be communicated by phone.
