If I'm only using it for tasks such as charting, taking notes, and managing claims, I find it incredibly simple and smooth to operate.
Cons
After two years with them, they begin pushing the cloud service, making you pay more for support.

Besides Appointment scheduling, I appreciated the insurance feature; I could sub companies, add produce codes, and manage company-patient insurance shares.
Cons
The Dental Charting section has limited options, and Perio charting can't be printed.

I've been with them for years, but since I'm switching to more updated software, they took all my patient information out of my computer and won't restore it! They are terrible, and I don't recommend them. This is outdated and cheap software; you need something more current.

Like most people, I think ACE is the best option for most dental clinics. The ability to send mass communication to the staff is invaluable for Dentists. Backing up the system ensures it stays updated and reliable. The client management system is comprehensive, coherent, and adaptable with some practice.
Cons
The system requires practice, and the layout feels outdated by today's standards. It's also not the most affordable option for smaller practices.

Navigating through the modules is smooth, with tabs at the top so I don't have to shift elsewhere. Customer support is quick and easy to reach. The cost is more affordable than other software, and the data is quick.

The dental images are not on the cloud, but aside from that, it's excellent software for the price.

I love how easy this software program is for our dental office. I am confident that any employee can easily learn the functions within a couple of days. Customer support is exceptional, they're just a phone call away and respond within minutes if I leave a message. If I forget a step, there are tutorials available or a quick call away.
Cons
The only part I dislike is the periodontal charting feature; it could be more refined for a hygienist's needs.

This is a great program for the price. Ace is Windows-based, so no need for a trainer to come to my office. All backups can be sent to the Ace cloud!
Cons
We encounter problems with computers during Windows updates and issues with cloud backups. We need a separate backup for X-rays.

The program is easy to use, making it a great starter program. The live support is very helpful, fast, knowledgeable, and friendly. Highly recommend.
Cons
It's challenging to move a scheduled appointment to another column on the same day. You often have to move it to the hold area first, which can be a nuisance when trying to move something quickly with a patient on the line.

It has everything we need to run our dental office: scheduling, charting, bridging our digital x-rays, employee time clock, claims, etc. They offer excellent customer support, it's intuitive, and very affordable.
Cons
The dental images are not on the cloud, so I can't check my patients' radiographs when I'm not in the office.

It's easy to use with lots of features. I can pick and choose which ones to use. It's constantly upgrading with additional options available at minimal cost compared to outsourcing.
Cons
The recall system needs improvement! The accounts are sometimes incorrect, and there should be a better way to enter notes that pop up daily for the office to see.

The only downside is that the software is not available for other medical clinics; it would be great for nephrology use.

I like the azure and the fact that the price is right - so now I'm writing just to meet the character requirement.
Cons
There are too many glitches. If you schedule too many units for an appointment space, it just deletes the appointment. Also, you can't delete duplicate prescriptions unless it's the same day. Not very intuitive.

I love that I can navigate through the program via the tabs at the top! I don't have to sift through a maze of 20 tabs to find what I need. They offer every feature I could need, and it all works seamlessly! I've used ACE since 2007 and am still thrilled to work with such an awesome team! I've used other programs as well, so this isn't my first rodeo! I've worked in dental since 1995.
Cons
I have a few additional feature recommendations, but I believe the company is continuously looking for areas of growth.

This software is very comforting to know I'll be helped. The support staff is second to none. Our computer crashed three times last week, and the support staff had us up and running in no time. They answer calls promptly and are always polite, comforting, and knowledgeable. I can't thank them enough! Great job!

Some reports may not be readily available, and it's not as well known as some of the bigger dental software.

The software freezes up a lot and frequently kicks us out when we check patients out. It also changes things, like recording a payment as cash when entered as Visa.
