“very disappointing!”
Pros
Honestly, there isn't anything positive I can point to here. I rarely leave negative reviews because I try to be balanced and I gave this platform over a year to prove itself. It was strongly recommended by a colleague I trust which makes the disappointment even bigger.
Cons
Even getting into the app is a hassle, with startup often taking 10 minutes or more because of multiple firewall steps. Editing notes is unnecessarily awkward too since an extra edit window opens before you can even access the actual note. Patient information is all crammed together, radiology, questionnaires, clinical notes and vital signs, so finding the most relevant details is harder than it should be. Billing adds yet another headache since sending claims requires a separate password.

“Customizable notes templates”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate is the note-taking setup. The template works a lot like a Word document and being able to add macros gives it a nice level of customization. That makes the charting process feel much more feasible.
Cons
My only complaint is that it takes a while to load the first time I sign in.

“COVID Assessment Centre/ walk in clinic Use”
Pros
Over 100 doctors and the local walk-in clinic use this software. It stores extensive patient information, making it easy to access and track patients in the clinic. I can bring up any results in their virtual chart, check medications, and fax documents directly from Accuro.
Cons
Accuro often freezes and glitches, which is frustrating since our clinics heavily rely on it. Without Accuro, our operations are significantly hindered. Freezing issues might relate to our internet connection, but we don't always have IT support readily available to resolve these slowdowns.

A unique feature of this software is its alert system, which notifies if a prescribed medicine has drug interactions or is in the patient's allergic group, minimizing errors.
Cons
Overall, the software is feature-rich, but it takes time to fully grasp and get accustomed to using it daily.

“Simple interface layout”
Pros
Right from the start, the interface feels easy and simple to navigate. If you're reasonably comfortable with computers, getting around the system is pretty effortless. The tips and keyboard shortcuts they send out are also really useful. I've been using this software for about six years so I've seen the big transformation from the older version to what it is now. With each update, it keeps becoming more convenient and it really seems like the team pays attention to user feedback on the forums.
Cons
Nothing to mention here.

Pros
I like the softwares ease of use and additional features. Having used Accuro for years, I am still discovering its extensive capabilities and programmability.
Cons
The prescription writer in this software is overly complex and difficult to use. New physicians take a long time to figure it out and often have many questions.
