“The outstanding features really helped boost performance
Pros
I used to love using Align at my last job I proposed to the upper management at my current company to switch to Billing Dynamix as their primary IT solution. Thankfully, the software still works exceptionally well with excellent features. The software knocks its competition right out with excellent charting features and a thorough training program. We do all our billing and patient management on this software which rarely disappoints and I love it for taking notes and handling claims. The functionalities have resulted in greater accuracy while saving our time to focus on priority tasks.
Cons
It has always had the problem of very detailed and long training. I get that it’s necessary to get the most out of it but it’s just not for everyone. The only criticism I faced from my colleagues was that they were forced by the management to attend those long training sessions. Although they have learned to love this software all the same, I would personally prefer if they offered a simpler, smaller package for less tech-savvy or small practices. Also, even though they claim that it’s suited for multi-specialty practices, it’s genuinely more focused on chiropractors.

“A very capable and reliable EHR
Pros
It really takes something to make you enjoy the experience with software, and very few companies have cracked the code. Thankfully, Billing Dynamix is one of them! I have been using Align software for years with different practices I worked with. It has been great in all of those different settings. The best thing about them is the team they have. Very polite and attentive, giving instant replies to small queries and, unlike some competitors, not taking a month and a half for the bigger ones. They have amazing and knowledgeable trainers who make sure you understand everything this software can do. Would totally recommend it!
Cons
It is cloud-based which some would find to be awesome and necessary but to me, it’s kind of a gimmick. I work offline and run a solo practice which means I barely need to access it remotely or face the risk of data theft. Hence, I do not feel the need for it to be on the cloud and not on the clinic hard drive. While that wouldn’t have been a problem, I have to pay a bit extra for the cloud functionality. It’s just that I would appreciate a cheaper option in which I can cut down on the features I don’t need or can work around them.

“A great experience
Pros
Learning a new software is usually not enjoyable, but the onboarding process was a smooth process thanks to the training sessions and the softwares usability. Its very instinctive for those familiar with computers and other EMRs and I appreciate the flexibility of note templates.
Cons
So far, I have no concerns regarding the onboarding process and initial usage of this software.

“Good value for money, great for chiropractors
Pros
Align has been great for patient management and billing. It is great that it’s purpose-built for chiropractors since there aren’t many alternatives available for us in the market. And then there is the excellent customer team, one person in particular who has been amazing and so patient with us that I cannot stop praising him. I was trained on every module, especially the insurance one since I had basically no knowledge about it. It also has a great layout which helps with the navigation. Plus, it has a solid integration with Review wave.
Cons
What I dislike about align is that it behaves like a spam website, sometimes at least. If it were a free trial then It would have been understandable that the software lacks polish, or doesn’t wanna offer you the full package in order to force the user to purchase an expensive package. And it’s not that. There are numerous ads on the site. The application has this weird pop-up system, especially when logging in which constantly bugs me, and then there are those dialog boxes that require you to interact with them or else they’ll stop you from working at all. It’s not a deal breaker but still very annoying if you think about it.

“Good clinic management software with helpful features like one-page lists, performance indicators, etc.
Pros
It is great at managing patients and has practically increased my practices efficiency while lowering expenses. ALIGN has excellent optimizations to better manage your workflow and comes with a much-needed priority calendar. I also like how it lists performance indicators to give me a direct view of my clinic’s outlook.
Cons
Customization is not really its strong point. I have tried adding certain items that I need to a document, but it just cannot happen. They need to work on that.

Learning Affinity Billing has been a very easy. I like the trainings and the support provided along the way. The team has been flexible and responsive to all my inquiries. I love the features, and the patient portal is fantastic.
