Adstra is a great program for x-rays
Adstra is a great program for x-rays
Pros
When we implemented it, integration was smooth. The import and export functions made transferring x-rays effortless, ensuring smooth operation.
Cons
We don't pay a single license fee for multiple office computers. We use the system on several computers, but not enough on some to justify a full license.

Pros
Since 1996, when we first opened, we've relied on Adstra Dental Software, previously known as Practice Made Perfect. After evaluating various options, we chose it for its intuitive interface, which was very approachable. None of us at the office are tech-savvy, so the simplicity of this software made everyone comfortable. Moreover, their customer service is exceptional, promptly addressing our needs, questions, and concerns.
Cons
Occasionally, there are computer hiccups or slight data inaccuracies, but most of the time these issues are swiftly fixed or addressed.

Yearly updates cost over $1000, and dentist offices are rarely consulted on these updates, many of which are unnecessary.

Adstra Dental Software
Adstra Dental Software
Pros
In general, this software and its features are great for the price.
Cons
Dealing with X-rays and imaging poses challenges. Taking the X-rays is not the problem; it's the process of uploading and attaching them to charts. There's a lot of potential for user errors, and sometimes X-rays go missing.

Not a lot of features
Pros
Overall, it was satisfactory. It's not the most feature-rich compared to other dental software I've used.
Cons
This software lacked some features found in other dental software. They only provide customer support over the phone; no one visits the office to train the dental team, they do it all via telephone.

Tech support are fabulous! They are extremely patient and want you to succeed.
Pros
The ease of use is notable. Their tech support is helpful in maximizing all the features ADSTRA offers efficiently.
Cons
I wish the newest schedule included crosshatching for assistant time. Integrating imaging and charting into management would also be beneficial. A ledger feature within management would eliminate the need for Quickbooks.

Basic dental program. Good apart from simplicity in viewing accounts.
Pros
The software includes functionalities such as an appointment scheduler, daily and monthly reporting tools, payment monitoring, personal file management, insurance profile handling, policy administration, and detailed logging of claims.
Cons
Accounting can be confusing. The visual for family accounting isn't easy to navigate in one place. The front desk sometimes struggles with external systems during patient check-out when time is limited.

Adstra Dental Software has amazing customer support. Their training when first installed is great.
Pros
Managing tasks is SIMPLE, especially with the helpful charts and marketing reminders. I can't emphasize enough how excellent the customer support is.
Cons
I'm not a big fan of the modules and having to switch back and forth. I wish you could access everything about a patient from one place. We use a lot of lab fees, but the treatment log only has a spot for fees, not specifically for lab fees. It would be helpful if this could be set up similar to a dental claim form, with two columns for dentist fees and lab fees. Some of our codes can be grouped together, but I have to separate them with a separate lab code.

The software's affordability, compatibility with Dacnet, and consistent customer service are notable strengths.

Pros
For over 7 years, we've utilized ADSTRA's Imaging, Management, and Charting programs, which have effectively streamlined our busy office administration.
Cons
