User Friendly

Pros

It is so easy to operate and keeps me focused on documentation, tracks productivity figures, and provides easy access to goals.

Cons

I can not think of any major issues. However, I do wish they offered a home health software solution. The current software our company uses is excessively time-consuming and challenging.

Gets you the info that you need quickly

Pros

Optima offers a vast variety of reports, excellent customer support, and stays updated with regulatory changes, offering additional training and support.

Cons

Modifying templates without assistance from an Optima specialist is challenging. However, their customer support is excellent.

Several different options for casamba - what version do you have?

Pros

Overall, once you are accustomed to, it is fairly easy to use and it boasts a large library of preset verbiage and allows custom writing as well.

Cons

I have noticed that each building has different features and options, leading to inconsistency. There are also two methods for daily billing entry, causing confusion. Additionally, the iPods provided are too small for efficient documentation.

Once you have the hang of it, it is easy, but it takes most people a while to get used to the layout.

Pros

The color-coded tabs are incredibly useful for guiding employees in the field on accessing specific notes or steps.

Cons

The system frequently experiences pauses and slows down, especially frustrating for field employees trying to input their notes.

System is very user friendly, all information is clearly identifiable.

Pros

This software have user-friendly interface and simplicity make it easy to understand and navigate. Everything within the system is straightforward to locate and utilize.

Cons

I would prefer to have the ability to view all visits for a specific day at a glance, rather than having to check under each patient or staff member individually.

Optima Review

Pros

Utilizing builds for goals, daily notes and progress notes while still having the option for free text is a great feature.

Cons

Billing for a discharge before writing it up, and the inability to bill for minutes after writing up a discharge for the day, are frustrating limitations.

The "GO TO" software for SNF/Sub acute rehab

Pros

The highly efficient reports streamline the DOR's responsibilities and I appreciate the educational aspect of the "build options" skilled language, which even benefits seasoned therapists.

Cons

I believe it is crucial for assignment boards to retain data indefinitely. It would be beneficial to receive alerts if there's no progress for a patient over two consecutive notes.

Excellent resource and great tool for SNF therapy

Pros

They offers an excellent state-of-the-art documentation system that is easy to use. Their customer service is exceptional and they consistently stay up to date on therapy changes, providing valuable education through webinars and other resources.

Cons

From my experience, it fulfills all our requirements without any drawbacks.

Optima Program is as easy as a child reciting their ABC's.

Pros

it excels from patient admission to discharge documentation. The Hot List feature effectively manages other staff's documentation due dates. Overall, it is a fantastic program.

Cons

if a therapist completes a Recertification early, the due dates for Progress Notes don't update accordingly. This leads to notes being due on days 11 or 12, requiring therapists to check calendars for exact due dates when scheduling notes.

Pros

it is easy to navigate and use overall, with all the necessary features to complete tasks efficiently.

Cons

Updates take a long time to load, and the email system often requires multiple attempts to load, lacking a search bar. Spell check would also be a valuable addition.
