AltaPoint is easy to navigate and understand and has good navigation, but I want to use it a little longer before pointing out the pros and cons of the software.
Cons
This software has caused glitches for me and my colleagues. It keeps glitching and hinders workflow productivity!

It has been very beneficial for our practice. We can check in and check-out patients with electronic forms. There is no more paperwork. Impressive work.
Cons
The customer care is not available at all times and we have to wait a few hours sometimes. Wastes our important time.

It is one of the only companies offering a good deal on the purchase of software and you do not need to make monthly payments. We expanded from single to multi-user with no issues at all.

The billing batch feature is very useful to the accounts department. The customer service calls back immediately.

Training is very expensive and it requires a lot of effort if you want to learn it on your own.

It is great for a starter software and you can get all the basic amenities. The training is exceptional and the company will get you through all the modules.
Cons
It does not have any additional features even though it has the same price as others.

Pros
It has been more than 12 years that I have been using AltaPoint and it has been nothing but great. I love how it is so easy to use. The staff has been super friendly too, they make sure that the issues faced are resolved as soon as possible.
Cons
The issue that I have faced while using this is that there is some problem with the printing of the forms. They dont come out right.

If you’re starting your practice, then this system is something that you need. The company would walk you thru and will help you. The support team is great, they are always there to help and if they are unable due to any reason, they will always get back to you.
Cons
It doesn’t have an EHR. The only reason we switched was that we needed an EHR.
