“Not a bad choice”
Pros
AltaPoint is pretty easy to use and understand, and the navigation is great too. But I did like to use it a bit longer before I really dive into the pros and cons of the software.
Cons
This software has caused a lot of glitches for me and my colleagues. It keeps freezing up and really messes with our workflow which makes it harder for us to stay productive.

Cons
The customer care could definitely be more responsive. It would be great if they were quicker in addressing our issues and providing support when needed.

Pros
It's been super beneficial for our practice. We can now check in and check out patients using electronic forms, which means no more paperwork! It is really made everything more efficient and I am honestly very impressed.
Cons
The customer care is not available at all times and we have to wait a few hours sometimes. This wastes our important time.

“Requires a little time to get used to”
Pros
The billing batch feature has been super helpful for our accounts department. It makes things a lot more efficient. Plus, customer service is great as they always call back right away whenever we need help.
Cons
Training is very expensive and let me tell you it requires a lot of effort if you want to learn it on your own.

I honestly cannot find anything good about it.
Cons
Everything about it is a problem. For example, a lot of the features like the date of diagnosis and the list of symptoms, just disappeared out of nowhere. And every time I call customer service, they say they will get back to me, but they never actually do.

I have been using AltaPoint for over 12 years now, and it is been nothing but great. I love how easy it is to use and the staff is super friendly. They always make sure any issues I run into get resolved as quickly as possible.
Cons
The issue that I have faced while using this is that there is some problem with the printing of the forms. They dont come out right.

If you’re starting your practice, then this system is something that you need. The company would walk you thru and will help you. The support team is great, they are always there to help and if they are unable due to any reason, they will always get back to you.
Cons
It doesn’t have an EHR. The only reason we switched was that we needed an EHR.
